Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are recruiting for a Communications Officer who will coordinate our internal, Network-wide, and external communications. Ensuring excellent communications across the staff team, and the effective promotion of its work.

You will be a highly motivated communications specialist with a proven track record of internal and external communications. You will have excellent planning and prioritisation skills to ensure timely delivery of tasks, along with prior proven experience managing social media channels that results in an impact of campaigns and engagement. 

Key Tasks

• To create content and coordinate internal communications across the Network staff team, ensuring the effective development and implementation of appropriate channels 
• To develop and maintain a communications content calendar when and how the Network’s activity will be effectively communicated
• To coordinate communications across the wider Network, including PTCs, Regional Hubs, and partners, including through the production and dissemination of a regular digital newsletter 
• To develop, post and oversee content for the Network’s social media channels to promote the effectiveness of the Network’s approach and the impact of PTCs and commissioners 
• To establish and maintain appropriate media links to ensure that the reality of poverty, and the impact of commissioners in seeking to alleviate it, is effectively shared
• To support the Network’s parliamentary engagement and its national programmes to ensure that its work is shared impactfully 
• To provide an appropriate level of support to PTCs as they develop their social media and engage with the media appropriately
• To undertake other appropriate duties as requested by the Operations Manager

CRM and Customer Data Lead

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated CRM and Customer Data Lead to join the Data Services Team.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the CRM and Customer Data Lead will ensure that the charity get the most out of the CRM data so that it can deliver insight driven selections and segmentations for the whole organisation, supporting and collaborating with colleagues to reach and engage with customers in a compliant and customer-centred way.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversight and continuous improvement of CRM data.
• Selection analysis and visualisations that support product owners to have a deeper understanding of our customers.
• Lead on increasing the utilisation of selection and marketing automation products such as Apteco Faststats and Peoplestage to automate customer journeys.
• Oversight and continuous improvement of Third party and Internal Data imports and exports with a focus on increasing the knowledge and utilisation of the organisations ETL tools such as Blender to provide business continuity and consistent, clean data quality.

• Managing, developing and using a CRM database to meet organisation needs.
• Change management projects to support an organisation in better use of data and insight.

Founded in 1989, the mission of Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) is to support Indigenous Peoples and other communities of the world’s rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfil their rights to land, life and livelihood.  Locally, it supports forest communities to gain land rights, challenge destructive industries, manage their forests and protect their environment. Globally, it campaigns to influence laws and policies that protect rainforests and their inhabitants. 

The DRC Fieldwork Coordinator role sits within RFUK’s largest Programmes team: Land & Livelihoods. A central aspect of the L&L team’s work is supporting communities to establish and manage community forests as well as working at the national and policy levels to achieve wider impact. This role will be pivotal to a new phase of community forest expansion in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is being supported by the Rainforest Trust. In partnership with five local organisations, the role will contribute to the objective of expanding community forests in two highly biodiverse landscapes: the periphery of the Maïko National Park in North Kivu province and the area surrounding the Salonga National Park in Maï Ndombe province. 

The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years’ experience of project management support in a charity or international development context, as well as 3 years’ of experience in supporting community land use planning and livelihoods initiatives in rural contexts. The Digital Media Officer role provides support to Crimestoppers and Crimestoppers’ youth service Fearless, in creating impactful content and campaigns that empower people to speak up about crime.

We are looking for a relationship-driven Fundraising Manager to secure, steward, and grow funding partnerships across trusts and foundations, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).

You will play a key role in unlocking income growth through strong relationship management, compelling bid and proposal writing, and strategic prospect research. While managing your own portfolio of funders, you will also support senior fundraisers to progress high-value partnerships, developing your skills and confidence as you grow your own partnerships.

Your role will focus on:

• Developing and managing partnerships across corporate, trust and foundation, and individual giving audiences.

• Securing new funding opportunities and supporting income growth, working closely with the fundraising and marcoms team.

• Leading engagement activities including funder and prospecting events and  funder experiences.

• Ensuring strong reporting and impact measurement for our funders.

• Drafting compelling applications that forge an emotional connection and securing financial support to transform the lives of our beneficiaries.

• Representing Hatch externally to deepen relationships with funding and strategic partners, securing long-term commitments and increasing brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage partnerships - Steward a portfolio of trusts, corporates, and individual donors, ensuring consistent communication, timely reporting,  and strong funder retention.

• Lead on bid and application writing - Write tailored and compelling funding applications, proposals, and case materials for grant-giving bodies, corporates, and HNWIs.

• Support senior fundraisers across the team - Assist colleagues working on major partnerships by providing background research, preparing proposals and meeting materials, and helping to coordinate follow-up actions.

• Provide regular updates and comms to funders - Ensure all funders receive timely, engaging updates on programme delivery, impact and outcomes, maintaining trust and strengthening long-term relationships.

• Identify and qualify new prospects - Proactively research and assess new funding opportunities. Bring warm leads into the pipeline and contribute insight to support strategic alignment.

• Respond to inbound funding enquiries - Manage and convert lower-level inbound opportunities, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses that align with Hatch’s offer and impact areas.

• Maintain accurate CRM records and support reporting - Keep the fundraising pipeline up to date in Salesforce and Monday. Track deadlines, ensure data accuracy, and support internal reporting and team coordination.

• Coordinate cross-team collaboration - Work with Programmes and Marcoms teams to gather inputs for applications and reports, prepare for funder meetings, and ensure aligned messaging.

• Use data and storytelling to showcase impact - Contribute to the development of reports, updates, and communications that clearly demonstrate Hatch’s value and the impact of our work with funders.

Person specification

We are looking for a relationship-driven fundraiser who can grow and manage a funder portfolio, write compelling funding bids, deliver employee engagement and volunteering opportunities, and support wider team success. You’ll need to be confident working across income streams and motivated by social impact.

Essential skills and experience:

• Excellent relationship management skills, with experience stewarding funders or clients

• Strong bid and proposal writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling content

• Proven ability to research, assess, and qualify new prospects

• Ability to provide timely, well-crafted funder communications and updates

• Experience in creating and delivering funder volunteering and engagement activities.

• Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines

• Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining records and reporting

• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills

• A collaborative approach and willingness to work cross-functionally

Desirable skills and experience:

We are looking for a new Office Manager to organise and coordinate administration duties and office procedures in the charity. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. You will be experienced with a variety of office software (such as email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

As the central point of contact for everyone within our charity you will have an overview of many different things, an impeccable working knowledge of the charity and its aims, and will “pitch in” wherever necessary to ensure the charity operates smoothly.

Essential Skills

§  Line management of key administrative staff.

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools.
