The Business Engagement team leads the RSPB’s work with the private sector and plays a central role in the charity’s strategy, working with businesses as agents of change. With a clear strategy and strong ethical foundations, the team are well positioned to raise £15 million through corporate partnerships by 2030 – and this role is central to making this happen.
Reporting into the Head of Business Engagement, you will oversee and grow a portfolio of multi-million-pound, strategic corporate partnerships, and ones that have the potential for this, ensuring they deliver both significant income and deep impact for nature. Partnerships include Tesco, Co-op, Ella’s Kitchen, Cemex and Barratt.
Working closely with the Head of New Business & Impact and the Head of Business Practice & Advocacy, you will deliver on RSPB’s Business Engagement Strategy, which focuses on:
- Investing in nature at scale
- Driving business practice change
- Influencing policy and systems
- Reaching new audiences through customers, employees and B2B engagement
As Head of Partnership Delivery, you will:
- Lead RSPB’s most strategic corporate partnerships, overseeing a portfolio that includes Tesco, Co-op, Cemex and Ella’s Kitchen. These relationships are already delivering conservation impact and income, but there is more potential to unlock.
- Manage and mentor a skilled team of four, with a collaborative, empowering leadership style and people-first approach
- Drive income growth and unlock new value from existing partners – including funding for restoration, nature projects, biodiversity in supply chains, engaging with business customers and employees’ and behaviour change initiatives
- Work across internal teams – including Global Conservation, Country teams, Fair to Nature, Policy & Advocacy, Finance and Communications – to integrate technical expertise and policy influence into our partnerships
- Play an active leadership role across the Business Engagement team and wider RSPB, helping evolve their approach to corporate engagement and championing the role of business in nature recovery
Ideal skills and experience:
- A track record of leading and growing high-value, strategic partnerships – ideally at a multi-million-pound scale
- Strong strategic and commercial thinking, with the ability to balance income generation and mission-driven impact

Our team is fully remote, with our Global Team based in the UK, Canada, Singapore and Greece. We also have two learning centres, one in Amman, Jordan and one in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya and work with a growing list of partners across Kenya, Uganda and Malaysia.
The Opportunity:
This is where this new role comes in: The Head of Fundraising will play a crucial role in supporting the stewardship of the current donors while also securing the vital resources needed to realise our bold ambition and help us transform the lives of millions of young refugees and conflict affected youth across the globe.
You will be part of leading a growing and changing organisation, and will work closely with Amala’s two Co-founders and the Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy, cultivate and deepen key donor relationships and boost our income growth from our current £800k towards our £3 million target by 2027, driving the financial sustainability necessary for Amala’s continued growth and impact.

Who we are looking for:
A strategic, entrepreneurial and ambitious senior fundraiser with a proven track record of securing significant UK and international funding (£1m+ annual income generation), developing high-impact strategies, and building strong donor relationships. You will be an inspiring leader with exceptional people management skills, with experience in leading growing organisations, and who enjoys the strategic side of the role as well as having a hands on approach.
The role would be best suited to someone who is committed to making a difference to the lives of young refugees, with a strong grounding in international charity sector fundraising. and international funding.
Essential experience:

Proven experience in a senior fundraising management role within the non-profit sector, ideally within international development.

A proven track record of success in fundraising, particularly in developing and executing complex fundraising strategies for a growing non-profit organisation.

A strong history of securing six-figure, multi-year grants and contracts in the UK and internationally, with an annual income generation of £1m+.

What we offer:
This full time, fully remote position offers a salary of £50,000-55,000 if you are a UK resident. If you reside in a different location, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. You will work closely with a driven, collaborative, entrepreneurial and supportive team from around the world, and you are required to be in a time zone GMT +/- 3 hours.

About the Role
The Head of Finance is the financial lead for the Charity with responsibility for driving and implementing good charity financial practice, producing robust financial reports and financial forecasts in line with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), as well as providing timely provision of financial information and advice to the Chief Executive and Board to inform strategic decision making.
We are looking for an Interim Head of Finance for an initial fixed period of 6 months, pending the appointment of a new CEO. The interim Head of Finance will support the induction of the new CEO and advise on strategy for the management of the Charity finances beyond the initial 6-month period. The successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in charity finance, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and will also have a need at times to be hands on in supporting the routine financial transactions of the organisation.
Alongside the leadership and advisory functions of the role, the Head of Finance is also responsible for the management of the wider Finance team, working closely as a finance business partner with colleagues on the SLT and Farm School Managers, specifically:
- oversee the finance related work at each of our farms through the Farm School Managers and Farm Office Managers; effectively communicating financial information to non-financial audiences at all levels of the charity;
- the continuous improvement of the financial provision, demonstrating best practice and leading on efficiencies in financial management.

