Context and Background
The Public Engagement team is responsible for developing and delivering the strategy that will drive significant, long-term income growth by inspiring and engaging public audiences to support the work of the NSPCC.
This will be achieved through integrated, audience-led, multi-channel marketing approaches, including; mass participation, individual giving, and campaigns that generate sustainable funding aligned to the NSPCC’s strategic priorities.
Alongside income generation, the team plays a vital role in increasing public understanding of abuse and neglect and building advocacy.
The team will foster a high-performing, results-driven culture that values collaboration, innovation, and integration. By focusing on excellent supporter relationship management and purposeful engagement, it will deliver long-term, sustainable impact to support the NSPCC’s mission.
Job purpose
The Associate Head of Engagement Delivery will lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of engagement and fundraising activity to key agreed audiences, ensuring alignment with the audience engagement strategy and campaign plan.
· Take accountability for Engagement Delivery team outputs, ensuring high-quality execution across creative, campaigns and channels
· Provide direct line management and coaching to diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, building capability, confidence and high performance across the full channel mix, while fostering an inclusive and supportive culture

● Line management of a team of 8: Engagement Delivery Managers, Senior Officers and Officer

● Collaborates closely with other Associate Heads within Engagement and Fundraising directorate, as well as Brand, Marketing and Communications, to create integrated strategies for public engagement and fundraising.

Main duties and responsibilities
· Campaign Planning and Delivery
o Accountable for the planning and operational delivery of engagement and fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email and telemarketing to current supporter and DRTV, digital acquisition supporting integrated charity-wide campaigns, and advocacy activity.
o Oversee direct line management of campaign delivery teams, coaching and developing individuals to build capability, confidence and high performance across the full channel mix, while fostering an inclusive and supportive culture
o Oversee campaign briefing, scheduling, and performance tracking, ensuring campaigns are delivered in line with audience strategy and organisational priorities.
o Adjust campaign strategies as required to respond to performance, changing supporter behaviours, market conditions, and organisational priorities.
o Lead the formation, leadership and allocation of high-performing campaign delivery squads, ensuring teams are effectively structured, supported and empowered to deliver, ensuring each team is equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to successfully execute their campaigns, allocating resources based on audience insight and projected impact.
o Monitor and report on campaign performance, embedding structured feedback loops and squad retrospectives to capture learning and drive continuous improvement, using data to inform improvements and strategic decisions.
o Collaborate with colleagues across Engagement and Fundraising to ensure campaigns are insight-led and supporter-centric.
o Work with the Engagement Delivery Management Team ensuring that all activities are aligned with Digital Engagement and Direct Fundraising teams to ensure seamless execution and optimisation of campaigns to achieve the overarching objectives for the Public Engagement Directorate.
o Champion delivery standards, processes, and best practice within your portfolio, ensuring alignment with the organisation-wide Engagement Delivery standards set by the Head of Engagement Delivery.
· Strategic Leadership and Integration
o Working in partnership with peers to ensure that all channels are effectively utilised to deliver both standalone activity and integrated charity-wide campaigns, including collaboration with audience strategy, supporter experience, product, and insight teams, driving innovations across the income streams.

1. Significant experience in strategic, integrated engagement and fundraising - developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns (direct mail, email and telemarketing, DRTV, door drop, press, digital and charity wide integrated campaigns) across the full marketing funnel, from brand awareness to direct response, in a non-profit or similar environment.
2. Up-to-date knowledge of direct and digital marketing theory and practice, including individual giving trends, regulations, and best practice, with a proven ability to optimise campaign performance and return on investment.
3. Strong track record of financial planning and budget management at scale, including setting and reporting on income and expenditure targets, and providing clear performance updates to the Engagement and Fundraising SLT.

Brief role description:
The Head of Partner Management role is responsible for leading on and strengthening
relationships with parkrun's corporate partners (external) both in the UK and globally. This
role involves maintaining and developing partnerships through regular face-to-face
meetings and communications, identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and value, and
ensuring partners align with parkrun's strategy. The role exists within the Commercial &
Fundraising team supporting global staff to ensure best practice across parkrun Global
partner footprint. As a senior staff member you will work with various teams to execute
successful partner campaigns and deliver partner’s rights. You will also support and on
identifying new sponsors and opportunities with corporates to increase revenue to parkrun.
Main responsibilities:
● Working with local partnership managers, manage and grow relationships with
parkrun’s global commercial partners ensuring strong collaboration and mutual
benefit.
● Develop parkrun’s account management processes and documentation globally with
an aim to be world class, using KPI and objective planning, data to measure
performance and ensuring regional partnership managers successfully achieve the
objectives of partners in their region.
● Create, manage and implement campaigns on behalf of partners, monitor and report
on performance of these campaigns and ensure the delivery of contracted rights.

Operations
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of operational systems, processes and policies to ensure the charity operates efficiently, consistently and in line with best practice.

