Job description

The newly formed Delivery Partners and Volunteers Team for the West Midlands are looking for an organised and enthusiastic candidate to become our new part-time Youth Development Lead.

The successful candidate will provide quality support to volunteers across the West Midlands and will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new volunteers. Holding a firm understanding of Prince’s Trust programmes, they will effectively mange the provision of volunteers according to service delivery needs. Delivering excellent support, the candidate will ensure quality volunteering experiences are had at The Prince’s Trust. Comfortable supporting and delivering volunteer training, the candidate will work with volunteers virtually and face-to-face. A successful candidate will organise and manage events for partners and volunteers, again in virtual and face-to-face capacities.

The role is suited to a candidate who enjoys working with people and building strong relationships. From time to time, the candidate may be asked to use their relationship management skills to indirectly manage the educational offer provided by the Trust, working alongside partners in schools and colleges. Face to face delivery with young people may be very occasionally required.
