Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration across Technology teams to maintain and enhance infrastructure in line with Association goals
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal disruption
• Monitor and manage servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud platforms to optimise performance and reliability
• Develop and implement security and infrastructure best practices, including proactive patch management and cyber security compliance
• Plan and deliver infrastructure projects such as upgrades and migrations with efficiency and minimal downtime
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations, processes, and changes
• Grow excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Track costs, ensuring alignment with financial plans and budgets

About You:

• Extensive experience in infrastructure management or a similar role, with expertise in server and network management in hybrid environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Confident working with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Entra ID, and Azure
• Experienced in managing virtual platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Skilled in documenting systems and processes clearly and accurately
• Proven people management skills, with the ability to lead, support, and develop colleagues effectively
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability with a focus on delivering practical, secure, and reliable outcomes

This is an essential car user post. The applicant must hold a current UK driver’s licence, with no more than 6 points, have access to a car and be able and willing to drive UK wide as required.

Spitfire Advice & Support Services (Birmingham) Limited is not-for-profit organisation that offers help, information and support to clients from the most excluded communities.  We are currently funded to deliver our services in Castle Vale Ward and all the Sutton Coldfield post codes. Our Money Advice Caseworkers’ support clients who are affected by welfare reforms and have complex welfare benefits and debt issues. The appointee will need to have extensive experience of Legal Services Commission casework in the context of the Advice Quality Standard and will have worked in a target driven environment but who will also understand that people will always be our priority.

Essential Qualifications:

a)Educated to degree or equivalent level or have demonstrable work experience in the delivery of debt and benefit advice.

b)Hold either an IMA (Institute of Money Advisers) qualification or have recent GGDA (Giving Good Debt Advice) training.

Job Purpose

The key purpose of the role is to deliver a first-class specialist debt and money advice service to clients in need of support. ensuring income maximisation for all clients through the take up of appropriate welfare benefits.

• A Community Development qualification and/or transferable Community Development skills and experience.

• A basic understanding of the Asset-Based Community Development approach (ABCD) is required however full support and development of this practice and our internal ways of working will be provided.    

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships that drive action.  

• A track record of successful collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders.  

• Effective and efficient organisational and IT skills. 

PLEASE NOTE:  

• The successful candidate will need to be based within a 30-minute commute of their allocated locality and there is a requirement to travel regularly across the wider area (travel expenses covered).  The successful candidate must possess a valid full UK driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes.  

• There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to other UK locations for meetings and events depending on the charity’s needs such as our annual all colleagues in person event.   

• The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Kirkby Stephen Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. Working Pattern: As the store is open 7 days a week, the successful post holder will be required to on a rota basis which will include weekend, evening, and bank holiday working.

• Ensuring stock is generated over the door by members of the public and donors sign up to the Gift Aid scheme.

• Maintain a high standard of presentation, both in the windows and the interior of the Store.

About the Role

As Supporter Development Manager, you will provide leadership to the Supporter Development side of the Individual Giving Team, successfully delivering supporter development activity in line with agreed annual targets and our Fundraising Strategy. You will work with the Head of Individual Giving to evolve and continuously improve the supporter journey activity, bringing an integrated, cross-departmental approach to deliver the most donor-centric activity, continuously evaluating performance to ensure lifetime value (LTV) optimisation.

Key responsibilities include:

· Working in partnership with internal stakeholders to deliver the Individual Giving annual roadmap.

· Delivering, evaluating and improving integrated donor journeys across online, post, social and other channels as required.

· Managing the Supporter Development annual income and expenditure budgets.

· With the Head of Individual Giving, monitoring and reporting on the targets and KPIs of Supporter Development activity.

· Proactively identifying and delivering new fundraising and income growth opportunities within Supporter Development.

· Working closely with internal teams across the charity to analyse activity performance, audience behaviours and learnings to shape future campaigns.

· Leading, training, coaching, and mentoring the Supporter Development Team, upskilling their knowledge and experience within key areas of delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of managing, growing, and delivering multi-channel and multi-product supporter development programmes.

You will also have:

· Working experience of several of the following areas: raffles, lottery, sponsorship, regular giving, reactivation, consent management, gift aid and cash giving (appeals).

· Experience of delivering complex donor-centric supporter journeys using a test and learn framework and LTV modelling.

· A track record of leading, motivating, and inspiring marketing teams, together with proven line management experience.

· Advanced and contemporary direct marketing knowledge, together with experience of managing and reforecasting multimillion pound direct marketing budgets.

· Experience of conducting effective direct marketing analysis to support and enhance the performance of channels, products, and specific appeals.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

As this role may/will involve occasional travel to different sites and external suppliers, a full, valid UK driving licence is required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of Development and Alumni Relations team at the University of Southampton, creating and delivering a range of strategic communications for our alumni and supporter community.  

You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering a whole plethora of communication tools to support our fundraising and engagement, with a particular focus on our upcoming Campaign for Southampton. Due to launch in 2027, this will be our biggest fundraising campaign ever, with a target of £100m. One of our key fundraising focusses will be the Institute for Medical Innovation; we will raise £50m to build this groundbreaking facility, which will address the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges through interdisciplinary research. We are looking for an experienced communications professional to support us with creating engaging communications. You will be responsible for activities such as: 

• Developing compelling propositions
• Delivering the communications to support major gift prospect fundraising events, from creating invitations and shaping the themes, through to developing event materials and briefing speakers 
• Creating and editing a wide range of communications pieces for our major gift prospect audience, from written case studies through to web content and video
