· You will be the first point of contact for the Toy Appeal, responding to enquires from organisations wishing to take part in the appeal, and internal colleagues receiving gifts.
What’s it like working with us?
This role sits within our small but high achieving fundraising team which was Shortlisted for Fundraising Team of the Year 2021 at the Third Sector Awards. The Team sits within our Directorate of Development and External Affairs, alongside our communications and brand, digital, business development and impact and influencing teams. Our role is to raise voluntary and some statutory funding for Family Action.
In the case of corporate, community and events fundraising, this means a mix of restricted and unrestricted funding. The team is well supported in our work by the Senior Leadership Group and Executive Group (Directors). The Corporate Partnerships team, comprising this role, three Corporate Partnerships Managers, Fundraising Administrator and the Head of Corporate Partnerships. The team works closely with colleagues across brand, communications and digital, with activity integrated into organisation-wide Christmas campaign.

Meridian Wellbeing are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Lead to create marketing plans and to implement its development strategies across the organisation to support the digital delivery platform and physical activities for its wellbeing services. The Role
The Marketing and Communications Lead will be responsible for the development of an effective marketing strategy to encourage participation and utilisation of digital platforms in the community to improve their wellbeing. About the role
This is an exciting new post in the Communications Team at Glass Door. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role will support the delivery of a new paid & organic digital marketing strategy, working closely & collaboratively with both the Comms & Fundraising Teams, as well as co-lead on the delivery of a new website.

Being Head of Fundraising at Heart of Kent Hospice
As Head of Fundraising, you’ll be heading up an incredible team of 6 dedicated fundraising staff who, along with the support of our volunteers, work tirelessly to support our Hospice. Their dedication to, and care for, our supporters generates over £1.8 million annually, which is vital for funding our care.
This role is a hands-on, doing role, responsible for the day-to-day running of the fundraising function at the Hospice. The fundraising portfolio is both varied and diverse and the Head of Fundraising will be in amongst the team, overseeing the delivery and focusing on achieving and exceeding budget.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, as Media and Campaigns Manager you will create campaigns, partnerships and content that have innovation at their heart and support the organisation's advocacy goals. What the job involves
As Communications Planning Manager you’ll be reviewing all incoming internal communications briefs, ensuring they have clear objectives, audiences, and timelines, and are aligned to organisational priorities and goals. You’ll be responsible for leading as well as updating, when necessary, our briefing and communications team process.
You’ll be responsible for workflows across the communications directorate, having oversight of capacity, prioritising and scheduling work accordingly. You’ll support annual business and resource planning; helping the organisation prioritise and understand the potential impact vs effort in business decisions.
To ensure our teams can work at their optimum we’re currently updating our approach to communications processes, including updating our project management tools, prioritisation structure and our wider programme management office.
What we want from you
To be successful in the role you’ll need to have exceptional organisational skills and be a strategic thinker who thrives on implementing and driving new processes to deliver efficiency.
You’ll have demonstrable experience with stakeholder and relationship management – building rapport at all levels, managing conflicting priorities and ensuring effective use of resources. In reviewing briefs you’ll be comfortable in challenging the details provided and developing briefs with product owners to ensure resources are being used effectively.
A background in marketing communications or similar would be ideal for understanding the needs from the start in developing effective campaigns. Experience in using workflow tools (like Trello) or Agile methodologies will be desirable but not essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Head of Digital to join our Brand and Marketing Communications team on a 12 month maternity contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a newly formed digital responsible for both digital experience and digital engagement.

We have several existing high value partnerships including with Barclays, NewDay and Poundland Foundation. For new business opportunity, our broad range of services allows alignment with partners across many sectors. Main Responsibilities:
- Leading the team in planning and delivering new business activity, drawing on business need, our organisation strategy, sector trends, meeting agreed annual income targets.
- Ensuring account management of all corporate partnerships is delivered with skill and diligence. Leading the team in maximising the impact of partnerships through outstanding relationship management.
- Embedding corporate partnerships in the strategic development of the organization, promoting and advocating for current and prospective partners in strategic discussions at Family Action. Integrating and aligning corporate partnerships activity with wider organisational priorities.
- Proactive and supportive line management of the corporate partnerships team, which currently comprises 3 x Corporate Partnerships Managers, 1 x Fundraising Officer and the Toy Appeal Temporary Assistant (Christmas)
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
- A proven fundraising leader with an in-depth understanding of and experience of working on a wide variety of corporate partnerships
- Demonstrable experience of successful new business work, securing 6 and/or 7 figure opportunities.
- Extensive account management experience, ideally across a range of sectors
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak confidently both formally and informally to a range of audiences as well as strong writing skills.
- A commitment to social justice and a passion for helping families to thrive.
