More about the role:  As Head of Farm, you will lead the delivery of our programme at Jamie’s Farm Hereford, working alongside and managing a values-driven team to deliver an impactful programme. Your responsibilities will include leading up to four visits per month, ensuring the smooth delivery of residential visits, representing Jamie’s Farm with partner organisations, funders, volunteers and other stakeholders; and fostering a culture of empowerment and collaboration within the team. You will help achieve key performance goals including high visitor retention and staff satisfaction rates, while also leading professional development and team-building activities for your team.

You will participate in all aspects of farm life - leading walks, guiding young people through meaningful output-based jobs like gardening or log chopping, and creating meaningful connections during shared meals and evening programmes. You will also contribute to broader Jamie’s Farm strategy as a key member of the Leadership team.

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the delivery of TLC: Talk, Listen, Change’s charitable income generation and fundraising function, driving sustainable income growth through a diverse portfolio of opportunities including commissioning, grant applications, charitable trusts and foundations and fundraising activity. The Head of Development will carry out a mixed role, primarily consisting of informing the strategy, supervising the team and supporting them to secure income - while also directly creating some high-value / high-stakes submissions themselves. The role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the organisation’s growth ambitions, ensuring a strong and balanced pipeline across statutory, commissioned and voluntary income streams. As part of TLC’s Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will act as a senior advisor on charitable income generation opportunities and contribute to the wider strategic direction of the organisation. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Contribution

•  Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team of TLC: Talk, Listen, Change, contributing to organisational strategy, growth and long-term sustainability.
• Work alongside the Group Director of Partnerships and Development and other senior leaders to shape and deliver TLC’s development and charitable income generation strategy.
• Act as a senior advisor on development, funding and growth of charitable income sources for the organisation.
• Take a lead role in fostering a culture of ambition, collaboration and continuous improvement. 

Development and Income Generation

• Lead the team to deliver focused and successful development activity across TLC, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline of opportunities across: Tenders / commissioning (including pre-market engagement such as soft market testing, actual submissions including PQQs, ITTs, framework applications and presentations / interviews) Charitable trusts and foundations, Grants, Fundraising, Corporate relationships
• Work closely with our: Group Head of Marketing and Communications to create and run exciting, engaging campaigns and projects which grow awareness of and support for TLC, ultimately leading to increased income, Director of Finance To ensure budgets are accurate and bids appropriately costed, Director and Heads of Services To ensure we can deliver safely, securely and effectively,  Director of Partnerships and Development To ensure strategic alignment and relationships.
• Ensure a detailed understanding of all tender specifications including a thorough assessment of the implications and requirements of TLC within each opportunity.
• Ensure all submissions are high quality, aligned to TLC values and priorities.
• Work closely with service leads and partnerships colleagues to identify, scope and develop new opportunities. 

Leadership and Management

• Provide strong leadership to the Development team, including line management of Development Managers.
• Support a high-performing, collaborative team culture aligned to TLC behaviours and values.
• Ensure effective performance management, supervision, and development of staff (including one-to-ones, appraisals and team meetings).

Performance, Planning and Delivery

• Lead the development and delivery of a clear development plan aligned to organisational strategy.
• Monitor and report on development and fundraising performance, ensuring a data informed approach to decision-making.
• Provide delegated budget management for development and fundraising activity.
• Ensure smooth transition from development activity to service mobilisation, working closely with operational teams.

External Relationships and Profile

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders and partners with regard to charitable income generation opportunities.
• Represent TLC at external forums, networks and events, contributing to sector influence and profile. Governance and Ways of Working
• Ensure all development and fundraising activity aligns with TLC policies, values and ethical frameworks.
• Contribute to organisational planning cycles, board reporting and strategic development processes.

Therapeutic Management

• To manage and support a staff team, including the Head of Active Recovery, a Counselling Lead, Nexus Counselling Manager, a Family Support Group Facilitator, and administrators.

• To oversee all of the charity’s therapeutic services and ensure that efficient and high-quality services are delivered.

• To be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead to respond effectively and efficiently to safeguarding concerns.

• To ensure staff are sufficiently trained in adult and child safeguarding and that training records are kept up-to-date.

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL:

• Diploma in Counselling (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited course or equivalent); and to have BACP accreditation or be working towards BACP accreditation or equivalent.

• To be a registered member of BACP, UKCP, NCS or equivalent professional body, with over 5 years of supervised counselling experience.

• Significant experience of providing one-to-one counselling for survivors of abuse and carrying out initial assessments and risk assessments.

• Significant knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting this client group and the impact of trauma.

• Significant line management and appraisal experience with the ability to effectively co-ordinate a team. 

• The ability to support staff to foster a positive working environment and deliver a high quality of service.

• Experience of recruiting staff, including inductions and training.

• Experience of managing safeguarding concerns and supporting others to act in accordance with safeguarding policies and in the best interests of the client or those at risk. 

• The ability to work with clients online or by phone.

• Experience of working collaboratively as part of a leadership team and ability to contribute to an organisation’s future development.

