About the Role

The Restoration Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative and operational requirements of managing our programme of environmental restoration work, from initial applications through to monitoring and evaluation. Core Accountabilities of the Role

• Work with the Head of Impact & Engagement to coordinate restoration projects through each phase - application, due diligence, agreement, launch, progress monitoring, reporting and evaluation. 

• Arrange and attend regular meetings with the TreeSisters team and restoration partner teams, ensuring strong record-keeping and follow-up. Also providing translation support where needed, if possible.

• Complete all restoration project administration and documentation

• Share information about restoration partnerships and projects with marketing and fundraising team members

• Events technical support (no more than one per month, which may take place in the evenings)

• General ad-hoc administration and support as required by the charity

Digital engagement is evolving, and fast, so that is why we’re looking for a creative, experienced, strategic and data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead, develop and grow our digital presence across multiple channels. You'll manage and support our digital ecosystem, including social media, website development, email communications and digital advertising, ensuring every channel delivers measurable results.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the Training and Consultancy team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging digital content that inspire audiences, strengthens our brand and supports the communications and digital function at SMK. Importantly, you have the experience to successfully promote and drive sales of our training programmes through digital marketing techniques to optimise performance.

Marketing

• Social media management including the creation of a data led strategy and implementation plan for SMK’s channels.
• Manage the planning, creation, and scheduling of multiple marketing projects, ensuring the ‘SMK voice’ through tone and brand is implemented across digital channels.
• Create the vision for the annual SMK National Campaigner Awards social media approach and manage the roll out.
• Write compelling and impactful content for SMK’s digital channels.
• Create graphics and video content for digital channels using Canva.

The Fundraising Officer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all fundraising activities and events. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in line with the Central London Samaritans' fundraising strategy. Responsibilities include engaging with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships, Head of Branch Operations and Branch Director: Identify specific programs and funding priorities and organise targeted fundraising campaigns and events.
• Plan and Coordinate Fundraising Events and Campaigns: Oversee the planning and coordination of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
• Track and Process Pledges: Monitor, track, and process pledges made at events, ensuring records are regularly updated.
• Manage Online Donations: Oversee online donation activities, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring relevant departments and donors are informed.

Hours of work:

The basic hours are 35 hours per week spread over five working days. Within these hours there may be need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Head of Branch Operations and in line with the staff handbook and the European Working Time Directive.
