We are thrilled to again be partnering with a well known children's health charity to support the recruitment of a new Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition)
What’s on offer:
- A competitive Salary - £37,000 - £42,000 (Depending on experience)
- Hybrid Variable (either tied to London and / or Bristol office) or Home Based within the UK
- Full-time 35 hours per week
The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for reaching new supporters, developing and implementing engaging and innovative marketing activities that attract a range of new donors for the charity. They will use a variety of channels including digital, face-to-face and DRTV, and work with teams across the charity to ensure the impact of all activity is maximised.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies create and review plans to deliver strategies within agreed income and cost thresholds, generating sustainable year on year growth.
- Working with the finance business partner prepare financial business cases to drive the development of the supporter acquisition strategy. Make the case for new fundraising methods with clear understanding of ROI, supporter acquisition cost, and channel payback models.
- Monitor performance against budget: ensure financial targets are met, monitor any shortfalls, and take remedial action as necessary.
- Experience of Individual Giving and acquisition programmes.
- Manage agency and supplier relationships - including with creative agencies, list brokers, media buyers, fulfilment houses and external professional fundraising organisations - to deliver agreed plans and campaigns.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a really great Health Charity to find their brand new Individual Giving & Acquisitions Lead.
The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working from either of their London offices.
The Individual Giving & Acquisitions Lead is a new role in their Marketing & Communications team. The postholder will play a key role in developing and delivering the Individual Giving Programme to drive income growth, engage new audiences and retain existing supporters. This role would suit a candidate looking to harness their skill set in direct marketing and use their ability to create new fundraising products to set up an Individual Giving Programme from scratch, with support from the Head of Marketing & Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead on creating and implementing a strategy to support the development of a new Individual Giving and Acquisition Programme in collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Communications.
· Plan, develop and implement a range of direct marketing campaigns to support the acquisition of new donors and the retention of existing supporters, ensuring that all campaigns are managed effectively and delivered on time and within budget.
· Deliver personalised and tailored content to increase engagement with existing and new supporters.
· Enhance supporter journeys by using data insights to develop segmentation and improve targeting for IG activities.
· To effectively manage the end-to-end creative process from inception to execution of direct marketing campaigns.
· Working with the database manager, report on post-campaign data analysis to evaluate effectiveness and understand ROI.
· Working with the Head of Marketing & Communications to deliver an excellent supporter experience across all communications and fundraising activity, working with colleagues to ensure consistency with other fundraising programmes.
· Brief, monitor and manage internal stakeholders’ relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects, maximising opportunities to cross sell across all audiences.
Person Specification:
· Proven track record of DM campaign management experience.
· Proficient experience of working with data selections, segmentation and campaign analysis.
· Significant experience in managing the end-to-end creative process and proven success in donor acquisition and retentions.
· Experience in designing and delivering supporter journeys for a variety of audiences.
· Experience of delivering excellent results within agreed budgets and on schedule.

We are looking for an interim Individual Giving Membership Manager for an incredible health charity, for a fixed term 12 month maternity contract, ideally to start in July.
This is a hybrid role with with once a week in the Southwest office.

The Role
In this exciting role, you'll optimise and develop our supporter and member retention programmes.
Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you'll retain, reactivate and develop individual supporters and members, ensuring they have the best experience, maximising their lifetime value.
You'll work closely with the Acquisition Manager as required and will manage the Supporter Engagement team.
Develop and deliver the annual individual giving programme, including supporter appeals, the weekly lottery, reactivation, upgrade, and cross-selling activities.
Manage the membership programme, maintaining and building the base through stewardship and conversion activity.
Develop the annual business plans and budgets for individual giving, membership, legacy marketing, and retail.
The Candidate
Experience of leading and developing a team.
Experience of developing and delivering a cross-channel direct marketing programme, ideally within a charity or membership organisation.
Firsthand experience of managing customer/ supporter, development, and retention campaigns.
Experience of managing budgets and developing annual plans.