• Experience of developing and maintaining working relationships with partner agencies and professionals. 

• Excellent organisational and planning skills.

What the job involves
This is a brilliant opportunity to lead our Data and Evidence Team on an interim basis while the postholder is on parental leave. You’ll help us understand and use the evidence that shapes our work, from clinical and real-world data to screening, Black health equity and wider health improvement priorities.

Working closely with teams across the charity, you’ll turn complex evidence into clear insight that supports our strategy, communications and programme delivery. Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

About the Role

The Head of Community Services is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational, and clinical delivery of Nottinghamshire Hospice’s community-based services. As a key member of the Hospice Leadership Team, you will provide visible and inspiring leadership, driving excellence in care delivery, service performance, and workforce development. You will lead and develop our Hospice in Your Home (24-hour service) and Wellbeing Day Services, ensuring they are responsive, sustainable, and patient-centred. About the role:

You will lead Advance’s frontline domestic abuse and VAWG services ensuring they are safe, effective, high quality and aligned with our strategic aims. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will work closely with the CEO, Directors, Trustees and senior managers to shape service strategy, strengthen quality systems and ensure excellent outcomes for women and children.

You will provide confident strategic and operational leadership, manage complex stakeholder relationships, support governance and reporting and ensure services are financially sustainable, contract compliant and responsive to the needs of women and children.

About You:

We are looking for a senior manager with a proven track record of leading services for women experiencing violence and abuse, women in contact with the criminal justice system, or similar social care or social justice services. You will bring strong strategic judgement, confident operational oversight and the ability to lead with clarity, compassion and resilience.

You will have:

• Strong knowledge of domestic abuse, VAWG, safeguarding and the wider issues affecting women and children with complex needs.
• Significant experience of strategic leadership, service management and team development.
• A sound knowledge of safeguarding adults and child protection issues.
• Experience managing budgets, partnerships, contracts, outcomes and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• The confidence to work under pressure, manage complexity and inspire teams through change.

Job Purpose

The Head of Finance will lead and develop the finance function across Health Exchange and Living Well Taking Control, ensuring robust financial management, effective governance and long-term financial sustainability.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the postholder will work closely with the Chief Executive, Director of Operations, Head of Growth, Service leads and Trustees to provide financial insight, planning and analysis that supports strategic decision-making, organisational development and future sustainability.

This role combines leadership with operational oversight and offers an opportunity to play a central role in shaping the future direction of two ambitious organisations committed to improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities.

Key Responsibilities

I. Strategic Financial Leadership

Lead the development of medium and long-term financial plans that align with organisational priorities and strategic objectives, providing high-quality financial advice and insight to the Chief Executive, Senior Management Team, Board of Trustees and relevant committees. Support strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis, forecasting and scenario planning, identifying financial risks and opportunities and making recommendations to strengthen organisational sustainability. Contribute proactively to organisational transformation, continuous improvement and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across Health Exchange and Living Well Taking Control.

II. Financial Management and Reporting

Lead all aspects of financial management across Health Exchange and Living Well Taking Control, ensuring the production of timely and accurate management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis. Work collaboratively with budget holders and senior managers to develop and manage annual budgets and reforecasts, while monitoring financial performance, cash flow and reserves to ensure robust financial controls are maintained. Oversee payroll, pensions and financial administration, and lead procurement activity and value-for-money initiatives that support the effective and efficient use of organisational resources.

III. Business Partnering and Strategic Support

Work closely with the Chief Executive, Director of Operations and Head of Growth to assess the financial viability of new opportunities, partnerships and service developments, providing robust costing, pricing and financial modelling to support bids, tenders and contract negotiations. Support the mobilisation, delivery and performance monitoring of contracts through high-quality financial reporting and analysis, while developing business cases and investment appraisals to inform strategic decision-making. Ensure effective financial governance, transparency and appropriate financial arrangements across Health Exchange and Living Well Taking Control, supporting the efficient operation of both organisations.

IV. Governance, Audit and Compliance

Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, lead the preparation of annual accounts and external audits, and act as the main point of contact for auditors and professional advisers. Maintain effective financial controls, policies and governance arrangements, oversee organisational risk and asset registers, and support the Board of Trustees and Audit & Risk Committee in fulfilling their responsibilities.

V. Systems and Continuous Improvement

Lead the development and continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and reporting tools, maximising the use of technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy and management information. Lead, motivate and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing and supportive culture, while contributing positively to the Senior Management Team and promoting organisational values of collaboration, integrity, accountability and inclusion. Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen performance and effectiveness across both organisations.

Scope of role

The Interim Director of Advice Services is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all Advice Services delivered by Toynbee Hall.

About the role

The People Services and Volunteers Partner is responsible for delivering an efficient, responsive and people-centred service across the full employee and volunteer lifecycle. The role acts as a key first point of contact for managers, staff and volunteers, ensuring high-quality administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, record-keeping and people support.

Main duties

People Services Operations

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day People Services queries from staff, volunteers and managers, providing advice and guidance
