WHO WE ARE
The 999 Club is a small charity doing big things with local people facing homelessness. For over 30 years we’ve been in the heart of Deptford providing warm welcomes and wraparound services ensuring those who need us are given the best chance of leaving homelessness behind for good.
Our Gateway Drop-In Centre offers nutritious meals, laundry and medical facilities, showers, IT access, phone charging , a safe space to rest and a dedicated Women’s Sanctuary.
When members feel ready, our team of expert staff are on hand to support them into suitable accommodation where possible, secure income via paid work or benefits, and provide immigration signposting for those who need it. Once housed, our Move+ programme continues to work with them to ensure they settle into new accommodation with the knowledge, skills, community and hope required to thrive in their new life.
We also run The Bridge, a free six-week evening mental health course open to anyone in the community experiencing mental distress. The programme provides a practical toolkit to support long-term mental wellbeing.
JOB OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES
This role will play a vital role in advancing 999 Club’s ambitious plans to enhance its status, reputation, and support among both existing and wider audiences. At this pivotal moment in the charity’s history, the postholder will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Members’ Committee to co-develop and implement a bold new communications and marketing strategy.
Building on a recent organisational rebrand, this role will ensure that the voices of those with lived experience remain central to the organisation’s messaging and identity. A key focus will be strengthening internal and external communication, uniting our diverse membership—which includes staff, clients, volunteers, trustees, and supporters—while also reaching new audiences through social media, direct marketing, PR, and media outreach.
A major priority will be the relaunch and expansion of the 999 Club’s Membership Scheme and Patrons Programme, designed to deepen awareness and support for 999 Club across Southeast London and beyond. Underpinning these efforts, the postholder will manage the Donorfy CRM database and ensure the ongoing maintenance and development of our WordPress website.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Manage 999 Club’s social media across all major platforms, creating engaging content that amplifies member voices and resonates with wider audiences.
Identify and sensitively share compelling stories that inspire support, avoid clichés and reinforce 999 Club’s themes of positivity, progress, and hope.
Produce dynamic newsletter content that strengthen reader engagement and drives action.
Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to ensure that all design and communications align with 999 Club’s brand style, visual identity, and tone of voice.
Handle press enquiries and proactively promote 999 Club’s work across media channels.
Grow our Patrons Programme so that it reflects 999 Club’s unique and diverse character and supports strategic growth.
Develop and relaunch our Membership Scheme, securing partnerships with local businesses in Lewisham and Greenwich to boost visibility and support.
Maintain and manage the Donorfy database, ensuring accurate donor records, reporting, and updates.
Produce regular reports, data and analytics on social media and website activity to inform strategy.
Identify opportunities for promotion and outreach, and represent 999 Club at events, festivals, and meetings.

Qualifications

The Head of Grant Management is a newly created role at a pivotal point in Start Network’s growth, designed to lead and shape how we manage an increasingly complex, multi-donor funding portfolio of over £40m.
As the first in this role, you will set the strategy, systems and operating model for grant management, ensuring strong stewardship, donor compliance and effective oversight of sub-granting across our global network. SUMMARY
Position Title: Head of / Associate Director of Organising & Campaigns (2 roles)

Location: Liberation centre Brixton, London (New office in Brixton)/ Remote working within the UK with at least 2 days’ work from our office (Pro rata for part time)
Contract: Fulltime (40hrs/weekly), fixed-term contract for 2 years with potential for Part time (e.g., 32hrs/weekly) options
Hours: TAA has flexible working hours, with some expected evenings (e.g., one 9pm finish once every two weeks) and weekends due to the nature of the role. All extra hours are reimbursed as Time off in Lieu (TOIL).

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action and change.
Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.

In a context of the rise of the far right, increasing inequality, and climate disaster, The Advocacy Academy is growing to meet this moment.
As part of this, we are expanding our Organising and Campaigns Team, looking to recruit two senior and experienced organisers and campaigners who are able to build the leadership of young people to enable them to turn the resources they have into the power they need to make the change they want. We have raised the funds needed to resource this growth and know what needs to be done. There are three key areas of responsibility:

