About the role

This role sits within our The Major Fundraising Partnerships Directorate. The team in this directorate are part of our income generation enabler focused purely on ensuring we achieve the goal of doubling our organisation fundraising income by 2030 The Head of Philanthropy & Entrepreneurial Partnerships Job will provide leadership and strategic direction to the Philanthropy, Corporate and Entrepreneurial Income generation teams, as well as part own and drive the delivery of our exciting and vibrant new Income Generation Fundraising Strategy. The role will help us deliver on a significant and sustainable growth through creative and innovative fundraising methods to ensure that AIUK can deliver its overall strategy and achieve maximum impact over the next 5 - 10 years.

The day to day involves:

  • Innovation - Innovating and ideating and delivering on new ways to generate and grow our income

  • Strategy, Stakeholder Management and Stewardship - Managing complex fundraising partnership and complex stakeholder relationships at a leadership level and working directly with, cultivating and stewarding a select group of the most influential donors/companies or executives whose value or financial influence is at, or has the potential to be at 7&8 figure sums.

  • Resource & People Management - Ensuring appropriate staff resourcing for the department at all times. So that the optimum number of staff are in place achieve our per head return on investment, and leading the teams within in the department, by setting high standards, clear expectations for a culture that supports dynamic income & engagement growth plans.

  • Budgets and Policy - Overseeing and taking responsibility for the development of departmental budgets and long-term projections
