Reporting into the Legacy Manager, you will either be able to work in a hybrid way working between home and 2 days per week at our London office or remotely working from home with a requirement to attend our London office for a team anchor day once a month.

About You:

Having previously worked within a direct marketing team within the charity sector, you’ll have experience project managing campaigns with external agencies and internal stakeholders utilising a variety of fundraising channels such as digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing. 

You’ll also have gained experience using Dynamics 365, Raisers Edge or a similar database. 

About The Role

• Lead on the planning and implementation of legacy and in mem fundraising portfolio, managing marketing campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis. 
• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with in mem supporters and legacy prospects in local communities, with the support of community fundraising managers and local volunteers – keeping these supporters at the heart of your work to to maintain and increase their support through excellent stewardship. 
• Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
• Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends. 
• Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.

The Director of Operations will work as part of the management team to develop and implement the organisation’s strategy and operational plans and to build the longer term sustainability of the organisation. They will be required to deputise for the Chief Officer in their absence and assist in the overall management of the organisation. Experience of providing research support in a policy environment and knowledge of technology policy, privacy, children’s rights or a related field would be desirable. Additional language skills such as French or Spanish is an advantage. About Us:

Thank you for your interest in our Country Manager role. ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Since 2006, we have successfully neutered nearly 20,000 cats and dogs, significantly impacting Romania's severe overpopulation of animals.

Job Overview:

As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA in the UK. This is a remote position (for now) that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to achieving our organisational objectives.

You have strong digital marketing and paid social experience across both brand and fundraising campaigns. As an Area Manager you will give leadership, direction and guidance to the staff of Medaille Trust to ensure the provision and development of a high quality service in line with the Trust’s Mission, Values and Strategy.

You will have a good understanding of the CQC framework relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.  You will carry out quarterly assurance audits in all safe houses ensuring any appropriate action is taken where necessary.

You will line manage, induct, mentor, coach and support Service Managers.  Additionally, you will ensure that any complaints, grievances and disciplinaries are investigated and responded to in an effective and timely manner in line with Medaille Policies.

Although the post is home based, the post holder will be expected to travel frequently to our safe houses within the South and London areas with some overnight stays.

You must have previous experience in a relevant sector or experience of working with adults that are vulnerable.  Experience of managing staff, carrying out line management, supervision and appraisals is essential.  Additionally, you must have experience of setting up Service User Engagement groups.

We are looking for community-focused person, with vision, skills and enthusiasm to become the first Director of our small charity and help to deliver our ambitious plans. Our Roehampton is a registered charitable company that is embarking on an exciting period of development to establish itself as a community-led anchor organisation for Roehampton in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

You could be someone who’s managed a community organisation before or has experience of managing projects in a community setting and now wants to take on a leadership role.  The successful candidate will have proven community development and engagement skills as well as be able to work strategically to lead and support the development of the charity;  you will be equally comfortable supporting a group of residents with ideas for a new activity, hosting a meeting of the Roehampton Network and liaising with local authority or health partners on strategic matters. You will have experience of staff and/or volunteer management and have the organisational skills to ensure Our Roehampton runs as a safe, legally compliant organisation. You’ll have a track record of embedding equality, diversity and inclusion understanding into your work.

We were formed in 1982 when we were set up to serve the mental health community.  We are based mainly on the site of Springfield University Hospital Mental Health NHS Trust.  Springfield Law Centre is unique as a working model of a health justice partnership.

We are seeking a for a new Director & Head of Legal Practice to take forward this unique, niche Law Centre.  There is an opportunity for expanding the work of the Law Centre and showcasing the worth of health justice partnerships.We are looking for an energetic and compassionate lawyer with a broad experience of either housing or community care casework and representation, who is capable of being a legal aid category supervisor in either area, who has the confidence to lead the team and to develop it so that we can continue to make a real difference within the community.

Qualifications and experience

1. 5 years’ PQE qualified lawyer, with demonstrable experience of management at a senior level.
2. Ability to meet the supervisor for the Legal Aid Agency contract in either housing or community care.
3. A track record of implementing and managing change. 
4. A track record of leading and motivating others demonstrating strong people skills.
5. A track record of innovation and problem solving.
6. Appropriate skills and experience that demonstrate an ability and commitment to manage staff effectively. This should include support, supervision, and appraisal and performance management.
7. Appropriate skills and experience to effectively handle and manage complaints.
8. Experience of managing a Legal Aid Agency Contract and Legal Help matters, with billing targets.
9. Ability to bill all types of legally-aided work and to report to the Legal Aid Agency.
10. Ability to manage a varied caseload of sufficient, appropriate matters to meet the billing target in place.
11. Ability to draft appropriate documentation in your specialist area of law.

We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Data and IT team. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of assigned IT projects within the charity. You'll be responsible for managing the project team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards. You'll serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Engagement Manager to head up our Digital Team, taking the lead on driving forward the organisation’s digital marketing and communications. You’ll work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and deliver the digital elements of the wider marketing and communications strategy, and line manage senior officers who lead the operations and development of our website, social media, email marketing and paid advertising activities. 

You’ll play a lead role in maximising digital marketing opportunities, raising the profile of the organisation, communicating information, services and campaigns to new and existing supporters, and using insights and data to drive engagement and growth across the organisation. You’ll be the go-to expert for major initiatives that require digital support, from communication campaigns to change projects. You’ll also bring insights into the latest trends and developments in the digital marketing landscape.

You’ll be a digital all-rounder with enough hands-on knowledge and experience to support your operational leads, and the ability to think strategically, guiding the team and driving forward new ideas and initiatives. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a refuge worker within a refuge service, supporting women and their children fleeing domestic abuse. Your responsibilities will include supporting and advocating for women and children, taking part in the on-call rota, managing day to day running of the refuge; health & safety, safeguarding and supporting the service and deputy manager. 

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies. As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
