About you and the role
The purpose of this role is to lead on our finance strategy, and ensure all of our systems, reporting and processes are helping to drive forward the charity and deliver on our objectives at scale. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Directors to ensure that financial planning is effective and supported by accurate data analysis. You will report directly to Trustees as required and ensure that the highest standards of transparency and probity are maintained.
You will be joining the team during a period of growth in the size and complexity of our delivery. We currently have 20 employees and anticipate doubling in size within three years. You will have a crucial role in shaping our systems and processes to ensure we can scale effectively, both our existing programmes and a new membership-based programme that is in development. We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with an interest in effectively using technology and systems to drive efficiency, without compromising on accuracy or compliance.
You will support and mentor the Finance and Office Manager, ensuring that financial administration is carried out proficiently and in line with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all statutory filings are made accurately and on time. Your role will also encompass ensuring that we operate within legal & regulatory frameworks and stay up to date with changes in relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities:
- Developing a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities
- Reviewing suitability of our current systems: Quickbooks for accountancy, Beacon CRM, PLEO for expenses management, Survey Monkey for data collection etc.
- Where necessary, identifying and implementing new software to ensure all systems and processes are robust, user friendly, deliver useful data analysis, integrate and/or improve automation
- Working closely with the Director of Transformations to translate the annual activity plan into an accurate organisational-level budget
- Advising the Chief Executive, team and Trustees, ensuring that benefits and risks of decisions are fully considered and fit with the overall financial strategy

We are seeking a Head of IT to lead the technical delivery in support of our IT strategy. This is a new role and will be our first standalone IT member of staff. New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. Fairtrade drives change through changing trade and in this role, you will lead, manage and motivate a team of senior managers, managers and officers responsible for the delivery of Fairtrade’s impact goals - ensuring Fairtrade’s interventions address the most important sustainability challenges across economic, environmental and social issues. This role will be leading across key commodities such as Cocoa, Coffee, Bananas, Tea, Gold and Flowers and across all our licensees.

Leading supply chain risk management, building solutions and driving forward opportunities to reduce environmental and human rights risks in supply chains.
The role is key for Fairtrade’s external profile and external relationship management. You would be leading a transformation change to the Retail Estate that continues to enhance the Woodgreen brand, providing an exceptional shopping and donor experience alongside excellent customer service. Our Retail team is an integral part of our Charity, and as Head of Retail, you will be responsible for our estate of 27 shops that cover East of England, west towards Oxfordshire and south towards London. As Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction, which includes:
Driving Growth: Achieve sales and profit targets through managing our Retail Area Managers whilst strengthening the existing estate by building strong foundations.
Strategic: Developing a customer focused strategy, ensuring it maximises sustainable net income and long-term value for the charity.
Team Building & Management: Working alongside the People and Volunteering teams, empower, support and develop a high performing retail team and create a collaborative workplace culture.

- Develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the Theory of Change and organisational objectives.

The Deputy Head of Fundraising will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission. Role Overview:
The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications leader to join the Devon Air Ambulance team and help us tell our story.
Supported by a team of six, and working across the charity, the role will design and deliver marketing and communications strategies to support our mission, vision and strategic aims.

The Candidate

You will oversee Asset, Responsive Repairs and Portfolio teams providing motivational line management to Managers of these teams; supporting them in your key role to ensure the organisation makes sound investment and divestment decisions, implementing the asset management strategy and developing and implementing quality repairs, maintenance and voids standards.
In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. About you
We are looking for a dynamic, customer centred and systematic Head of Service with experience of successfully delivering strategic asset management and responsive repairs and voids services.
You will have extensive experience of working at a Head of Service/senior management level ideally gained in the housing sector and will have the ability to work with a range of customers, colleagues and external key stakeholders. You will have experience of leading a large functional diverse team, have a solution focused approach and an interest in collaborative team working.
