SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis as a result of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice (SLRA is regulated to provide advice at IAA Level 3) as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. SLRA also campaigns for a fairer immigration system, involving local people with lived experience in influencing local and national policy and practice.
We are looking for an Immigration Advisor who will be responsible for the delivery of immigration advice and casework to service users in a wide range of circumstances, although most will be rough sleepers. The work will be varied and will cover a broad range of asylum and immigration issues, along with the opportunity to support advocacy work and to improve access to justice.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Are an Immigration Advisor regulated at IAA Level 2 / 3 with substantial relevant experience of providing high quality advice and casework to clients.
- Have a good understanding of a wide range of legal, rights and entitlements issues as they relate to immigration and asylum, along with knowledge of and empathy with the backgrounds and experiences of migrants who are in crisis or at risk

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, and occasional out of hours work when necessary.

We’re looking for a support worker who will:

Support the Wales Mission Team in their ongoing mission to pioneer and create opportunities for children and young people, who are found in the 95% of those outside the church, to explore the Bible, respond to Jesus, grow in faith, and become sharers of the good news of Jesus for themselves. Our priority is to reach those who don’t yet know Jesus by helping them to connect, explore, respond, and grow.

Work with the National Mission Co-ordinator (Wales) and the team in the National Office to develop a wider provision for mission resources, communication and marketing materials in the Welsh language.
This is a permanent role at 0.5 FTE with a salary of £11,970.
What You'll Do

Administrative Support: provide administrative support to the Wales team with regard to arranging meetings, note taking, event bookings, internal communication and database support.

Our client is one of the largest women's hostels in the UK for vulnerable women affected by homelessness. They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. They are now recruiting for 2 Education, Employment and Training (EET) Workers to deliver meaningful activities and EET opportunities for women. Please note these roles are initially offered on a 6 month FTC until 31st March 2026.
As our client’s new EET Workers, you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, delivering meaningful activities and employment, education and training opportunities to a variety of vulnerable women, mostly on a 1:1 basis. You will empower services users by developing life and employability skills and providing opportunities for involvement. Working with women mostly on a 1:1 basis but also in a group setting, you will facilitate sessions for women with varied support needs as well as effectively working with prospective partners across the homeless sector as well as external stakeholders including professional agencies, training providers and recruiters.
To apply for this role, you will have proven experience of supporting hard to reach service users, ideally in an employability capacity, although this is not essential. You will have experience of providing personalised, tailored, trauma-informed support to a variety of people with complex needs and will be warm and approachable in your manner. About the role:
We are looking for a Head of Financial Operations, who will provide leadership and development to the Financial Transactions Team and the Local Groups Finance Team during a period of transition to new systems and processes. You will lead the annual audit process, acting as the primary contact for auditors and other external advisors. Additionally, you'll be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial and reporting processes throughout the charity by leveraging data and digital tools.
What you’ll do:
- Lead on the Annual Accounts production and act as key contact to the Auditors and Governance Team.
- Manage a team of three direct reports across financial reporting, transactions, and procurement
- Continuously drive improvements and actively contribute to the finance transformation across finance processes and systems
- Act as lead, mentor and coach to the Financial Accounting Team and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Manage financial risks and improve internal controls through compliance to relevant governance
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience of leading the Annual Accounts production and ability to distil and present it to a wide range of non-finance stakeholders
- A CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant with excellent technical financial accounting skills, including strong knowledge of relevant accounting principles
- Experience building rapport and constructive relationships with senior managers across the organisation to deliver continuous improvements

A leading London-based cancer charity is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join them for a 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential for permanent thereafter). This well-known charity plays a vital role in funding cancer research, providing support for patients across a range of programme areas as well as leading in campaigning and advocacy work.
The Finance Business Partner role will support the organisation in the provision of accurate management information to key budget-holder groups for the charity. Key duties will be as follows:
- Prepare reporting and key financial information, including forecasts and budgets, for key directorates
- Oversight of the management accounts for your programme areas
- Work closely with non-finance budget-holders to advise on in-year budgets and re-forecasts
- Develop relevant reports and templates or budget-holder training to improve budget-holder experience and financial acumen
- Working in partnership with the wider finance business partnering team to identify best practice and improved ways or working where appropriate

- Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)

About the role
Individual giving is a fantastic, high performing team, generating over £20 million fundraised income per year. Your role will be pivotal in helping to support the delivery of our fundraising strategy, budget management, as well as being responsible for delivering campaigns to generate income both now and for the future.
If successful, you will be responsible for acquisition and retention communications that talk to thousands of individuals, building relationships with supporters across a wide range of marketing channels (including face-to-face, DRTV, direct mail, digital) and different activities, and driving vital income to support the charity’s research and care objectives.

About you
You’ll either already have some experience of working in a marketing/fundraising environment, or demonstrate a strong desire and attitude to learn quickly about running direct marketing campaigns, working closely with suppliers, to generate income and develop lasting engagement with tens of thousands of supporters.
A well organised person with excellent communication skills, you’ll be managing relationships with key external agencies and in house stakeholders to deliver complex, multi-faceted campaigns while closely monitoring and ensuring they are delivered to budget. You’ll have a real focus on monitoring key campaign metrics to optimise performance.
Working across a range of channels that can include email, online, telemarketing, direct mail, door to door and private site, you’ll understand supporter motivations, and how to increase supporter engagement, testing and evolving our campaigns to best fit what works for our supporters and ensuring that the Breast Cancer Now brand ethos is at the heart of all communications.
