About The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic individual to support Medair UK’s engagement with trusts and foundations in the United Kingdom. Over the last 5 years income from trusts and foundations has gone from strength to strength increasing by 230% and the successful candidate will be part of the small team responsible for increasing this key area of funding. You will be an integral part of this growing Christian charity. You will enable support for the life-saving work Medair delivers to some of the world’s most vulnerable people by driving forward our relationships with UK trusts and foundations.
About You
You will be a positive and solution focused fundraiser, ready to take initiative and embrace challenging targets. Ideally you will have experience in growing income from trust and foundations from both longstanding and new potential partners, or be able to demonstrate highly relevant transferable experience. You will be capable of compiling strong fundraising proposals; produce high quality reports; partner with financial colleagues in preparing complex budgets and financial reports. A compelling written communicator, you will have a keen understanding of the humanitarian sector, and of what motivates trusts and foundations to support this work.
Key Activity Areas
Lead Generation
Be responsible for account management of caseload of mid-range Trusts & Foundations.
Work collaboratively with the Engagement Manager, Engagement Support Officer and volunteers in the identification, approach and management of UK Trusts and Foundations.
Regularly research and review opportunities for building potential relationships with prospective Trusts and Foundations and progressing relationships and applications with them through compelling communications.
Work with existing networks and contacts to identify and approach potential trusts and foundations and develop relationships with key decision makers there
Identify and pursue opportunities to increase income from existing Trust and Foundation relationships
Communications and Management
Work towards an agreed target each year of engaged trusts and related income, both restricted project and unrestricted funds.
Write compelling cases for support and proposals in order to secure grants
Effectively work with internal contacts throughout the global Medair organisation in the preparation of approved proposals, reports and supporting financial and impact information
Manage Medair’s engagement plan, initiating and delivering creative touchpoints throughout the year for all of Medair’s trust and foundation partners, as well as building relationships with trustees and representatives through video, online meetings, events and face-2-face opportunities
Planning, monitoring and pipeline management
Maintain a good record of the application pipeline and CRM (salesforce), monitoring application output, income targets, fund allocations and reporting deadlines.
Ensuring all grants from trusts and foundations are correctly allocated to Medair programmes, with the appropriate grant card on Medair’s project management platform and maintaining good contact with country programmes and finance partners throughout the lifecycle of Medair UK co-funded projects.
Internal Liaison
Liaise with Medair’s Heads of Country Programmes, Country Directors and Communications Officers in order to gather information and data for the purposes of applying and reporting to funders
Work collaboratively with finance colleagues in the preparation and approval of budgets and reports.
Foster dynamic and mutually beneficial relationships with other fundraisers within Medair international and the affiliate offices, readily sharing proposals, reports and information.

In this role, you'll:
Lead the development and execution of Oak’s B2B go-to-market strategy, working closely with Oak’s ‘adopt squad’.

During the maternity cover period, the postholder will ensure the smooth delivery of core programmes and campaigns, including leadership of Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day planning, communications and partnerships. They will maintain relationships with members, funders, government, parliamentarians and high profile supporters, sustain policy engagement and external visibility, and support income generation activity already in progress. We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Lead to use their passion, experience and skills to identify and lead innovative and insightful new business approaches and deliver an excellent standard of partnership stewardship and relationship management.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility on location, can be either once a week or once a month in the London office, additional travel to partners will also be required.

The Role
Work with the team to create compelling, creative and commercially driven partnership propositions, funding proposals and pitches.
Foster strong relationships with Regional fundraising colleagues to align corporate engagement strategies and eliminate duplication.
Engage and manage high-level internal and external stakeholders and senior volunteers in partnership development and stewardship.
Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (annually and quarterly) for the corporate partnerships function - providing clear narrative to Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships.
Travel for donor meetings and represent St John Ambulance at external events and conferences where appropriate.

MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
The Northern Partnership & Training Manager is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination and quality assurance of Partnership and Dog Training Instructor roles operating within the Northern region.
Partnership and Dog Training Instructor roles within the Medical Alert Assistance Dog department combine elements of dog training, client instructing, partnership placement and aftercare, depending on programme need. This role provides direct line management and oversight of Northern region staff working in these hybrid capacities.
The postholder ensures consistent, high‑quality delivery of MAAD partnerships, working collaboratively with training, welfare and senior management colleagues to support dog progression, client outcomes and compliance with ADUK and ADI standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Provide operational leadership for Northern region Partnership and Dog Training Instructor roles, ensuring staff who work across training, instructing and partnership delivery are effectively supported, coordinated and developed.
You will act as the regional lead for instructor‑delivered partnership work, maintaining oversight of workloads, partnership progression, accreditation readiness and aftercare delivery, while contributing to continuous service improvement under senior management guidance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will oversee and coordinate the Northern Medical Alert Assistance Dog function, managing staff in Partnership and Dog Training Instructor roles who support MAAD partnerships from allocation through placement and ongoing aftercare.
You will provide clear leadership, supervision and quality assurance, ensuring consistent delivery standards, balanced workloads and clarity of expectations for staff whose roles span multiple functions.
You will maintain oversight of partnership pipelines, regional capacity and accreditation timelines, ensuring accurate reporting and timely escalation of risks or concerns.
This is a senior operational role requiring strong people management, excellent dog training and instructing expertise, and a calm, organised approach to managing complex client‑facing services.

The Corporate Partnerships and Events Manager will be an experienced partnership manager and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking along with experience in securing and stewarding strategic partnerships with corporates and their associated corporate foundations. This role will lead a portfolio of corporate partnerships, focused on delivering shared strategic goals to increase social mobility in the workplace. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, the postholder will work on both new business and account management with ambitious individual income targets.
The selected candidate will have experience in securing, managing, and developing corporate partnerships at five-figures-plus level, from initial prospect research to contracting and ongoing stewardship. You will have experience securing and or managing corporate-charity partnerships, including engaging senior leadership. Ideally, the postholder will have experience planning and delivering events that provide high quality stewardship to donors and prospects with a clear project management approach.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week. The salary for this role is £42,025 to £46,000.
