The Young Carers team recognises the unique challenges young carers face and we are dedicated to providing them with the support, recognition, and opportunities they deserve. Our organisation strives to empower young carers in Bradford, Craven, Harrogate and Selby districts, and to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a Young Carers Support Service which provides wellbeing assessments, mentoring, youth activities, and events for young carers.
• Lead, support, and develop the Bradford Young Carers team of 5 staff and 3 staff across North Yorkshire, covering Craven, Harrogate, and Selby.
• Recruit and support and manage volunteers and students on placement who contribute to delivering the Young Carers services.
  
• Promote the service and engage with schools, health services, and other youth organisations to encourage awareness and referrals to the service.
  
• Work closely with other professionals to ensure young carers are recognised early and supported appropriately.
  
• Deliver the project in line with service-level agreements and commissioner requirements.
  
• In times of staff absences or shortages affecting delivery fill in for young carer workers to ensure the service continues to perform.
• Oversee data collection, monitoring, and reporting to demonstrate impact and compliance.
• When needed, support the delivery of young carers events, activities, and group sessions.
  
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection are at the heart of service delivery, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.
• Contribute to the development of new initiatives, funding bids, and partnership projects to enhance the service offer.
  
• Champion the voice and participation of young carers in shaping and evaluating the service.

Requirements:

• Experience in a leadership or management role within a youth or social care organisation or similar.
• Ability to manage budgets and compile reports.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young carers and a passion for supporting their wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
• Valid, full UK driver’s license and access to a car during working hours

Governance

Operations

· Assist in the daily management of IAPB operations, including correspondence, scheduling and record-keeping.

· Maintaining efficient administration systems and databases.

· Support to IT and HR as needed.

· Provide support to all other departments as necessary.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all induction and mandatory training, ensuring it meets organisational requirements
• Ensure induction material is up-to-date and engaging

What you would be doing

Imperial’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving programme seeks philanthropic support up to £50,000 to advance the work of the University. Primarily, the programme focuses on soliciting support from alumni. The Legacy team raises philanthropic income from alumni and friends who leave the gifts in their will.  Our programmes raise funds for a variety of projects across the University including bursaries and scholarships, enhancing the student experience and Faculty level support.

Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging, but the key duties are:

• Act as first contact for all fundraising related queries (by telephone, email, post and in person); liaise across the team to draft and send appropriate responses.
• Collect, collate and manage case studies, including building relationships with students.
• Support the telethon fundraising campaigns, direct marketing fundraising appeals, and managing your own fundraising projects such as emails and social media.
• Support the team with general administrative and office duties such as booking meeting rooms.

Our head office team is based at the Uttlesford District Council offices in Saffron Walden.  We are looking for someone to work with us at least 30 hours per week; and who is flexible in how those hours are worked – most of our clubs operate outside the usual working day and whilst you will not be delivering the clubs routinely it is important you spend time with the teams on site, actively supporting and developing the services you are leading.

We are offering a salary of upto £38,000 FTE dependent on experience and qualification, and in addition we offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme and the opportunity to join a strong management team who are committed to making a difference in our local communities.

As the largest city in the South-West, Bristol has always had a challenge with rough sleeping, particularly amongst women. In recent years the need for our services has risen with acutely increasing rents and food prices. 

This has led us to a thorough redesign of the way inHope functions. Instead of being organised by venue, since April 2025 we have been organised by the services we offer to clients through all of our venues. These cover provisions, shelter, client pathways and housing. The restructure is enabling us to provide better, more joined up services and for our clients, to not only meet  their immediate needs, but to help them reach their God-given potential.

As Chief Executive you will lead our efforts to realise our vision, embedding the new structure, provide leadership to our skilled and proactive staff team of 40 and nearly 400 volunteers, and shape the development of our next five-year plan.

Your day to day responsibilities will include managing a caseload of clients, developing personalised support and safety plans, and guiding young people through the process of moving into independent accommodation, employment, and education.

As a Young Person’s Worker, you will work within a trauma informed, strengths based framework, ensuring that the needs and aspirations of each young person are at the heart of your approach. You will act as the lead worker for each individual, supporting them in developing life skills like budgeting, self care, and cooking while helping them access vital services such as mental health support, housing advice, and employment opportunities. Your role will be crucial in motivating and coaching young people to take ownership of their futures, helping them navigate their journey to independence with confidence.
