This is a pivotal role in which you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of volunteering roles in our health and social care services so that a wider range of people can get involved in supporting people affected by cancer. 

About you
You’ll support the growth of volunteering in health and social care services by delivering volunteer involving opportunities and enabling their sustainability. A key component of the role will be to work collaboratively with your peers to enable a positive volunteer experience and delivery of effective emotional support interventions to people living with cancer. 

It’s particularly important that you demonstrate sound knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to this role and experience of planning. A rounded understanding of volunteering in its widest sense is useful in addition. Most important of all though, your successful track record in supporting a range of volunteer led services working with a vulnerable client group within a health and care setting is needed to achieve our goals.

Age UK's Service Delivery Management team acts as the bridge between stakeholders and Digital & Technology (D&T), ensuring service delivery meets operational needs across the organisation. This new and evolving team focuses on maintaining consistent service delivery standards through analysis and assurance of complex performance data.

As a Service Delivery Analyst, you will support the Service Delivery Manager by gathering, analysing, and preparing service management data for D&T service wrappers. These are essential for maintaining consistent service delivery standards across internal teams and external suppliers.

You'll liaise with various teams within D&T and Information Protection & Compliance (IPC), as well as external suppliers, to help ensure operational excellence and customer-focused service delivery.

We are looking for a Legacy and Administration Manager to join our Finance and Operations team on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This role will report to the Director of Finance and Operations. 

Job Purpose

Legacies are one of the most vital sources of income for Operation Smile UK, helping us continue our work supporting patients with cleft around the world. We’re now looking for a Legacy Administration Manager to join our dedicated team and ensure that every gift left to the charity is managed with care, professionalism, and in line with the wishes of our supporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residuary, specific, and reversionary legacy cases from initiation to completion, optimising income while upholding all legal, ethical, and organisational standards.
• Communicate with empathy and professionalism with executors, solicitors, and beneficiaries’ families, including handling enquiries and confirming receipt of legacy notifications.
• Review estate documentation and valuations, determine the charity’s entitlement, and verify that all due funds are correctly received.
• Ensure that all relevant charity tax reliefs are properly applied for, including Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax appropriations, and Income Tax (form R185).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legacy income and correspondence within OSUK’s CRM system and Finance Tracker.
• Track the status of ongoing cases, pursue outstanding actions, and take prompt steps to address issues or disputes as they arise.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams—such as Finance, Supporter Care, and Partnerships—to promote strong stewardship and compliance.
• Refer or escalate complex or high-impact matters to the Director of Finance and Senior Finance Manager when necessary.

Person Specification

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate clearly and sensitively, both in writing and verbally.

What will I be doing?

• Lead in all aspects of the software development life cycle e.g., requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation
• Apply Lean and Agile principles to develop high quality code that has minimal bugs, adheres to CRUK standards and is highly supportable

Stour Health and Wellbeing Partnership (SHWP) is seeking to appoint a part time Community Builder to work with residents and stakeholders in the more rural Stour areas to foster partnership working, connect and strengthen local communities and to reduce social and rural isolation. By really listening to local people, the post holder will help local communities to identify the challenges faced and what residents want and support them in creating new initiatives or enhancing existing ones to meet these needs. The aim is to improve links between services, existing groups, new initiatives and the community to increase community health and wellbeing. We are looking to appoint a skilled relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of rural challenges to connect, coordinate and support initiatives. Experience of managing projects and measuring their impact is desirable.

Contract details: Fixed Term Contract until December 2026 – potential to become permanent.

About the role:

We are seeking someone pragmatic, able to manage upwards and who is happy to work on their own initiative as part of a remote team. A willingness to support colleagues, think creatively, to question and to challenge will be essential. This role involves planning, executing and overseeing one or more projects and a PMO while effectively communicating and managing stakeholder expectations.

This new role will lead the establishment of a re-designed Project Management Office (PMO) to provide proportionate and strategic support, aligned to delivery approaches of NFCC. By adopting a tiered, integrated and flexible approach NFCC can enhance decision-making and support project delivery and assurance across the organisation.

As an established PMO Manager, you will bring your experience in setting up PMOs and use your knowledge of a diverse range of project management methodologies. You will be enthusiastic about making a difference and are able to bring people with you as you drive change. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience of facilitation. Influencing skills and proven experience in managing change are essential.

This role includes up to 50% of time spent managing organisation-wide priority projects. You will be responsible for managing existing projects to completion and initiating and managing to completion new projects if required. You must ensure projects are delivered to time, within budget and to the required quality criteria.

As Community and Corporate Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of our events calendar, designing and delivering a range of engaging, purposeful, and high-impact events that support our mission and generate essential income.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage fundraising events, such as sponsored sleep-outs, our flagship annual ball and community events
• Develop new event ideas that inspire community engagement and increase income
• Oversee all logistics budgets, suppliers, venues, health & safety, volunteers
• Work closely with our frontline team to ensure lived experience and service member stories are at the heart of our events
• Lead on social media and marketing for the Charity
• Promote events through our digital channels, press, and local networks
• Build relationships with local businesses, sponsors, schools, churches, and individuals to grow participation and support
• Analyse and report on event performance, learning and adapting to grow our reach
• Stakeholder relationship building – local councillors, dignitaries, politicians and key influencers

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing events, ideally in a fundraising, nonprofit, or community context
• Creative, strategic, and organised, you know how to juggle multiple projects and stay on top of details
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about tackling homelessness, social inequality, and supporting people in crisis
• Willing to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed for events
• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle insured for business use.
• Ability to travel across Calderdale and occasionally further afield for events, meetings, and partnership activities.

Engagement Coordinator 

Brighton and Hove Speak Out is a dynamic local advocacy charity. We support people with learning disabilities to have a voice and choice and control over their lives through providing a range of advocacy services and community projects.    

We are seeking to appoint a part time Advocacy and Engagement Coordinator to deliver a programme of engagement and consultation activity. The post holder will support people with learning disabilities to have their say about local services, share their experience about how support and services impact on their lives and make recommendaitions for improvements.

The role involves organising outreach and consultation on different issues. The post holder will support a group of self-advocates (the Link Group) to take part in planning, running and reporting to the Learning Disability Partnership Board.  

The Post Holder will also support health advocacy, training and awareness raising at Speak Out. They will support the ‘Thumbs Up' campaign led by a group of Speak Out members.

About you

The successful candidate will need excellent communication and organisational skills, including report writing, and will be able to manage a complex workload. Experience of advocacy and/or group work with vulnerable clients is essential. Knowledge of learning disability services and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is an advantage.

You will attend events, speak on behalf of Stewardship and deliver content with excellence. Camp Jojo is currently in transition. Over the first 8 years it has worked from one established site in Mersea, Essex; but we are now opening a second site near Appleby in Cumbria. The role of Program Manager will work across the whole organisation, towards the successful development of the values and the proven model in a second site; and its partnership with the Essex site will be an important part of the role.

Camp Jojo is growing from a young, largely trustee led, organisation to a staff team led organisation. Again this role will be a fundamental part of that transition. This is a predominantly an operational post, and not responsible for the finances of organisation, though it will deliver operations within the board approved budget. They will also sit on, or chair, several of the Committees of the charity; including the Senior Operations Team.

The role will offer leadership to key functions of Camp Jojo, Camp Jojo staff and contractors, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the work of the charity. Whilst the majority of the work will be remote the incumbent will be required to attend some meetings and events in person, including at both sites. They will also be required to attend at least part of the actual camp events. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.

The Program Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the Camp Jojo community and be very good communicators. They will deal with model consistency, values, and operational issues across both sites.
