As a key member of JW3's Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will lead, manage and motivate the small but mighty JW3 Development fundraising team, currently including: Head of Philanthropy, Trust & Foundations Manager, Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, and Fundraising Coordinator. You will work closely with the CEO, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Trustees, to accelerate the growth of fundraising across a diversified range of income streams to achieve long-term, sustainable income growth.

The Brompton Fountain is the children’s charity at Royal Brompton Hospital - a world leading specialist centre for complex heart and lung disease. We work in partnership with the teams on the wards, paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and in outpatient clinics. Our charity provides support and resources for patients, families and staff, as well as funding lifesaving medical equipment, accommodation - so that parents can stay close to their child during an admission, toys and entertainment for the playroom and improvements to the facilities to create the best possible environment for families to promote their wellbeing during what can often be a very challenging time. In collaboration with the hospital trust and the NHS we also fund research projects and develop new initiatives for babies, children and young people with heart and lung conditions.

Main Duties and Responsilbilties 

Community and Events Fundraising

• Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, including challenge events and community initiatives.

• Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities.

• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and build strong relationships for future collaboration.

• Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partners, such as (small) businesses, schools, and clubs, promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.

• Lead on generating income through supermarket schemes. • To represent the charity when required in schools, engagement events and cheque presentations. 

Individual Giving

• Manage the regular giving programme by implementing a rolling 12-month plan of meaningful touchpoints to deepen relationships.

• Develop and implement a plan to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors with personalised cultivation and stewardship.

• Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (giving at lower to mid-level) by prompt thanking, excellent stewardship and building effective donor journeys.

Supporter Care

• Serve as the primary point of contact for community and events fundraisers, delivering outstanding stewardship ensuring they receive the information and support needed to maximise their fundraising potential while maintaining the highest standards of stewardship and being respectful of potential sensitivities particularly when working with families who are fundraising in memory.

• Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.

• Maintain our CRM database ensuring accurate records to track communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws. 

Administrative and Financial Support

• Process cash and cheque donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately on our database.

• Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets.

• Overseeing our online shop.

Marketing and Communication

• Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc), social media content and e-newsletters to inspire participation in fundraising activities.

• Produce impact reports and collate information for the HOF to support fundraising initiatives and grant applications.

• Ensure fundraising and associated webpages are kept up to date. Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the wider team (when required) to support in-hospital and community events as well as assisting with tasks as needed to ensure smooth charity operations.

• Support the CEO and team members with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives.

• Any other duties as required by the Head of Fundraising.

Additional Information

Salary is £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE). The role covers 37.5 hours per week. Two days per week working in our charity office at Royal Brompton Hospital - London, and the remaining hours to be worked remotely. Occasional evening and weekend work subject to our events calendar. One-year fixed term contract with the potential to extend contract length subject to performance and funding.

A full driving licence or the ability to travel to events and meetings within London and the South East is essential.

Overall purpose of the role
As part of a multi-faceted and busy fundraising team, the Events Product Development Lead will take a significant role in strategically planning and delivering a portfolio of new fundraising events to raise funds for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charities. This role will support the strategic development and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events aimed at increasing income and diversifying our funding base. You’ll collaborate with teams from all corners of the partnership to test and scale the best ideas. The focus of this role is our virtual and owned events portfolio. This is a strategically significant growth area for the GST Charities and is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. Fundraising Innovation is part of the wider strategy across GST Charities. Whilst we are in the early stages of embedding innovation across the organisation, you will be part of a growing culture that will help shape, adapt and develop the organisation in the ever changing, fast paced world environment we work in.

Key Responsibilities

· Innovate and develop new supporter led products in collaboration with the Senior Events Manager and Head of Strategy & Innovation, with a focus on virtual events and owned events, along with any other opportunities within this space.
· Oversee product delivery from planning to evaluation, collaborating with experts internally and externally, attending events, and representing GST Charities positively. 
· Utilise insights, ensuring data-driven decisions and staying informed on trends for continuous improvement. 
· Drive income growth, develop budgets, and monitor financial performance. · Provide thorough analysis of products and events, ensuring that all relevant teams are regularly updated on all activity (coordinating information, reporting cross-team, etc.) and providing a clear strategy for the year ahead. 
· To work closely across the charities directorate with enabling teams to ensure all opportunities for collaboration are maximised.

· To contribute to the wider fundraising team, taking a proactive approach to working in a high performing & collaborative team
· To establish, maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders across our organisation and beyond, including agencies and contractors.
· To seek out innovative and agile approaches to working, adopting lean process and using supporter data to drive performance and supporter experience.

Work environment
· The post holder should expect to: 

o Work in a hybrid hot desk environment, generally working 2 days a week in the London office and three from home. 
o Be responsible for the input and maintenance of databases and files relevant to the post requirements. 
o Will occasionally be required to attend events in the evening and at weekends.

Experience
· Experience of driving projects and/or teams to deliver agreed outcomes to a deadline

The Partnerships Executive plays a key role in giving people around the world the chance to read, learn and grow. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Team of a dynamic and growing children’s charity as Finance Assistant. 

Our mission is to bring hope and positive change to children and families.  To achieve this we deliver a range of services.  The Catholic Children’s Society (CCS) is one of the largest providers of mental health services to schools in London.  Currently we have over 50 counsellors/therapists working on-site in approximately 70 schools (both Catholic non-Catholic).  We also provide high quality early years education and family support, including offering emergency assistance for families in crisis.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our vibrant and friendly finance team.  You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the transactional processing of all expenditure and payments, making sure that the correct authorisations have been provided. Elders Voice is a charity supporting older people in the London Borough of Brent. Our mission is to enable older people to live safely and independently in the homes of their choosing and lead happier and healthier lives. The Role

We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

Key Functional Areas

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
• Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
• Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.
• Information Governance and Data Protection - Ensuring data is kept up to date and added in the correct formats and standards. Leading on data compliance and legalisation for the charity

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.
