An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Project Manager – Apprentice to join the Estates team. Your role is to contribute to the successful delivery of a number of projects and small works, ensuring the scope and benefits are achieved as planned.

Minimum age 18 and commitment to complete an 18 month apprenticeship with studying and theory along side work.
Role Requirements
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to precisely define project scope and objectives, eliciting technical requirements to formulate detailed specifications, cost assessments, and delivery schedules, while maintaining close coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and key milestones.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of key project documents for stakeholder approval and governance.
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing capital and operational projects and other minor works throughout the organisation, taking ownership of the successful delivery of assigned projects and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, raising any issues / risks and reporting on a regular basis.
- Work within agreed budget and available resource, reporting on forecast, spend and raising any variations to the Project Manager.
- Build and maintain good relationships with all project stakeholders using a variety of communication methods.
- Track and assess project performance and outcomes using relevant tools and methodologies to collate and analyse data to report on project performance.
- Identify and monitor project risks and issues; and plan and implement responses to them.
- Assist in planning and coordinating the resources – human, financial and material – required for effective project delivery, working with the Senior Engineer to advise on resources from in-house Maintenance Team for up-coming projects.
- Apply quality management systems and tools to ensure project outcomes meet all legislative, regulatory and local standards.
- Participate in post project evaluation to document lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist the Project Manager with collation of all Estates compliance certificates and service report onto the compliance register.
- Provide input, as required, to monthly compliance reports.
- Provide updates on required remedial works, as necessary.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced Philanthropy Manager to proactively lead the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, trusts and statutory bodies, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, the Philanthropy Manager will drive the growth of a portfolio of existing supporters and new prospects giving at the five and six figure gift level, with a particular focus on generating major gifts from new donors. The postholder will think strategically to develop inspiring fundraising cases of support, and impact reporting working closely with Care service colleagues, the finance team and the wider fundraising and engagement team.
This role has line management responsibility for three experienced fundraisers who manage their own portfolios of Major Donors, Trusts, and Foundations.

- Develop and oversee the Youth Engagement Programme as part of the ‘100 years of Ashburton Park Project’ including a range of activities in and nearby to Ashburton Park, including after school drop-in’s, evening sessions, group work and one-one mentoring.
- Support the development and engagement of young people in a Food Growing Enterprise based at Ashburton Lodge.
- Work closely with Croydon Council and other partners to support young people to engage with a wide range of programmes and activities that are part of the ‘100 years of Ashburton Park Project’.
- Deliver open access sessions, group and one to one interventions with young people including; half term, afterschool, evenings and residentials, using a planned youth work curriculum.
- Line manage youth workers, sessional youth workers and youth volunteers to plan, deliver and evaluate youth work termly.
- Contribute to the development of youth work across the area and lead on specific areas of work on behalf of the team.
Amongst other requirements, the successful post holder must have:

It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Director of Income Generation a brand-new role in the organisation. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy. Income Generation is central to both.
We are transforming our approach to engagement to grow and deepen relationships with all our audiences. This creates an opportunity to integrate our approach to engagement and income generation. So we can increase our financial supporter base. Grow and diversify long-term sustainable income to deliver transformational impact for the MS Community. And contribute to our ultimate vision of a world free from MS.
We are looking for someone to provide strategic and thought leadership to income generation. Someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to lead and drive forward our ambition for income generation.
You will act as the leading authority on matters relating to income generation, providing advice across the organisation including to the Executive Group and Trustees.
You will enable the delivery of related transformation programmes that increase and diversify income. And have strategic ownership of the income generation programme, including income-related activities and KPIs within the engagement calendar, and customer experience and journeys relating to financial supporters
You will lead on income generation functions planning and budget setting contributing to the overall business planning process for the Income and Engagement Directorate

The Philanthropy team is part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships department, whose primary goal is to engage high value supporters and fundraise for the Stop MS Appeal.
As Philanthropy Officer, you will work closely with the Philanthropy manager, raising income for the MS Society from philanthropy fundraising activities as per the agreed objectives and targets.
You will identify, engage and steward philanthropy prospects through events and other appropriate fundraising activities, generating income to achieve ambitious targets and delivering a first class supporter experience.

Working Conditions
The primary locations for this role will be Cambridge Science Centre's Head Office at 44 Clifton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7ED (assigned desk or workspace) and the Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FN (hotdesking model).
In addition, there will be travel (primarily driving with a company or hire vehicle) to the semi-permanent centre (Inspire Wisbech Centre, Wisbech, PE13 1AR) and, on occasion a variety of locations across the East of England.

We are gradually moving back to our offices on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London and we anticipate most colleagues will work one or two days a week in the office and the rest of the time from home. We will happily discuss other flexible options to suit your circumstances.
