Job Purpose

Role Responsibilities:
● Support Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations, including month-end
and year-end closing processes:
● Cash Management: Overseeing the handling of cash receipts and
disbursements, ensuring accurate recording, and managing bank balances.
This includes reconciling bank accounts and petty cash.
● Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and
credit card statements, ensuring that balances are accurate and up to date.
● Journal Adjustments: Making entries in the accounting system to correct errors
or to record transactions that are not entered automatically.
This specifically includes:
● Prepayments: Accounting for expenses paid in advance.
● Accruals: Recognizing expenses incurred but not yet paid, or income
earned but not yet received.
● Payroll: Processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate payment of
salaries and wages, and recording related deductions and taxes.
● Prepare mid and end of the month BACS payment run and ensure that
suppliers, staff and students are paid within payment terms.
● Support Head of Finance on the external and internal audits;
● Gathering and organising financial records and documents needed for the
audit process.
● Responding to inquiries: Addressing questions and requests for information
from auditors.
● Prepare the VAT statement for review by the Finance Manager.

Person Specification
● Previous Officer/Administrator experiences are ideal but not necessary.
● Ability to undertake administrative tasks and development of effective office systems
and procedures.
● Ability to use information technology for word processing, spreadsheets and
databases and ideally you will have a typing speed of over 60 words per minute.

I’m looking to speak to a Content Manager who will join a fantastic health charity, and produce high quality, compelling and insight-driven content for use across multiple channels to raise the profile the charity and their impact. This includes a strong focus on video and multimedia content, written stories and blogs as well as leading their successful podcast production. The Program Manager will manage the grant portfolio, from grantee selection, due diligence, reporting, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes. This is a new, pivotal strategic role to shape future policy and practice in how faith communities support social prescribing for the benefit of local communities. Building on the emerging body of research around the connection between faith and health, this role will take the lead at a national level influencing, shaping and convening partners to unlock and unleash the significant resources of faith groups in contributing towards holistic healthcare delivered within the community.

This exciting Senior Content Manager role will lead on the Foundation’s content strategy and the delivery of high-quality content across all our channels in line with our strategic objectives and digital strategy.
What does the role involve?
- Lead on planning, creating and scheduling content
- Manage the relationship with our community management agency to ensure our online communities are kept engaged and supported.
- Setting the standard and ensuring the high quality of all content produced at the Foundation.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Experience of writing and delivering content and social media strategies.
- Significant experience of planning and delivering extensive social media campaigns for large audiences.
- Experience of writing, creating and deploying a range of content for different audiences across digital channels, including website, email and social media.
- Ability to convey complex information and stories simply and effectively.

We are currently operating mostly digital recruitment (including interviews via video conferencing). We have moved to a hybrid working model of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office and the rest working from home for full time staff, pro rata for part time staff.
