Merseyside Youth Association is seeking an energetic and visionary Outdoor Education Centre Manager to lead our lakeside Outdoor Education Centre (based on the Lord Derby Estate in Knowsley) into its next exciting chapter.

You’ll be the driving force behind the Centre’s direction, designing imaginative outdoor programmes for children and young people including those who may never have experienced the outdoors before.

Alongside the outdoor delivery, you’ll bring strong commercial flair: developing and delivering a robust income generation strategy, managing budgets, securing grants, expanding school and corporate bookings, and positioning MYA as the provider of choice for outdoor education locally and beyond.

Primary Purpose:

The Service Manager works as part of the Charity Operations team and has operational responsibility for the sustainability and development of a range of existing services, developing new service opportunities and taking an active part in influencing change and improvement on behalf of older people..

Main Duties:

• Participate in joint decision making as a member of the services management team in both strategic and operational planning.
• In-line with the organisation’s strategy, prepare an annual plan of activity for all areas of responsibility identifying resource implications.
• Ensure staff take the necessary operational decisions to meet service plans and contractual requirements.
• Review and revise service operational delivery plans regularly to ensure they are still meeting need. Ensure that the operational plans are cascaded down to the teams.
• Ensure that the terms of all funding arrangements are completed including the submission of monitoring and activity reports by due dates.
• Working with the Head of Services and Head of Finance to agree the annual budgets for all areas of responsibility.
• Manage staff performance in all areas of responsibility to achieve expected service outcomes and obligations.
• Ensure that staff and volunteers are fully trained and equipped to meet operational requirements and deliver excellent services.
• Ensure that planned staff absence is organised to ensure that appropriately trained staff are available to provide cover, or acceptable alternative arrangements are in place
• Have a clear view of the achievable outcomes of the work (both quantitative and qualitative). Ensure these expectations are reflected in materials provided to people we work with and in the contractual arrangements agreed with funders.

Campaign Director

Are you driven by social justice and motivated by creating real, lasting change? Are you a strategic campaign leader who can turn public will into political action? If so, we have a job for you.

We are looking for a Campaign Director to provide overall day-to-day leadership of the Partnership with The Disabled Children’s Partnership (DCP). You will be responsible for driving forward an ambitious integrated campaign, which combines political influencing, press and digital communications, public campaigning, and coalition mobilisation. Reporting directly to the Chair, the Campaign Director ensures the Partnership’s strategy is coherent, impactful, and responsive to political and public opportunities.

In this role, one eye will always be to our impact and the lasting legacy of our campaigns. Success will be measured in terms of real lasting social change – the extent to which DCP has driven positive shifts in policy, practice and attitudes through our campaigns, and whether our influence has shaped the narratives, priorities and actions of others beyond the lifetime of the campaign.

This role is a fixed‑term position (22.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days) until June 2027. We’re open to discussing how these hours can best work for you. Some on‑call and out‑of‑hours working may be required.

Purpose of the Job 

Oversee the planning and delivery of a portfolio of trusts and foundations funders, that maximise income potential and provide relationship management for a number of key accounts, providing impact reports and associated benefits

Devising, implementing and attending a variety of national Stewardship events as and when required and leading and supporting depot visits for potential and existing funders. Develop a range of engaging, innovative and persuasive proposals that capture the ambition and vision of the charity.

Provide continuous reviews of plans and/or funding agreements managed by the trusts and foundations team to ensure appropriate levels of stewardship and undertake research to identify potential funders, both within and outside of the UK and maintaining an effective pipeline designed to undertake detailed prospecting and identification of targets needed to deliver long term income.

For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by this lifelong condition. Our #BloodyAmazingKidneys campaign has reached more than 6 million people and 294,000 of those have taken our digital kidney health checker.

About the role

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a key role in this growth, managing and securing new corporate partnerships with support from the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Our corporate partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.

