As Social Media Coordinator, you will live and breathe all things social media, understanding its potential contribution to achieving our mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ownership of our social media channels; regularly testing, creating, and posting content that is tailored to each platform, using each channel’s features to maximise impact towards our goals.

• Planning and building social media campaigns that strategically integrate goals and consider metrics.

• Updating the communications calendar.

• Create inspiring concepts and develop these into compelling, on-brand, platform-specific content using tools like Canva and Adobe Express.

• Social media community management including moderating and responding to comments and messages to ensure people feel valued, engaged, and we are building strong relationships with supporters and potential supporters.

• Regularly monitoring social trends to create topical content.

This role will be crucial in supporting our delivery team to safeguard the young people we work with and help ensure that IntoUniversity provides a safe environment for all of our young people at all times.

The Senior Programmes & Policy Manager is responsible for:

Programme Development and Delivery

● Launching our two popular, fully funded, social action programmes in Scotland: Bite Back in Schools and Shape Your Streets; working with and visiting schools and local authorities across Scotland

● Supporting school pupils and communities to drive improvements to their local food environments and school food environments

● Helping facilitate youth-led events, workshops, and campaigns focused on food system change

● Working with our Scottish partners and building strong working relationships with participating schools, local authorities and other stakeholders

● Supporting with the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of these two programmes Youth Engagement and Voice

● Seeking out meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with and influence decision-makers in Scotland

● Ensuring youth voice is embedded across all programmes and policy work

Policy and Advocacy

● Actively seeking out opportunities to champion Scottish policy developments in health, education, and food systems

● Working closely with other organisations via established coalitions and more informal coordination around key issues, working collaboratively with values-aligned organisations to achieve our goals

● Developing briefings, consultation responses, and policy proposals, ensuring they are evidence-based and amplify youth perspectives

● Translating young people’s insights into campaign messaging for policymakers and distil policy detail into key points for young people to engage with and campaign on

• To ensure we use a consistent and streamlined approach to gathering data.

• Lead on the development and delivery of a trusts strategy, overseeing the whole trusts portfolio, to generate agreed annual targets for SeeAbility.
• Be the charity’s expert in trust fundraising, adopting a data-driven approach, keeping abreast of sector developments and making the business case for change where appropriate.
• Develop and enhance relationships with existing trusts, delivering first-class stewardship, making appropriate and timely applications to secure agreed annual budget and ensuring that all reporting is completed in line with guidelines.

• Manage, support and mentor the Trusts Fundraiser to secure funds from trusts and statutory sources of income. To lead any further expansion of the trust team in the future if the opportunity arises.
• Implement the systems, tools and procedures to proactively identify new funders that align with SeeAbility’s strategy and ethical policy.
• Work across the organisation to generate new and innovative ways to package up SeeAbility’s work to secure funding.
• To be responsible for setting, monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure budgets and key performance indicators
• To be responsible for developing and delivering the annual work plan for trusts fundraising
• Engage staff across the organisation in trust fundraising to support proposal development, reporting and stewardship and to grow the fundraising culture.

Scope of Work

1. Financial Data Entry & Reconciliation

• Enter and reconcile day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system, including expenses, transfers, payments, and receipts.

3. Financial Reporting
