We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Net Zero Carbon Engagement Officer to support churches across the Westminster Deaneries in their journey towards net zero carbon. This is an exciting opportunity to work with parishes, clergy, volunteers and diocesan colleagues to reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency and care well for creation.

You will play a key role in coordinating activity at a local level, supporting churches with audits, funding applications and delivery of projects, while helping to build learning that can be shared more widely across London.

About the role

Reporting to the Net Zero Carbon Programme Lead, you will:

• Engage with and support churches across the Westminster Deaneries (St Marylebone, Paddington and St Margaret) in progressing towards net zero carbon
• Coordinate and grow the Westminster Climate Forum, encouraging collaboration and shared learning between churches
• Support churches to complete energy and net zero carbon audits and implement recommendations
• Promote funding opportunities and support churches with grant applications
• Work with fundraising colleagues to submit funding bids on behalf of individual churches and groups of churches
• Support churches to submit annual Energy Footprint Tool data
• Oversee grant distribution and support delivery of projects within budget and timescales
• Work with communications colleagues to develop case studies and share learning

The Role

As one of two Finance Business Partners, the postholder is responsible for ensuring that Royal Museum Greenwich’s strategic ambitions are correctly planned for and that adequate financial resources are in place to achieve them.

Key elements of the role involve advising and supporting all staff with financial responsibilities to ensure that financial decisions are optimised and to keep relevant staff informed of key financial updates and changes, and to communicate any relevant changes to the rest of the Finance team.

Further core responsibilities include supporting assigned Heads of Departments and directors on all financial matters, advising on budgeting and forecasting, monitoring of actual results and ad hoc queries, and working as a team with the other Finance Business Partner, lead on the production of the monthly management accounts pack, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and incisive analysis and commentary.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a demonstrable track record of working with non-finance managers to achieve high quality reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ideally within government bodies or heritage/cultural/charitable organisations. Excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders and solve problems are also essential.

This is a permanent full-time in Band 3 - Senior Management. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.

About the role

We are currently looking for an impassioned and self-driven individual to join our activities team to deliver exceptional service to our students, through engaging with the 350+ student groups, which deliver an incredible range of world-class opportunities to their members.

£39,000.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

This is a 9 month maternity cover fixed term contract.

Service Managers are responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role. Post-holders may also carry client group specialism responsibilities, linking in with other Managers and Head of Services to ensure focussed integration of specialisms across the whole organisation.

Hammersmith and Fulham MH is a medium to high support Mental Health Service split across three sites (within walking distance).

As the Service Manager, you would be responsible for x1 TL and 7 Support Workers.

What you'll bring:
Essential:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience of managing contracts and resources and delivering to budget and performance targets
- Experience of delivering to housing management performance targets
- Experience of effectively managing and developing staff to ensure delivery of services performance targets within contract
- Experience of successfully managing external partnerships to ensure successful delivery of services
- Holds relevant CMI/NVQ Level 4 or other Business/Management Qualification

We’re looking for someone to provide support to unpaid carers of people living with dementia through tailored emotional, practical, and advocacy support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact on our Carer Support Line

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. With a key focus on effective and efficient operations, collaboration and continuous improvement in our Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.

To achieve this ambition, we’ve developed a new technology infrastructure which we are calling “Sage”. We’re implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as our new CRM system and suite of data tools – Microsoft Dynamics).

This role involves developing and implementing frameworks, conducting detailed analyses, and leading evaluations to provide actionable insights. By collaborating with various departments and stakeholders, the BI Lead ensures that data-driven decision-making and performance measurement are integral to ways-of-working, enhancing overall effectiveness and fostering continuous improvement.

This role develops and implements organisational data strategies and frameworks for measuring the impact and performance of the MS Society’s work, aligned to organisational strategy, covering data collection, analysis, and reporting, and ensuring consistency, accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of impact and performance evidence and insights.

Experience of stakeholder management both internal and external; and designing and delivering complex analysis and evaluations is required.

With one direct report, we require a seasoned manager / lead and the person applying should also have proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) for advanced data analysis and modelling (e.g. logic models, theory of change and other evaluation models), and experience in using survey tools and software for data collection and analysis.