Living Paintings is the national charity on a mission to ensure every blind child in the UK has equal access to the visual world of pictures, books and learning. From adapting bestselling picture books into accessible, tactile-audio formats for blind children to developing resources designed to inspire, educate and entertain – our free postal library gives thousands of blind children and young people the world at their fingertips.
We are looking for a strategic, organised and creative Communications and Marketing Lead to join us at an exciting time for the charity. In the last two years, we have doubled the number of beneficiaries using our service thanks to innovative campaigning and strong storytelling. We are working to an ambitious 10 year strategy that will further raise awareness of Living Paintings and our work, increase income and maximise our impact.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
In this role you will lead on maintaining, developing, and delivering all aspects of our charity’s communications strategy and its associated activities, working closely with the Communications Assistant as well as the CEO, Fundraising Lead, Library Manager and Publishing Manager. Primarily an outward facing role, the postholder will ensure that the charity has the broadest possible positive exposure to stakeholders – both current and future – and continue to build Living Paintings into a credible, recognisable and positive brand.
Hours: 28-35 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 - £48,500 FTE
Place of work: Hybrid between home and office in Kingsclere, Newbury (at least 2 days per week in the office preferred).

1. Lead the Communications and Marketing function and strategy:
- Review and refine our Communications & Marketing strategy to ensure it is fit for purpose and responsive to the new chapter unfolding in Syria, positioning us as a leading voice among charities engaging in the region;

- Create engaging digital content, with input from the team on messaging and purpose, to raise Action Syria’s profile and support our fundraising and marketing campaigns;
- Work with the fundraising function on Action Syria’s digital fundraising strategy, with a focus on optimising donor journeys; and
- Support the team with asset design for fundraising campaigns where required.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
Following a recent departmental restructure, we’re entering an exciting period for the newly formed content team. This shift in the team structure highlights our commitment to making best in sector content - all in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for delivering our holistic content strategy over the next year. You’ll oversee the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels, and in house paid campaign activations. You will help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts our key audience of 18 - 24 year olds, as well as our supplementary audiences, across website, email and social channels.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation. You will report to the Marketing Director and line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.
This is a fixed term contract for 13 months.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working.
- Deliver the holistic content strategy across digital and social channels (including website, email, search, owned social, content creators and gaming) that will enhance the annual marketing strategy and drive awareness of CoppaFeel! and our mission amongst 18 - 24 year olds.
- Responsible for overseeing a team creating and producing innovative content that’s insight driven and market leading.
- Oversee production plans delivering our year round ‘always on’ organic content (web, email, social).
- Lead and inspire creativity across the organisation with a view to becoming social first in everything we do.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to develop and deliver a content optimisation test and learn programme.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimise CoppaFeel!’s website and third party agencies to research, plan and execute Search Engine Optimisation and Paid Search strategies.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the annual Website and Email content plan, including an optimisation plan.
- Work with the Social Media Manager to produce social first content year round, in line with the social media and content strategy.
- Oversee in house paid social media campaigns, primarily on Meta, with support from the Social Media Manager. Deliver training to the Social Media Manager to help them work towards activating these independently.
- Oversee delivery of workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including producing, distributing, measuring, and retiring content.
- Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Oversee capacity of the Content Team.
- Line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.
- Ownership of the Content Team budget and quarterly re-forecasting.
- Contribute to quarterly all staff team meetings.
- Ensure rigorous reporting and analysis of social and digital activity to ensure delivery of planned KPIs, with an ambition to be constantly improving and evolving.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum 5 year’s experience working in a management level content focused role, for example a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing or Head of Content.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and prioritising cross departmental content requests.
- Demonstrable experience of implementing strategic content plans.
- Demonstrable experience of producing creative content.
- Demonstrable experience with activating paid social campaigns.
- A leader with the ability to develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards.
- The ability to build relationships with and manage senior stakeholders’ expectations and cross-departmental content requests.
- Demonstrable experience of reaching and converting 18-24 year olds (our target audience) via engaging content with a focus on Instagram and Tik Tok.
- Experience of working for a youth focused brand/charity or account (if agency based).
- Experience of working with content creators.
- Excellent knowledge of the ever changing digital and social landscapes, and how tools/AI can help enhance our work.
- Confident decision maker.
- Experience of budget management and forecasting.

About the role

You will be responsible for delivering on shared strategic goals through compelling communications, externally and across our network of participants, staff, volunteers and organisations which offer the DofE. The Head of Communications is one of two senior leadership roles in a wider Engagement team, which in December 2024 won Team of Year in the prestigious CharityComms Inspiring Communicator Awards. Working in partnership with our Head of Brand Marketing, you’ll build on that success, bringing a collaborative approach as we evolve our objectives and ways of working. You’ll play a key role as we mark DofE’s 70th birthday in 2026, then pivot to a new organisational strategy for 2026-31.
Critically, you will lead and shape the engagement of our network of almost 5,000 licensed organisations, 38,000 amazing volunteers and more than half a million participants, working closely with senior Operations colleagues. You’ll oversee staff communications, media and PR, and lead on corporate and crisis comms. Members of your team deliver our Youth Ambassadors programme and crucial support for DofE’s Fundraising and External Affairs.
We’re looking for someone who is versatile – able to switch between the big picture and the detail, with antennae equally alert to risks and opportunities. You’ll be an accomplished diplomat and influencer, with an ability to spot and make connections within and beyond the team. Given the breadth of the role, the successful candidate would ideally bring prior experience of different elements of the brief, together with proven experience of team leadership.
