About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Communications and Campaigns Lead to deliver high-impact public communications and campaigns that strengthen Z2K’s profile, influence change and support our fundraising goals.
Working closely with the Director of Policy & Engagement and colleagues across the organisation, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of engaging communications and campaign activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You will also mobilise supporters and communities for in-person actions that amplify our campaigns and deepen public engagement.
You’ll play a key role in bringing our new organisational strategy and planned rebrand to life - ensuring our external messaging reflects our values, demonstrates our impact, and helps secure the income and influence needed to deliver our mission.
A core part of the role will involve ensuring our fundraising communications are compelling and strategic, helping us build stronger relationships with supporters and funders. Equally, you’ll work with colleagues and communities to design and deliver campaigns that are shaped and delivered by people with living experience of poverty.
This is a broad and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, wants to be hands-on in delivery, and is passionate about challenging injustice through powerful storytelling and action.
About You
You’ll be a skilled and creative communications and campaigns professional, with a track record of delivering high-impact, audience-focused content and activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You’re confident managing multiple priorities, spotting opportunities in a fast-moving external environment, and adapting messaging to maximise reach and impact. Experience of in person mobilisation would be an added advantage.
You’ll bring strong project management skills and enjoy working collaboratively across teams to produce clear, compelling communications that support fundraising, influence policy, and build public pressure. Whether it’s crafting supporter actions, writing stories that centre lived experience, or securing media coverage, you’ll be comfortable leading delivery while contributing ideas to wider strategic thinking.
You’ll have a keen understanding of how to build trust, grow engagement, and communicate complex issues in a way that connects with audiences. You’ll also be politically engaged and passionate about using communications and campaigns to challenge injustice and drive change.

Job Title: Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (Housing IGVA)
Location: The GAIA Centre (Lambeth, London)

The Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) will be embedded within borough housing teams to facilitate the dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. This includes:
· Close working relationships with Housing colleagues
· Provision of specialist knowledge relating to DA for Housing Officers and Homelessness Teams to draw on
· Specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis
· Provision of advocacy; supporting survivors to access safe accommodation
· Ongoing support from the IGVA from wider DA service, including access to group clinical supervision, casework management meetings, reflective practice sessions, one-to-one supervision from service manager
The Housing IGVA will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children. The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence).
The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, housing and practical options that might increase their safety. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support especially around complex housing needs.
The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.

Role Purpose:
This role manages the UK digital team, driving our digital presence. The role line manages the Website Manager, an Email Marketing Officer, and a Social Media & Paid Ad Manager. The role drives a high-quality and consistent online experience across all the digital areas, and ensures all our digital content is well planned, cohesive and on-brand.
You will also be part of a project to scale digital advertising, mentoring our Social Media & Paid Ads Manager to work with our digital marketing agency and our fundraising acquisition manager.
The role works collaboratively across the FundComms department to deliver digital activity and supporter journeys that support fundraising campaigns and appeals, as well as awareness and educating audiences on the issues faced by people after disaster.
Who are we looking for?
ShelterBox is looking for a strong and experienced digital team leader, ideally with experience of working in digital at a charity to drive digital reach and engagement. You'll have an up-to-date understanding of digital channels and delivering digital campaigns (organic social, email, website and paid advertising). You are passionate about creating and growing high-quality online experiences.
You're great at writing for digital, understand ethical storytelling, and will be able to coach the team on creating copy, ensuring our brand tone of voice, approving content across all of our digital channels.
You've delivered (either in-house or with an agency) successful digital advertising campaigns, ideally for fundraising. You've worked with digital agencies.
You are experienced in taking a data and evidence-based approach, testing, gathering insights and driving improvements that improve user experience and conversion rates.
You're great at building strong, constructive relationships with colleagues across the organisation, confidently managing differing perspectives and ensuring focus stays on the right priorities. You should be able to challenge and redirect when needed, using evidence to keep projects on track.
This role is full of variety, working collaboratively with other teams to deliver a range of digital projects. You will join a friendly and vibrant Fundraising & Communications department in our mission to make ShelterBox a household name and raise money to fund emergency shelter after disaster.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Digital marketing and strategy
* Oversee our digital channels, including:
* Social media for organic reach and engagement and developing fresh approaches as algorithms change.

ROLE SUMMARY
It is an exciting time to join the team, with income growing year on year and an increasing awareness of our brand through activities such as the recent Radio 4 Charity Appeal. We have ambitious plans and the Head of Fundraising will make a significant contribution to future growth; you will manage the Fundraising and Events team with oversight of income generation from various sources including major donors, individuals, trusts & foundations and a portfolio of events.
The role will suit innovative individuals with experience of fundraising from major donors and at least one of the other specified income streams, and event planning or project management.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of Fundraising will contribute to upReach's mission by meeting financial targets, recognising when to make the fundraising ‘ask’ and leading the annual budget process. You will use clear, creative written communication to produce convincing cases for support, represent the charity at relevant networking events, work closely with the upReach Development Board and act as an ambassador for the organisation.
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will manage three direct reports and support individuals participating in the Future Charity Leaders Programme (upReach’s graduate scheme). You will work closely with the Head of Partnerships, CEO, Programmes and Finance teams and other colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team.

Leadership and strategy

Purpose of post
By instruction and in partnership with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) the Programme Director will manage and coordinate the operational areas of VFCC based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met. The Programme Director prioritise the target/ objectives. We are looking for an experienced Programme Director to supervise a wide range of programs. You will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program. You will supervise teams and inform management on progress and performance.
A successful Programme Director must have a broad knowledge of program management principles. They must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop their subordinates.
The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization
Key tasks
- The Programme Director will assist senior management in establishing the development of the organisations long-term business Plan.
- The Programme Director will ensure that the strategic aims and planning of departments budgets/objectives are in conjunction and agreed by the CEO.
- The Programme Director will be responsible for monitoring workflow, ensuring optimal productivity, performance, milestones and deadlines are met across the organization.

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join a dynamic and growing satellite Students’ Union in the heart of Canary Wharf. The role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Head of Fundraising to lead our next phase of growth.
Your first focus will be stewarding our 3,000 fundraisers - overseeing segmented email journeys, managing a £40k prizing fund, and improving supporter care through deeper, more personal touchpoints. That might mean calls, events, or just finding ways to help people feel more connected to their impact.
Beyond that, you'll help us develop and test new income streams - from matched giving and regular giving, to sponsorships, repeat fundraising, and post-event conversion. You'll also play a key role in evolving our Challenge Events portfolio across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.

- Oversee the planning and execution of community fundraising initiatives, specifically with our event fundraisers.
- Engage and mobilise volunteers and supporters for fundraising activities.
Fundraiser Care
- Customer Lifetime value / retention / regular giving.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring effective stewardship.
- Develop and implement donor retention strategies to increase long-term support and regular giving.
Trusts and Foundations
- Working closely with our Head of Programmes to oversee our bids process, working with specialists and utilising learnings from previous years.
- Deepen strong relationships with grant-making bodies and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Corporate Partnerships
- Manage and develop corporate partnerships and event sponsorships.
- Develop tailored proposals and pitches to attract corporate support.
Team Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and manage a small fundraising team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members for both fundraising and marketing.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and report on fundraising performance against targets.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a senior fundraising role.
- Proven experience working on fundraising events and event fundraising.
- Demonstrable success in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
- Strong track record of securing major gifts, grant funding and/or corporate partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in digital fundraising and leveraging social media platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Understanding the mass participation event landscape and its opportunities, ideally within the swimming sector but other sports experience very welcome.
