Overview
At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.
Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group.
As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.
You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners.
The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Community and Participation to lead the development and implementation of strategies aimed at significantly increasing participation in wheelchair rugby across Great Britain. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful community outreach programs, engaging with local clubs and organisations, and developing innovative approaches to reach new participants, particularly those that are classifiable for wheelchair rugby (Paralympic discipline).
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in community development, sports development, and marketing, with a strong understanding of how to build sustainable participation pathways. MAIN DUTIES
- Resident engagement, taking and responding to residents’ calls, ensuring that all such engagement is documented on the Goulden House Resident Engagement Database

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Head of Governance will lead the charity’s small Governance and Risk, and Facilities teams. They are responsible for governance, company secretarial, risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, information governance, procurement and contracts management, business continuity planning, and management of facilities and the charity's office and small portfolio of other properties.
The role would suit someone who enjoys a broad remit and working with colleagues across the charity, who can think around issues and implement pragmatic solutions. Reporting into the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. Key Responsibilities:

As our Service Desk Support Coordinator, you’ll be the friendly face of IT support at the Royal College of Radiologists. You’ll be the first point of contact for our staff, Officers, Examiners, and remote users delivering support across IT and Audio-Visual systems. From troubleshooting tech issues and managing service requests to supporting high-stakes examinations and ensuring our meeting rooms run smoothly, you’ll play a vital role in our reputable team.

What you’ll do :
- Providing responsive, customer-focused support via Freshdesk, Teams, email, and in person.

- Helping deliver seamless AV and video conferencing experiences.

The Systems and Administration Officer will be responsible for the effective running of Heart of the City’s systems and administrative processes, ensuring that digital tools are utilised in the most effective way, and governance, finance and business support processes are delivered efficiently.
The post holder will manage the delivery of key IT, finance, governance and administrative processes. This includes ensuring the legal compliance, effectiveness and security of cloud services and software used by the team, supporting the director with financial planning and administration and managing calendars, governance systems and general correspondence. The post-holder will also be a key contact point both internally and externally; this includes senior stakeholders on the Board of Trustees and Council of Members. They will also support the team with day-to-day office management and queries with software and cloud service usage, with a view to streamlining systems where possible.
