Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey has been established for over 100 years and is the major provider of services for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind in Surrey.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative Corporate and Community Fundraiser to lead on the development and growth of income through businesses and local communities across Surrey. Work Context:

Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). New Business

• Work closely with the Development Team to identify new business opportunities (including charity of the year partnerships) and to develop new relationships with stakeholders across Sussex and Surrey

• To research and approach companies to maximise fundraising opportunities,Develop and promote sponsorship opportunities and corporate partnership offerings

• Create engaging proposition presentations to approach new businesses engaging with them and s other such stakeholders regularly, hosting visits and attending meetings where necessary

Reporting and Monitoring

• Provide regular reporting for trustees and the Development Team

• To monitor and evaluate all aspects of the partnership, reporting on income and engagement. 

• Regular indepth bespoke reporting for our funding partner

• Work with the Head of Development on creating forecasts and budgets

• Ensuring records are maintained through our CRM system, Donorfy

• Adhere to data protection regulation and have an understanding of the Fundraising Regulator guidelines

About this job

Our Third Party Events team are working to raise up to £2m+ across a range of activities in 2024, and we need brilliant people to help achieve our ambitious fundraising goals.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of third party challenge events to target, and for innovating, developing and delivering new fundraising activities.

You'll also be monitoring and evaluating all products to create opportunities for future growth. This role is customer-focused and you'll spend lots of time stewarding our amazing supporters to maximise their fundraising.

This is an exciting opportunity to steward fundraising teams of significant size, as well as helping to shape the future third party events strategy.

The portfolio is well-established and includes a mixture of events activities, including runs, cycles and challenges. You'll have contact with event participants and supporters and manage relationships with a number of third party agencies, while working with other colleagues in our Community and Events team.

Director of Income Generation

An opportunity has arisen to join Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as our new Director of Income Generation.  Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead a dynamic and committed team to achieve ambitious income generation targets.  You will sustain and further develop a balanced, and diverse income generation portfolio, focusing on maximising income and growing enduring relationships with supporters and customers across our region.

This is an exciting time to join Phyllis Tuckwell with the successful candidate having the opportunity to plan and implement the final stage of our £6 million appeal to build a new hospice.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to generate income and raise awareness of the Hospice mission and services.
• Provide direction, expertise, guidance, vision and leadership to all teams on income generation activities in a way that enables the teams to own the delivery of the IG strategy and plans.
