Job description

Are you a compassionate leader with an enthusiasm for developing fundraising teams? Do you consider yourself strategically minded with broad experience across multiple income streams? Would you like the opportunity to embrace a new challenge in a growing organisation at an exciting time of change? Look no further!

Across the UK, 1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives. Living in the North West, we are 25% more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than elsewhere in the UK and we have an opportunity for you to lead a team that raises funds to tackle the forms of cancer which have the greatest impact on our region.

We are looking for a Senior Fundraising Manager to lead, motivate and support the fundraising function enabling all members of the team to reach their fundraising potential. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising you will work across multiple income streams to grow the supporter base and ensure effective stewardship of all donors. Varied, fast-paced and full of potential this role offers a real opportunity to make a huge impact at an exciting time within this fantastic organisation.

To be considered for this role you should come to us with significant experience of working across multiple income streams (community, corporate, lottery, individual giving) and demonstrable experience of working towards stretching KPIs and growing fundraising income. You should be an experienced manager with a successful track record in coaching and mentoring individuals and leading teams. Most importantly you should be motivating, inspiring and passionate - a valued member of the SMT and a leader the team can look up to and collaborate with in order to achieve great success.

The role will be predominantly based out of the charity's offices in Liverpool but will involve travel across the NW and provide an element of flexibility if required. This is a wonderful, well remunerated, role that provides a real opportunity for the successful applicant to be the catalyst to enable this team to grow and develop to achieve great success.

The recruitment for this post is ongoing so early application is advisable. To register your interest, or find out more, contact Charlie or Jack:
