JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1.5m to £2m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.
The Head of Partnerships & Events leads a team of two currently, although this may increase. We have a Corporate Manager and Events Manger with support from the Philanthropy Officer. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective partners of Noah’s Ark. You will ensure our partners have the best possible experience, making them feel engaged and motivated, valued and informed about the impact of their involvement and help them achieve their organisation’s objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Corporate Partnerships are a key area of growth for Noah’s Ark Fundraising and is pivotal to not just income generation but also brand awareness for the work that we do. The role feeds into our Major Donor and Corporate income streams. Philanthropy & Partnerships is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further growth.
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work in close collaboration with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and build a cohesive way of working to ensure that we are maximising impact for the charity and its beneficiaries.
Purpose - The Corporate Partnerships Manager works with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, steward existing relationships, and develop a healthy corporate prospects pipeline in order to achieve agreed income targets. The role is also key in delivering our special events and campaigns in collaboration with our Special Events Manager. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign, The Winter Ball and the Noah’s Ark Golf Day – which most recently raised £1m, £400,000 and £104,000 respectively.

You will be a dedicated, organised and reliable individual. You will show determination and have an ability to read people and situations intuitively. An exceptional and eloquent communicator, excellent at managing your time and a natural relationship builder.
You will ideally have experience of account managing five and six figure partnerships as well as demonstable new business wins – and therefore, have a growth mind-set for an ambitious corporate team. You will be willing to liaise with colleagues across the fundraising team and wider charity to create the greatest outcomes for the children and families we support.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our friendly and supportive team to lead on individual giving, in memory and lottery fundraising - income streams that collectively raise over £1.5m each year. These income streams are at the centre of our new fundraising strategy, and we hope to build on our strong local reputation and loyal supporter base to grow income over the next five years, through online and offline acquisition and retention campaigns.
The successful applicant for this role will have strong experience in individual giving, but equally important is a curious, can-do attitude and a willingness to try new things and learn from mistakes. The right person will thrive in a busy environment and enjoy creating and delivering plans, events and campaigns, being both strategic and hands-on.

The Head of Supporter Engagement will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective supporters of Noah’s Ark. You will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding supporter experience—one that makes individuals feel valued, engaged, and fully informed about the impact of their donations.
This role involves developing and implementing effective strategies for donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship, while leading multi-channel communications that connect supporters with the cause. You’ll have the autonomy to innovate and bring creative flair to engagement programmes, guided by data, donor insight, and sector best practice.
You will be a dynamic, adaptable, and highly organised professional, committed to playing a key role in driving income growth. A strong communicator and proven leader, you lead by example and bring a hands-on approach to team management. With significant experience in people and programme management within Public Fundraising, you will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
- Foster a supportive, cohesive, and aspirational team culture, motivating staff to meet and exceed targets while recognising their contributions to the charity’s overall objectives and strategy.
- Effectively recruit, train, and line-manage team members, setting clear objectives and supporting their development through regular supervision, annual appraisals, and adherence to charity policies and best practices.
- Develop a comprehensive supporter stewardship strategy, supported by systematic processes, to engage existing individual givers and fundraisers—as well as new supporters—fostering long-term commitment and regular support for the charity.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance supporter retention, contributing to the design and implementation of sophisticated supporter journey processes that strengthen relationships and increase lifetime value.
- Drive substantial growth in the number of individuals donating to and fundraising for Noah’s Ark by collaborating with team members to create engaging, inspiring fundraising campaigns and events.
- Maintain a steady pipeline of new supporters by developing and promoting ongoing engagement opportunities beyond major campaigns and events.
About you:
- Experience of developing supporter engagement opportunities and stewardship journeys for tens of thousands of supporters at least
- Experience of running an Community Giving, Individual Giving programme, incorporating Legacy Giving, raising at least £0.5m per annum
- Experience of managing a team to deliver exceptional results
- Successful experience of leading direct fundraising marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social media and telephone
- Experience of highly successful relationship building with a portfolio of supporters, including through face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations

Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across North and East London, West Essex and East Herts.
