About the role
Your key purpose will be to support the Individual Giving Manager in the provision of excellence in supporter care for individuals supporting all fundraising activities and projects related to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices Individual Giving programme, Gifts in Memory fundraising and ensuring Shooting Star Children’s Hospices families who choose to fundraise are effectively supported in their activity. This role will support the charities appeal fundraising programme, working with the Head of Supporter Engagement and Individual Giving Manager on supporter stewardship.
The Supporter Care Co-ordinator will also provide efficient and effective key administrative support to the wider fundraising team, optimising income generation proactivity cross-team.

We are looking for a creative, pro-active and outgoing Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team who can build on our successful corporate partnership programme. This is an exciting role that combines new business and account management, implementing Shooting Star Children’s Hospices corporate fundraising strategy with the aim of maximising income from corporate partnerships.

The People & EDI Manager will be a key member of the Global Operations Team, responsible for effective and efficient Global HR delivery at both a strategic and an operational level across the organisation. Aims of the post

Main Conditions of Service
This is a part time position. The post is for 22.5 hours per week. It is expected that the hours will be delivered on 3 full days (to be agreed) each week but alternative arrangements, ie 4.5 hours per day for 5 days, may be acceptable. Duties will occasionally be carried out over evenings and some public holidays. Overtime is not paid but in line with Agile working, hours can be averaged out over a 2-week period.
Annual leave entitlement is 26 days per year plus normal bank holidays pro rata. This will rise after each completed year of service to a maximum of 30 days – pro rata.
Salaries and expenses are based on PBHA’s salary scales and are revised each year. The salary for this post will be in the range of £35,692 pro rata per annum and the starting salary is £35,692 (£21,415 for 22.5 hours per week).
The post holder will be auto enrolled to be a member of the organisation's contributory pension scheme if eligible.
In common with all posts at PBHA, confirmation of appointment is subject to a probationary period (6 months). The notice period for this role is four weeks.

Fundraising is critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year), of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations, £100k is from individuals, and the remaining from trusts and foundations. We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to work within our passionate Philanthropy Team to help grow our fundraised income and develop and maintain an effective, high-quality funding pipeline. Focussing predominantly on eliciting funding from trusts and foundations, and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO and Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Fundraising Manager will ensure the effective management of existing funder relations and take responsibility for ensuring Action Tutoring meets its reporting obligations. New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support.
