About the Role

The Project Officer role is a new, varied position within the central Strategy, Planning and Change team, supporting the delivery of projects in our Future Foundation Programme, which is our internal change programme making the Foundation fit for the future. 

The post holder will work closely with the team of Project Managers to provide high quality and efficient project management and delivery support. They will also play a key role to support the design and set-up of new and improved approaches to programme and project management across the Foundation.  This is an exciting opportunity to support organisational wide projects that you can make your own supported by a friendly team. 

Desirable Experience:

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working in a Project/Programme Office (PMO) environment, with familiarity in project governance, reporting, change management and supporting project management frameworks. This experience will be valuable in helping to embed consistent project practices and contribute to the success of our change initiatives.

Job Title: Housing Support Worker

Location: Non residential service which is based in Brent (Close to the Civic Centre), you will provide support based in the main office and in the wider community, including homes

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota which can range between 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00 and 10:00 - 18:00. You may be required to work outside these hours dependant on service and participant requirements.

The Head of Media is responsible for the Spokesperson Network and helping people in NEON’s networks make the most of media opportunities. They lead on strategy, developing high-level media contacts and managing staff associated with the programme.

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. You will also be a confident facilitator, as some group and training delivery will be expected.

This role would ideally suit a parent who has successfully managed their own perinatal mental health problems and those with good understanding of promoting positive perinatal mental wellbeing.

Youth Engagement Officer  

Location: Hybrid. Expected to be in our London office in Victoria at least one day per week. You can be remote every other day or come into the office. Your office days are flexible and can be agreed with your manager, other than for monthly team days where you must be in person. Some nationwide travel expected for Youth Steering Group training days, events and conferences. After passing probation, up to six weeks ‘super remote’ working per year, where you can work anywhere in the world as long as you’re online for four hours of the UK workday.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2026 with the possibility to extend. 

Holidays: 38 days per year, including our 3-day winter shut down and eight flexible bank holidays.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time) Please note as this role works with young people there will be occasions where your working hours will be outside the standard 9-5:30pm. This will typically be a few meetings per month that can last until 7pm and about four weekend days over the year. This is to ensure our activities fit around the young people’s education and work commitments.

The Fair Education Alliance (FEA) unites 300 member organisations under a shared vision that no child’s success is limited by their socioeconomic background.

Our members (charities and social enterprises, think tanks, businesses and foundations, youth organisations, unions, universities and schools) are working collectively to create an inclusive system. We exist to close the gap in educational outcomes between children from low-income households and their wealthier peers. 

This autumn, we’re kicking off our next strategic phase, which will take our work from neighbourhood to national, building a movement for systems change towards a fairer future for children and young people.

Education is not fair. The gaps in educational outcomes between children from low-income households and their wealthier peers are staggering at every stage of education. Our Alliance exists to tackle this inequity, and we believe this will only be possible by empowering young people who have faced barriers in education, to colead systemic change as part of diverse cross-sector coalition.  This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the movement to ensure all young people are respected and heard in decisions affecting their education. You would be joining the organisation at a very exciting time as our youth engagement work is growing and building momentum across the sector. In the last year we have seen a 25% increase in youth engagement across our membership, have supported Ofsted and Department for Education to their youth participation in policy making and our Youth Steering Group hosted our biggest ever Fair Education Youth Summit. This role will play a critical part in the success of taking this work forward. As the Youth Engagement Officer, you will work with our Head of Youth Engagement to ensure our Youth Steering Group can lead their own campaign activities, engage directly with decision makers, and collaborate with other young people to bring about the change they want to see. You will also support and manage the logistics of our Youth Summit, Youth Engagement Working Group and other youth engagement events. 

What we’re asking of you  

Support our Youth Steering Group to feel safe and confident as they co-lead our Alliance and create change

Our Youth Steering Group is made up of 25 brilliant young people, aged 14-24, who draw on their lived experience of the different barriers to accessing a fair education, to campaign for change. You will support the young people to lead their own campaign activity, write their monthly Youth Bulletin and engage directly with policy makers. You will also help the group to participate in FEA decision making, support the design and facilitation of their monthly meetings and training days, help them make progress against their personal development plans. This role will include working directly with young people, session planning and facilitation, policy research and managing logistics.

Ensure the Fair Education Youth Summit is a success and remains truly youth-led  

Our Youth Steering Group design and run the annual Fair Education Youth Summit. The event is led by young people for young people and brings together young changemakers from across our membership and the wider education and youth sectors to develop their youth leadership skills, collaborate on campaigns, and engage directly with decision makers. You will support the young people to design sessions, secure speakers, embed past feedback and plan the event structure. You will also support with the event logistics, guestlist management, participant communications and collecting attendee feedback.

Support our members to improve their youth engagement practice  

Our Youth Engagement Working Group supports FEA members and other sector organsiations to increase and improve their own youth engagement practice. You will support the management of logistics, promote the workshops, and communicate with working group members. You will also support the facilitation of the workshops and ensure the attendee data and feedback is correctly logged and actioned. The critical responsibilities of this role are described above. They may be subject to reasonable changes from time to time in line with business need and the decisions of the youth leaders we support.

As Training Programme Lead, you’ll play a central role in supporting CSRH trainees, upholding curriculum standards, and ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the General Medical Council (GMC). You’ll also guide doctors pursuing specialist registration through alternative routes, such as the GMC’s Portfolio Pathway, ensuring these processes are fair, transparent, and effective. Acting as the key liaison between trainees, educators, regulators, and other stakeholders across the UK, you’ll help shape the future workforce in this vital area of healthcare. The role:

Curriculum management

• Ensure the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework meets the regulatory standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Collaborate with clinicians, educators, regulators, and statutory boards to ensure the curriculum remains relevant, effective, and aligned with national standards, legislation, and service needs.
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery across training sites by collecting feedback, audit results, and performance data; maintain accurate records of trainee outcomes and produce reports to support internal governance and external regulatory compliance.
• Support the use of digital platforms to track trainee progress against curriculum outcomes.

Trainee Support & Progression

• Act as a key point of contact for specialty trainees, providing guidance and administrative support throughout their training.
• Assist trainees in navigating digital platforms used for portfolio management and progression tracking.
• Develop and maintain clear, accessible guidance documents to support trainees in understanding training requirements and processes.
• Coordinate training events, inductions, and communications to keep trainees informed and engaged.

Stakeholder engagement

• Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including the GMC, NHS England, statutory education boards, medical colleges and faculties, and training providers.
• Serve as the primary liaison for specialty trainees, Educational Supervisors and Training Programme Directors
• Work with suppliers and digital platform providers to maintain and improve user experience and functionality.

Portfolio Pathway

• Support doctors applying for specialist registration via the GMC’s Portfolio Pathway.

• Provide clear, accessible guidance to applicants and maintain accurate records to support continuous improvement of the process and data to support workforce planning.

Committee and Governance Support

• Provide high-quality administrative support to internal committees, working groups, and panels involved in specialty training governance.
• Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions to ensure effective committee operations.
• Support the governance of the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures and standard operating procedures related to the specialty training portfolio.
