The aim of this role is to increase awareness of and engagement with the Enterprise Directorate’s activities, with a particular focus on the Academy’s regional Hub portfolio, which includes programme and ecosystem engagement.
You will be required to develop marketing plans and materials, tailor outreach to regional audiences, and identify and amplify stories and case studies from the Academy’s regional hubs in partnership with the wider communications and engagement directorate.

Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline for office-based working of a mandatory weekly team day plus further days each week as required for the role and the Academy.

The Financial Accounting & Control Manager will report into the Head of Central Finance and lead a team of four, overseeing primary ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts production, tax compliance, and treasury management. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness and technical compliance across financial processes, while providing high-quality financial advice and guidance to colleagues across the organisation.

The key duties of this Financial Accounting & Control Manager will be:
- Lead the production of consolidated statutory accounts for NSPCC and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with SORP and accounting standards.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce internal financial controls to ensure integrity of ledger and reporting.
- Manage VAT, direct tax, and corporate tax compliance, including planning, returns, and negotiations with HMRC.
- Oversee cash flow monitoring and treasury management, including investment and banking relationships.
- Critically evaluate and improve financial processes, documenting procedures and ensuring adherence across the team.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Lead and develop a team of Financial Accountants and Finance Officers, ensuring workload management and staff development.
The successful candidate will have:
- A CCAB-qualified accountancy qualification with experience in a complex financial environment.
- Experience producing consolidated statutory accounts and managing external audits, ideally within the charity sector.
- Proven experience in implementing, documenting, and enforcing financial controls.
- Experience managing, developing, and motivating a small team.

The Purpose of the Role
IRC’s External Relations (ER) department brings together Fundraising, Communications and Policy & Advocacy functions. With the aim to raise money, awareness and influence for crisis-affected populations worldwide, the department combines knowledge and expertise across multiple national markets.
The IRC fundraising teams are comprised of colleagues and teams working in the USA, UK, Germany, Sweden and Korea as well as emerging markets delivering direct marketing, content, account management, philanthropy, board liaison, corporate as well as trust and foundation partnerships to support IRC’s national fundraising strategies.
The IRC’s private fundraising capability in the UK has grown significantly over the past five years. Ambitious growth plans are in place to deliver increasing income from the private sector as part of an exciting global External Relations strategy.
The Director of UK Mass Markets is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Mass Markets team in the UK and for securing long-term sustainable income for the IRC through individual donor acquisition, retention and supporter care. You will lead and develop a high-performing team by growing mass marketing audiences and income, developing exciting and targeted campaigns, identifying opportunities for product, channel and audience diversification, and championing UX and a supporter centric fundraising model. The Director will also serve as a key partner to the UK Executive Director as they facilitate cross-team collaboration, accountability and success among all private fundraising teams in the UK (Philanthropy, Global Corporate Partnerships, Foundations & Trusts and Mass Markets). The Director will play a leadership role in IRC UK more widely as a member of the UK Senior Management Team (UKSMT). The UKSMT is collectively responsible for achieving the cross-functional goals of IRC UK’s strategy and actively fostering an inclusive workplace at IRC UK.

Key Accountabilities
· Aligned to the overall Global External Relations Strategy, develop, implement, monitor and report on IRC UK’s fundraising and supporter engagement strategy.
· Lead fundraising campaigns (acquisition, retention, mid-level) that deliver unrestricted income to enable IRC’s work. Channels include e-mail, direct mail, inserts, Facebook advertising, new forms of social media, and adwords, as well as telemarketing etc.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

The Role
We are seeking a proactive, confident, and relationship-driven Partnerships & Growth Officer to contribute to Bridging the Bar’s external income and growth activities. This is a highly client-facing role that involves engaging with chambers, organisations, major sponsors, donors, grant funders, and other external stakeholders to secure financial support for BTB’s mission and programmes. As the cycle progresses, you will be responsible for outreach and renewals, onboarding, benefit delivery, and ongoing relationship management.

We are looking for an experienced Events Fundraiser to join our small but dynamic fundraising team. The role will be responsible for promoting and managing a mix of third party challenge events and bespoke events whilst providing excellent stewardship to our event fundraisers.
Working with the Public Fundraising Manager, the post holder will implement a 5-year action plan to increase income, develop effective stewardship journeys and deliver a varied and successful events calendar.
About you
You will need:
- Experience of managing challenge events for a Charity
- Experience of managing campaign/activity budgets of approx. £40k per year
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage workload to hit deadlines

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Grants & Funding
To identify & secure grants to support our core support provision.
· Researching, identifying & pursuing grants & funding opportunities.
· Leading in the preparation & submission of high-quality small grant, bids, proposals & funding applications.
· Offering support with the preparation & submitting of high-quality large grant, bids, proposals & funding applications.
· Supporting the development of grant reports, impact summaries, outcome reporting & funder communications.
Business Development & Trading Income
To increase our support offering & trading/unrestricted income to enhance sustainability & meet the needs of women subjected to sexual violence & abuse.
· The development, implementation & management of new & existing services, products & resources.
· To identify strategies, opportunities & ideas for growth, greater social impact, income generation & income diversification.
· Exploration of new revenue models & earned-income opportunities.
· To lead on projects associated with trading income generation & diversification.
Partnerships & Communications
To enhance our partnership working & communications to nurture supportive relationships in our community.
· Establishing, developing, maintaining & cultivating strong partnership working with individuals & organisations that support our work (including educational institutions, corporates, non-profits & other organisations).
· Nurturing partnerships to raise awareness of our work & enhance associated income opportunities.
· Developing partnership models, value propositions & partnership packages tailored to prospective supporters that facilitate support delivery, community engagement & organisational growth.
· Supporting co-design initiatives where appropriate with partners & beneficiaries.
· Supporting with marketing & communications tailored across platforms to our supporters & partners.
· Supporting with strategic marketing, communications & social media activities.
General
· Contributing towards creative idea exploration surrounding the growth & expansion of GINA, services, products & resources.
· Monitoring trends in the non-profit sector funding landscape including philanthropic shifts, corporate social responsibility & community needs.
· Collaborating & supporting with the line management of relevant volunteer teams to support with the above activities.
· Ensuring lived experience remains centred within all activities & continuously exploring opportunities for involvement & infusion of lived experience.
· Representing GINA at events (occasional travel)
· Undertaking any other duties as required by GINA (including, but not limited to operational & administrative tasks).