Role purpose
The Head of Finance is a key member of the Charity’s senior management team, working closely with the chief executive, directors, and trustees. We are looking for candidates with demonstrable strategic financial leadership spanning organisational planning, budgeting, risk, and reporting. You will have:

The role
This role is suited to an experienced fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant income, including six-figure gifts, within the charitable sector. Working closely with the Director and Board, the Head of Development will lead fundraising strategy, strengthen supporter relationships, and diversify income streams to support The Line's future growth and impact.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, you'll secure income from trusts and foundations, individual donors, corporate partners and other sources; build and manage relationships with funders and supporters; identify new opportunities for growth; and ensure excellent stewardship across all fundraising activities. You'll also line manage the Development Coordinator and oversee freelance fundraising support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and implementing The Line's fundraising strategy, delivering against agreed income targets and diversifying revenue streams
- Developing a robust pipeline of trusts, foundations, corporate partners and individual donors
- Translating organisational priorities into compelling funding proposals, cases for support and reports

What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced fundraiser with proven success in generating significant income within the charitable sector, ideally in arts and culture. You'll have:
- Demonstrable experience securing six-figure funding through trusts and foundations, individual giving, public funding and corporate partnerships
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of the UK cultural funding landscape and fundraising best practice
- Experience using CRM systems and managing supporter data
- Financial literacy, with experience developing budgets and funding bids
- Commercial awareness and experience negotiating partnership agreements
- Knowledge of GDPR, fundraising regulation and compliance requirements
- Ability to motivate colleagues and drive results
Desirable: senior management experience, established fundraising networks and sector relationships, knowledge of tax-efficient giving, and experience managing donor programmes internationally.

About the role:

The Head of Product (Schools and Teachers) reports to the Director of Product and will work alongside and in partnership with the Head of Product (Ecosystem), a role we are also hiring for.
This role is responsible for Oak’s Schools and Teachers product suite, serving both individual teachers as direct consumers and schools through both a self-serve and partnership model to implement sequences of Oak’s curriculum.
You'll play a key role on Oak's leadership team, working closely with colleagues across Engineering, Education, and School Support. You will ensure our products deliver real impact for teachers and pupils, are grounded in evidence and pedagogy, and exemplify what a modern, digital public service can be.
We welcome applications from candidates with deep product management experience who have led cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality user experiences, iterating and improving established products with large user bases. Ideally, you’ll also have experience of delivering educational products.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, develop and manage a high-performing department across Product squads and the Design discipline, supporting colleagues to grow and building relationships across Oak and beyond.

Shape and deliver the Product strategy for Schools and Teachers, ensuring cross-functional squads work effectively to achieve strategic priorities and continuously improve how they operate.

Represent the Design discipline at a leadership level, line managing the discipline and supporting its evolution in a world of AI.

Ensure every product delivers high-quality, accessible, safe, pedagogically rigorous experiences for teachers, schools and pupils and that these products can scale and have impact.

Develop our use of AI, ensuring it stays safe, pedagogically robust and aligned with Oak's curriculum principles.

Maintain deep expertise in digital product management, product strategy and design, providing thought leadership across Oak and representing the organisation externally where appropriate.

As a member of the leadership team, contribute to Oak's strategy and planning, and model our culture across the organisation

Manage the Product budget (six figures), sharing Product Management budget with the Head of Product (Ecosystem) and owning the Design budget.

Deputise for the Director of Product, and take on other duties as needed.
We’re looking for
-
5+ years of experience in product development, including at least 2 years setting product strategy across multiple teams/squads in a product-centric organisation

Experience in recruiting, managing and leading high-performing teams

Experience in managing a significant budget

Demonstrable experience of designing, implementing and continuously improving agile ways of working.

Demonstrable experience of supporting high-performing teams outside of your own areas of expertise.

Experience of identifying and integrating opportunities presented by AI into products and/or ways of working, with a thoughtful approach to quality, safety and responsible use.

Good understanding of pedagogy, education policy and the UK education system (desirable).

You will be comfortable working at pace, with a range of digital systems (including proprietary ones as required), and you will continuously look at ways that the team can keep getting better. You will excel at working on a remote team, building relationships, and managing your time effectively.

About the Role
This is not your typical management role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, building trusted relationships and finding practical solutions to difficult challenges. Reporting to the Head of Faculties, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of three of our six Faculties, working with world leading surgeons and healthcare professionals who generously volunteer their time to advance surgical education and, ultimately, improve patient care across the world.
You will also lead and develop a small, high performing team comprising a Faculty Development Lead, A Faculty Coordinator and shared support from a Coordinator and an Administrator. As a people leader, you will create an environment where colleagues feel supported, empowered and able to do their best work. Balancing day to day operational delivery with longer term development and continuous improvement.
No two days are the same. One morning you might be advising a Faculty Chair on governance matter. By lunchtime
you could be developing a business case for a new educational initiative, supporting your team through a challenging piece of work, or troubleshooting an unexpected operational problem. In the afternoon, you may be leading a cross College project, bringing together colleagues from across departments to deliver a new service, improve member experience or develop innovative ways of supporting our Faculties. Success in this role comes from working collaboratively across the organisation, building strong relationships and bringing people together around shared goals.
