The Violence Intervention Project (V.I.P) is a young Charity (founded in 2017), pioneering new approaches to working with young people (YP) involved in serious youth violence (SYV). Job Purpose: The Family Outreach worker plays a vital role in supporting the families of clients to enhance their stability, wellbeing, and access to essential services. In this role, the Family Outreach worker will provide personalised assistance to families, strengthen connections with external partners and community resources, and collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive support. Additionally, they will establish structured communication and availability protocols to manage expectations and promote sustainable assistance for families.

Cavell is evolving their support offer to offer a Wellbeing Conversations service on a 12-month pilot aiming to help nursing and midwifery professionals to navigate feelings of stress, overwhelm or uncertainty.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. The successful candidate will use a blend of reflective listening, coaching-style questions, practical guidance and signposting to help nursing and midwifery professionals explore their stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms and empower them to address personal and work factors which are contributing to their stress.

This position operates as a job-share, and we are looking for someone to join the existing postholder in delivering the role.

Applicants should be comfortable working collaboratively and communicating effectively to provide seamless coverage and share responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Deliver Cavell’s Wellbeing Conversations service including conducting triage calls and delivering virtual Wellbeing sessions ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency, and responsiveness to demand.
• Ensure exceptional record keeping, ensuring that all relevant data protection and privacy legislation is adhered to.
• Undertake administrative duties to support the delivery of the service, including data entry.
• Have regular peer supervision with their job-share.

Collaboration:

• Work with the Support Team, wider staff, and external stakeholders to identify common themes, challenges, and emerging issues affecting the nursing and midwifery workforce.
• Engage with referral partners and the funder to maintain effective working relationships.

Objective:

2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish Cymru and 2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.

We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don't have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

Context of role:

2wish support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are an All-Wales charity providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.

This role is subject to a DBS check.

Purpose of role:

This is exciting time to join the 2wish team as we continue to expand our services across England that will see us deepening our presence in England. We’re looking for someone who can seek out and build great partnerships, cultivate and manage large corporate donors whose values align with ours and help raise brand awareness. Someone who can proactively generate new and repeat business and enjoys networking and building relationships with both corporate sponsors and high net worth donors.

Main duties:

Team Leadership

• Line manage the Corporate Fundraiser and Events Coordinator, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.

Partnership Development

• Identify and secure strategic partnerships to grow annual and long-term income.
• Develop and implement innovative and creative approaches to overcome challenges in generating funding and building partnerships.
• Lead stewardship and engagement of corporate supporters, including creating tailored plans and activities to maintain strong relationships and encourage long-term support.

Strategic Growth & Awareness

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and implement strategies to increase funding, raise brand awareness, and expand 2wish’s reach across Wales and England.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target relevant leads.
• Plan and deliver tailored events and attend community and industry events to promote 2wish’s services, raise funds, and attract new audiences.
• Identify and recommend networking and speaking opportunities for the CEO and senior team to raise funds, increase awareness, and build strategic connections.
• Manage sponsorship opportunities to promote the charity’s mission and build new relationships.

Planning, Collaboration & Evaluation

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to set income targets, develop financial forecasts, and monitor progress.
• Manage budgets for partnerships activities, ensuring effective use of resources and achievement of fundraising goals.
• Analyse and report on the performance of business development initiatives, including partnerships and events, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with teams across 2wish, including fundraising and marketing teams, to align partnership goals with the wider organisational strategy.
• Support the development of targeted campaigns in collaboration with fundraising and marketing teams to secure new partnerships.

What we do for you:

Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Normal hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. Full details of the scheme will be provided to you once you are enrolled, including the minimum level of contributions that you will be required to make during your membership (current contributions - employer 3% and employee 5%).

Mileage: A fixed rate allowance is payable for agreed mileage undertaken on 2wish business in a private vehicle, over and above your usual journey to your workplace/s.

Role Purpose

The role of the Outreach & Development Worker is to ensure carers of all ages and backgrounds are aware of their rights and know how to receive support from Gaddum and other services they need at the right time for them.

The job holder will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.

The role will focus on the outreach provision, being based in different locations across Salford including hospitals, community venues, mental health settings and others accessed by people with caring responsibilities. The role will include supporting the continued development of the service, assisting with the creation of resources and training. The role will also support our involvement offer; ensuring carers are at the forefront of service change and service delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Facilitate carers drop-ins in venues across Salford, including but not limited to hospital sites (both on wards and public areas), community venues (such as Gateways) and high footfall locations.

· Provide one-off, solution-focussed appointments to address the immediate needs of carers identified in the community or at the point of referral.

· Create networking opportunities throughout all wards of Salford to publicise the service and build/ maintain relevant partnerships.

· Complete Statutory Carers Assessments.

· To be able to travel to various locations in Salford, at times multiple locations per day – often carrying service promotional materials. Salford is a large city covering 37 sq. miles.

· Create and run exciting events and support groups for carers, organisations and stakeholders to attend.

· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at carers, to communicate the support and opportunities available from the service.

· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at community groups, educational bodies and organisations to raise awareness of how to identify and support carers, and to increase the visibility of the service.

· Develop ways to identify carers across Salford and let them know about support available to them and their needs.

· Invite Carers to be involved with the service and help us to coproduce/ codesign our service offer.

· Get to know Salford’s diverse communities and organisations, providing culturally appropriate information and support.

· Promote Carers Rights to carers, Salford’s communities and relevant organisations.

· Maintain a clear record of work completed by note taking and recording on our recording system.

You will raise awareness of our work to protect children who are separated from their families across international borders by developing key relationships with Government departments, drafting policy briefings, developing campaigns and leading on our public affairs work. You also will produce newsletters, create compelling content for our social media channels, maintain our website and promote our campaigns to key stakeholders.

Jerry Green Dog Rescue is looking for an inspiring, self-motivated and target-driven Fundraising and Volunteer Manager who can hit the ground running. You will oversee Community Fundraising and Volunteering at Jerry Green Dog Rescue, and will be instrumental in setting the future strategy for Community Fundraising from individuals, groups and corporates, as well as leading on the Volunteering strategy for across the charity.

This role is Hybrid – minimum 1 day per fortnight at one of our centres (Nottinghamshire, North Lincolnshire, South Lincolnshire), with travel across our regions to support your team and visit our centres and shops as required. You will manage 2 x Volunteer and Community Fundraising Officers and 1 x Volunteer Administration Assistant.

As the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for:

· Developing and defining the Community Fundraising strategy and Volunteering strategy, with income stream responsibility for Community, Corporate, Third Party and Virtual Products.

· Implementing excellent supporter experience across community fundraising and volunteering.

· Leading on exciting projects such as the growth of our Virtual Products and Third Party event offering for supporters.

· Inspiring and motivating your team of talented individuals to achieve their objectives, instilling a culture of trust, innovation and being solution-focussed.

· Working collaboratively across the organisation, and as part of the ‘Leads’ group to achieve the aims of our organisational strategy

· Acting as an ambassador for Jerry Green Dog Rescue, and living our values in everything you do, with your colleagues, supporters and volunteers.

· Keeping up to date with sector trends across community fundraising and volunteering, and ensuring adherence to relevant legislative requirements.
