An in-person selection event (informal interview and ID checks) will take place on 4th October 2025 in Kidlington.
You will be assigned an existing volunteer as an Induction Buddy to help you begin your volunteering journey.

Do you live in Sefton? Do you want to be the difference between a life saved and a life lost? We're now recruiting for Community First Aiders across Sefton (including Southport, Formby, Waterloo, Crosby and Maghull).
The volunteers would be expected to attend their network meeting on a regular (at least monthly basis) and partake in a range of operational events.
Interviews would take place in early to mid October 2025. This event will include an informal chat with some of our current volunteers, a quick introduction to St John Ambulance (and an opportunity to learn some lifesaving skills!) as well as screening checks.
If you are successful you will need to undertake induction & training for role at these dates:
Welcome Event (Induction) - will take place on the 1st November
Training for role - will take place on 22nd and 23rd November

We are undergoing an exciting period of growth and have a fresh new mission to create a listening space for attendees to the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), and offer compassionate and inclusive mental health support, resources and practical support to promote wellbeing for patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, resilient and community minded volunteers to help support our new Hospital Link Service, which operates in Colchester.
If you would like to play your part in supporting better mental health in your community, we would love to hear from you.
The role:
Mid and North East Essex (MNEE) Mind work effectively in partnership with local commissioners to offer non-clinical person-centred support to people who are experiencing emotional distress.
The service will be open between 2pm and 9.30pm, 7 days per week, and we are looking for volunteers who are flexible and available during the service hours, be that for a couple of hours or more.

We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for our Chorley and Leyland group. As our local Group Coordinator you’ll take the lead in making sure your local group works as effectively as possible. You’ll recruit, induct and support other group volunteers to make sure your group’s activities meet the needs of your local MS community. You can see a video about one of our Group Coordinators here.
In this role you’ll be able to develop your leadership, management, communication, organisation and motivation skills.
Time Commitment
We estimate this role will need around 5 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.
