The role
As Philanthropy Manager, you will shape our philanthropic strategy, develop a new prospect pipeline and secure long-term support from individuals, family foundations, and wealth intermediaries.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, to identify funding priorities and opportunities for donors. You’ll ensure we develop and deliver a long-term philanthropy strategy, building and managing relationships with wealth managers, private client advisers and networks that can introduce and connect donors to Family Fund.
You will accurately record prospect and donor activity on our CRM system, maintaining clear pipelines and forecasts, and producing high-quality reports to monitor progress and impact.

You will be a brilliant communicator, able to influence and inspire, representing Family Fund externally as a compelling ambassador for our work. You will be results driven with a solid track record securing major gifts from donors and demonstrable success in building new relationships. This is a pivotal leadership role at a time of strategic change and opportunity. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

The Role

- Manage our portfolio of events: We have an emerging trend in challenge events, and we manage these carefully and mindfully especially long-distance sporting events. This requires key insights in trends and work with our marketing team on key insights.

- Senior Leadership Team: You will be an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, which means working across the whole charity on tasks that may pop up, and planning with the team our Organisational Development.
Qualifications:

The Fundraising and Grants Officer will support and coordinate the effective delivery of First Steps ED’s fundraising activities in line with our charity strategy. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising
i. Work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders to capture and understand requirements, identify new opportunities or build on existing activity to help achieve income targets.
ii. To data input and maintain events in line with current practices.
iii. To help find volunteers to attend events.
iv. To send out and organise fundraising merchandise and materials for Cinnamon Trust and volunteer events.
v. Handle general telephone and personal enquiries regarding fundraising and events.
vi. Undertake any other reasonable and related tasks, as required by the Marketing and Fundraising team .
vii Have a good working knowledge of charity legislation and work to the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Practice and Fundraising Standards.
vii. To liaise with, and assist other members of the fundraising team.
Events
i. To be available to attend major events for The Cinnamon Trust, making sure that all holidays are worked round our events diary.
ii. To drive The Cinnamon Trust van and trailer to events.
iii. To promote The Trust at events and always present a positive and professional image.
iv. To make sure the appearance of the stand is always presentable.
v. To manage volunteers at an event and give a briefing at the beginning of the day regarding objectives.
vi To seek any permissions required for an event and complete risk assessments required.
vii To make sure that furniture and other equipment is available at each event.
viii To make sure all materials for an event are event appropriate (eg: could be a volunteer driven event or PP) and well stocked.
ix To account for stock and merchandise for each event and fill out request forms that will be logged against each event.
x. To make sure that any cash taken at an event is kept safe.
xi. To liaise with the PR and Marketing department regarding events and to supply photos and copy for their use. To work with the PR and Marketing team regarding fundraising campaigns and promotions.
