The post holder will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, processing income types including membership fees, grants and donations. Duties will also include being responsible for handling invoicing and banking procedures maintaining strict financial controls whilst also demonstrating exceptional customer service.

You will have proven financial experience preferably having worked within a charitable setting focusing on sales ledger management. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and financial software are also essential requirements of the postholder together with effective communication skills when liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Team Leader to join our Mental Health service in Newham.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the contract manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Could include some evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required

What you'll do:

Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
Deliver effective supervision and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisations succession plans
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch

What we’re looking for:

• Someone to develop and manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations and grant makers with the capacity to give 5 and 6 figure grants to fund our work across the UK.
• Someone who can research and write compelling and creative applications for a range of projects, such as our support services in units/wards based in hospitals across the UK.
• Someone who has experience in developing and implementing effective stewardship plans to build strong and long-term high value relationships.
• Someone who can work collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure efficient and effective information gathering to write insightful impact reports for funders.
