About the Role

About the opportunity:

Imperial’s Regular Giving and Legacy team is seeking a coordinator for a 12-month fixed term contract. For this role you will need to show experience of working in a fast paced, target-driven environment. What you would be doing

Imperial’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving programme seeks philanthropic support up to £50,000 to advance the work of the University. Primarily, the programme focuses on soliciting support from alumni. The Legacy team raises philanthropic income from alumni and friends who leave the gifts in their will.  Our programmes raise funds for a variety of projects across the University including bursaries and scholarships, enhancing the student experience and Faculty level support.

Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging, but the key duties are:

• Act as first contact for all fundraising related queries (by telephone, email, post and in person); liaise across the team to draft and send appropriate responses.
• Collect, collate and manage case studies, including building relationships with students.
• Support the telethon fundraising campaigns, direct marketing fundraising appeals, and managing your own fundraising projects such as emails and social media.

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities

One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. Job Summary

The Area Giving and Finance Advisor provides comprehensive finance support to churches within the Kensington Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Stewardship Writing

• Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
• Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
• Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
• Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
