Job description

Title: Head of Corporate Development
Reports to: Director of Income Generation
Salary: £55,000 + benefits
Location: King's Cross, London
Line reports: Team of 5

You will need to be a creative and entrepreneurial leader to inspire and motivate the corporate and commercial team to increase their income in line with our five-year strategy.

Your opportunities within this role include:

  • Offering an unrivalled national corporate support package to companies who want to link into their local communities.
  • Developing new initiatives with existing corporate supporters, making the most of the commercial support and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Leading a team of five and contributing as a senior member of the fundraising leadership team. Working collaboratively with the corporate fundraisers at other hospices to link support throughout the UK, both financial and voluntary.

Using all of the above, you will develop and deliver an integrated and comprehensive strategy to build on current corporate and commercial activity.

The implementation of this plan will ensure developing our existing areas of activity but also expanding what we do to ensure an ongoing and sustainable range of income to meet ongoing targets. The role will provide commercial leadership and a strategic, coherent and collaborative linking of corporate and commercial activity with the rest of the department and the wider organisation.

Key to the success for this role is strengthening our existing partnerships, gaining new corporate supporters and growing our commercial offering.
