Training Officer
37 hours (Salary £24,011 – £26,060 FTE)

Framework is a registered charity delivering housing, support, health and employment services to people with a diverse range of needs. We assist rough sleepers and those who need help to keep their home. We support excluded youngsters as they make their way into adulthood and those starting or returning to work.  We provide access to treatment for people with mental health issues, those misusing alcohol or illegal substances, and join up services for homeless people with multiple and complex needs.

Through approximately 70 services across the East Midlands, Framework is both a safety net and a platform for change. Each year more than eighteen thousand people approach us for help.  Responding to their needs, respecting their choices and empowering them to achieve, we aim to make life better for our service users and those around them.

Due to our continued growth, the HR Team are looking to appoint a Training Officer to support those that help our service users.  We are seeking someone who can help Framework develop and maintain a professional, dedicated learning solution.  This will provide appropriate learning needs to all Framework employees, within the priorities set out by the HR Plan and our Training Needs Analysis.  This person will provide a high standard of direction, support, provision of solutions to Framework employees and volunteers through the use of quality internal and external facilitators.

The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a wider HR team, thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining organisational disciplines.  Experience in designing, delivering and maintaining learning outcomes whilst understanding their impact is essential.

Framework currently employs over 1000 employees across the East Midlands. You will need to relish working in an interesting and complex organisation with a strong values base and social purpose.

Key skills for this fast-paced role include; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with contacts at all levels of the organisation including other departments, Managers, Senior Management, internal and external learning providers.

Experience of the housing, charitable or public sectors could be advantageous. Of greater significance are commitment and resilience.  Above all, we need someone whose concern for those we serve will be paramount.