Purpose of the Role:
Voice 21 is a rapidly growing national education charity, with a bold new strategy to 2030, and ambitious plans to double fundraised income over this strategic period. We believe there is significant potential for the corporate sector to engage with our work and support our mission to transform education. We are seeking an experienced corporate fundraiser to build our burgeoning programme, unlock exciting new opportunities for support and lead on developing new voluntary income from corporate partnerships. You will champion creative, insight-driven new business development and account management, ensuring partnerships are meaningful, mutually beneficial and aligned with our mission. This role will encompass research and qualification, engagement of potential corporate partners, developing propositions and proposals, pitching and securing new partners and relationship building and stewardship. This role will suit someone proactive and self-motivated, with proven experience in building income from corporate partnerships, who is comfortable working independently, skilled in building relationships at all levels, and driven by Voice 21’s mission.
Key Responsibility of the Role:
Work collaboratively across the organisation to build trusted relationships internally, maximise opportunities, and ensure corporate partnerships support our strategic objectives.
Identify and deliver opportunities to develop new partnerships, securing and onboarding new corporate partners through targeted engagement.
Build sustainable relationships with corporate contacts, ensuring excellent engagement and stewardship.
Build a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring a strategic and targeted approach to new business.
Collaborate across teams to shape and deliver high-value, mutually beneficial partnership proposals that align with organisational priorities.
Provide strategic support to the Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring where appropriate that senior colleagues are fully briefed and prepared.
Contribute your sector knowledge, expertise and specialist insights to inform strategy and innovation and assist decision-making.
Keep accurate records of all interactions with supporters and prospects.
What you will bring:
Proven experience in setting up a corporate fundraising programme, with a track record of securing five-figure+ relationships and raising income to target.
Knowledge and/or experience of a range of corporate income streams, from strategic partnerships and sponsorships, to cause-related marketing, employee engagement, gifts in kind, etc.
Strong commercial awareness, with ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities. Proactive and assertive, with the ability to recognise and act on new opportunities and the tenacity to secure meetings.
Experience of building a portfolio of corporate sector prospects and managing a pipeline of opportunities. Ideally with experience of using Salesforce (or another CRM system) to manage pipelines, track performance and report on outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of fundraising legislation, ethics, compliance, and data protection requirements.
Self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and able to take ownership of own performance. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative culture.

Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising and you will work alongside a fundraising officer. The fundraising team sits in the Operations Directorate.
Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (by Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on where you are based. Voice 21 pays all travel and accommodation expenses.

The Landlord & Lettings Partnership Manager will lead on securing suitable accommodation for our service users both while they are in Solace’s services (including refuges and supported accommodation for women experiencing multiple disadvantage) and as they transition to independent living, by building strong partnerships with private landlords and registered housing providers.

You will act as a key link between landlords, housing providers and frontline services, building a pipeline of landlords, establishing systems and processes to delivering a new letting broker service and delivering this as a working concept. Purpose of the job
Thames21’s purpose is to deliver increasingly resilient and healthy rivers and landscapes that are closer to their natural state with an abundance of fish and wildlife, empowering and working with people to bring multiple benefits to the natural environment, to individuals and communities. In recent years we have significantly up-scaled our planning and delivery of river restoration works and by 2027 we will improve 15km of river habitat annually.
To enable this, we are looking for a committed, self-motivated and technically capable River Restoration Manager to lead this work.
Candidates with a proven track record in delivering river restoration and/or habitat improvement projects, including experience managing contractors and in partnership with multiple public and private partners are encouraged to apply. The candidate should be technically strong in one or all areas of river restoration (woody habitat interventions, fish passage etc) and adept at managing complex budgets and reporting to funders. You will have confidence and credibility and be able to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders.
This role is a key position in implementing Thames21 mission and the selected candidate will be part of a dynamic and committed team. You will have the chance to add input and help develop our Five-Year Strategic Plan goals and as a key position in the organisation, you will influence how we deliver our restoration goals.
Main duties and responsibilities
Work with Thames21’s Head of Improving Rivers and local stakeholders such as catchment partnerships, councils, Friends groups etc. to develop and deliver river and wetland restoration projects throughout the areas we work.
· Develop detailed plans for the river and wetland restoration in consultation with local and expert stakeholders, meeting local needs and ecological objectives. Ensuring the necessary requirements for Construction, Design and Management (CDM) are covered as part of that process.
· Obtain all necessary permissions to deliver the projects, potentially including flood defence consent and planning permission.
· Ensure that the development and implementation of the works are well integrated into wider programmes such as catchment partnerships, evidencing and community engagement.
· Work with project partners to develop and manage tender processes for works which require the use of contractors, the tender processes will need to meet relevant requirements for project partners and funders (including CDM).
· Ensure that the Team’s RAMS are all correct and up to date. As well as ensuring all H&S documentation is correct and filed within SharePoint.
· Manage contractors to implement projects so they achieve maximum benefits and alignment to project scope.
· In partnership with others, use a range of monitoring tools to record and quantify the impact of different activities. Ensuring this data is captured correctly and presented to the programme funder, to potential future project funders and available to other relevant parties.
· Support the development and delivery of watercourse Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects, including habitat condition assessment, monitoring, reporting and long-term management planning.
· Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
· Manage and support other staff in the development and delivery of restoration projects.
· Input to the strategic development of Thames21’s work particularly the Improving Rivers Portfolio.