Primarily, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of corporate partnerships, growing strong relationships, delivering partnership activities, and proactively securing new corporate partnerships, including charity of the year relationships. You'll further support the Corporate Partnership Manager and Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications as needed with key activities within larger partnerships, developing a well rounded understanding of how Kidney Care UK works in partnership.

We’re looking for a talented Salesforce Product Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.

This is a crucial and strategic role for our charity as we require an expert product manager to lead and manage our Salesforce platform, delivering configuration, insight, reporting and training.

The Salesforce Product Manager is responsible for leading the ongoing development, administration and improvement of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it supports all areas of our charity, including fundraising, operations, finance and grant management.

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting a Digital Mobilisation Manager (Campaigns and Communications) part of both the Campaigns & Communications team and Fundraising team to support and to enable continuing and sustainable growth in our ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all people seeking asylum. This role is crucial in enabling continued and sustainable growth in our groundbreaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all refugees

The Digital Mobilisation Manager will lead Safe Passage’s digital programme, sitting within both our Fundraising and Campaigns teams. They will mobilise supporters through timely actions; manage, develop and grow our digital channels strategically; and be at the centre of meeting our fundraising and campaign goals. They will lead on the development of our digital strategy with oversight from the leadership team, implementing it through expert, hands-on content creation.  

This post is an exciting role, responsible for mobilising campaign actions and helping raise the money needed for Safe Passage to do its important work. You will bring a passion for digital developments and action, motivated to advance refugee rights and support the campaigns and fundraising team with team objectives.  The successful candidate will be proactively progressing digital opportunities and innovations. You will work as part of a collaborative Campaigns and Communications Team, Fundraising Team and closely with colleagues across Safe Passage International, including teams in the UK, Greece, and France.

The Active Recovery Project gives adult survivors of abuse the opportunity to take part in community-based activities. Members of Active Recovery can participate in a variety of group activities with others who share or understand their experience and develop peer relationships, resulting in increasing confidence and reduced isolation. The activities are based on ideas from our members and include water-based activities (such as rowing, canoeing, sailing and kayaking), surfing, trips to community spaces and creative sessions (such as arts and crafts). Activities take place every week. Each activity will last approximately 2.5 hours each. Members can attend the group sessions for up to 18 months. 

Job Purpose: 

We are looking for a warm and passionate leader to come and join the Active Recovery Service.

As an Active Recovery Lead, their job will be to develop and deliver the Active Recovery Project in Bristol and in Somerset. Using a trauma-informed approach, the Active Recovery Lead will create and provide a safe and supportive space for clients from The Sexual Violence Alliance organisations (The Southmead Project, SARSAS, Womankind and the Bridge Sarc) to participate in a variety of group activities, with others who share or understand their experience and develop peer relationships, resulting in increasing confidence and reduced isolation. 

Principal Tasks:

1. Run two Active Recovery groups a week, with , with the help of the Practitioner.

2. Provide initial trauma-informed assessment phone calls and/or meetings with potential members as part of the registration process for Active Recovery. This includes assessing need, risk and suitability for the service using a trauma-informed approach. 

3. Create safety plans and tailor activity sessions where appropriate after building relationships with members following the initial phone calls.

4. Plan trauma-informed sessions for members, including producing risk assessments for each activity, visiting activity locations and delivering relevant trauma training to activity providers. 

5. Oversee and lead on setting up, delivering and debriefing about activity sessions with members, volunteers and staff. Ensuring members are clear on each session's ground rules and safeguarding processes, using the Member’s Agreement.

6. Provide trauma-informed face-to-face support to members at sessions who may become overwhelmed or require help dealing with flashbacks and dissociation.

7. To support volunteers and staff with safeguarding queries and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed. To be the safeguarding lead at activity sessions, escalating any onward safeguarding referrals and queries to the Southmead Project Designated Safeguarding Lead.

8. Participate in and support the recruitment and induction training of volunteers.

9. Support and line manage a team of volunteers.

10. Develop and maintain an Active Recovery community through email, phone calls, texts and in person.

11. Develop and drive forward the project’s aim to have the members’ voices at the heart of the project.

12. Collaborate with developing outcome processes in line with the Southmead Project and its funders’ requirements.

13. Analyse data and feedback collected through outcomes processes to adapt and constantly improve the planning and delivery of the project sessions.

14. Contribute content for reports as required. 

15. Build and maintain positive relationships with partnership organisations for the project.

16. Manage the day to day budget for the project sessions, keeping accurate records to report to the Head of Active Recovery and planning how the budget will be spent across sessions, within guidelines provided by the Head of Active Recovery.

17. Record data accurately and in a timely manner on Oasis.

18. Produce social media and website posts about the project, including producing and editing videos.

19. Attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings with the Head of Active Recovery. 

20. To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a Supervisor who is approved by the Southmead Project. Supervision is a requirement of this charity as an organisational member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. 

21. To work within the framework, spirit and ethos of the Southmead Project’s Equal Opportunities Policy, and actively engage in promoting the policy within the charity and in all dealings with clients and other agencies.

22. Follow the Southmead Project policies, procedures and professional code of conduct as outlined in the Staff Handbook.

23. All members of staff, paid and unpaid, are required to undergo the   enhanced level of Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL

• Full drivers licence and access to own transport.

• Professional qualification, such as a Diploma or degree in Counselling or in other relevant fields of work, such as; social work, psychology, mental health, education, support work or similar: or extensive experience in any of these fields.

• A sound understanding of the issues affecting members who have experienced trauma and abuse.

• Experience in managing projects. 

• Excellent administration and organisational skills, including experience of managing sensitive personal information.

• Experience of and confidence in using multiple computer and case management systems. 

• At least 2 years’ experience of delivering groups in the community, preferably activity based.

• At least 1 year’s experience of providing face-to-face support for survivors of abuse. 

• The ability to arrange group activities and liaise with other local organisations to help plan them. 

• The ability to plan sessions in detail to ensure that they are trauma-informed and having the experience and confidence to ‘hold’ groups when things do not go to plan.

• The ability to work flexibly within a team and support those within it. 

• Experience in managing volunteers. 

• Knowledge and awareness of how particular activities and social situations could improve people’s self-esteem, self-confidence, build friendships and reduce their isolation. 

• A sound understanding of safeguarding and experience of supporting others to act in accordance with safeguarding policies and within the best interests of the Active Recovery member or those at risk.

• Experience in managing a long-term budget.

• Knowledge of survivors’ voice work.

• To be able to attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings and monthly clinical supervision.

• To work within the framework, spirit and ethos of the Southmead Project’s Equal Opportunities Policy, and actively engage in promoting the policy within the charity and in all dealings with clients and other agencies.

DESIRABLE:

• Experience of building and maintaining positive partnerships in the community.

• Experience of running a community based project. 

• Experience of setting up processes for survivors’ voice work.

• Knowledge of making content for social media, including video recording and editing skills.

• Experience managing recruitment and training.

• Experience in chairing meetings and the ability to plan and review activities with a team.

• Experience designing outcomes processes and collecting outcomes data.

• Experience in writing reports, preferably funding reports in the charity sector.

 Please note that there must be at least 12 months between receiving support from the Southmead Project as a client/member and starting this role.

Outline of Role
As RCF enters this exciting stage, there is huge demand for our support in a wide range of global contexts, and our key challenge is to ensure we have robust institutional capacity - systems and procedures - to attract and effectively administer growing levels of investment.

The jobholder will work closely with the Co-Director (Strategy and Organisational Development) receiving support and encouragement where required. Working closely with the Finance & Resources Director, this newly created role will be a key member of UP’s Finance team, supporting the charity to successfully deliver the charity’s strategic plan. You will provide accurate financial information, robust accounting controls and support for budgeting and programme costing, helping the charity operate efficiently and sustainably.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in charity or not-for-profit finance, confident in accounting software (Xero) and with strong Excel skills. You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and able to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
