Aim of the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Hair and Beauty Facilitator to create engaging learning experiences for small groups of students with a range of complex needs. This role involves planning and delivering practical, hands-on sessions in hair and beauty, as well as developing students’ independence and work-readiness skills.
You will help students contribute to the development of the college’s outdoor and internal environments, creating meaningful work-based learning opportunities that align with their interests and aspirations.
Key responsibilities
Design and deliver a differentiated Hair and Beauty curriculum tailored to a wide range of learning needs.
- Lead practical sessions in hair styling, self-care, and basic beauty routines.
- Model and teach hygiene routines, such as: Hair washing, drying, and brushing Oral care and toothbrushing, Facial cleansing and skincare Nail care and grooming
- Support learners to develop independence using visual aids, social stories, and step-by-step guidance.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with learners to support their emotional and social development.
- Plan and prepare classroom activities and resources to promote work-based learning.
- Develop and facilitate work experience opportunities in line with the college’s work
- Track and record learner progress in accordance with internal procedures.
About You
You will be passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and bring creativity and structure to vocational learning. Ideally, you will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area (e.g. Hair & Beauty Therapy)
- Experience working in an education setting with learners with additional needs
- Ability to plan and deliver vocational activities in a learning environment
- Understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
- Level 2 or higher in English and Maths.
- Knowledge of how to track learner achievement and follow internal monitoring systems

This role will see you responsible for the day-to-day loading operations and usage of the Poppyscotland Charity CRM Supporter Database as our Poppyscotland Database Coordinator.
Reporting to our Poppyscotland Database Manager, key responsibilities will include:

Overall purpose
The Employment Adviser (EA) plays a key role in supporting refugees and people from refugee backgrounds to progress towards and secure sustainable employment. The EA provides tailored employment advice and guidance, helping clients build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to navigate the UK job market. This role will work with clients at various stages of their employment journey, with a particular focus on those in the earlier stages of understanding career options, developing employability skills, and exploring education, training, and volunteering opportunities.
The EA will deliver one-to-one and group-based employability support, collaborate with employers and volunteers to source opportunities for clients, and maintain strong relationships with referral and support partners to ensure a holistic approach to employment support.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a thoughtful, motivated Junior Product Manager to join the Product Team at upReach.
In this role, you’ll help improve the digital tools we use to support thousands of students from underrepresented backgrounds to access top careers. Working closely with developers, colleagues from the Product Team, and our users themselves, you’ll support the development of products that make a real difference - every day.
You don’t need to have worked in product management before. If you’re excited about using technology to make things better, and you enjoy solving problems and collaborating with others, we’d love to hear from you.

We are seeking a part-time Finance Manager for Energy Sparks, a charity working towards a sustainable future in which the school community is at the heart of measurable action to tackle climate change. Energy Sparks equips children and young people with the knowledge, skills, and tools to take practical action in their school and wider community to reduce carbon emissions. We enable school leaders, staff and communities to better understand and reduce their school’s energy consumption and introduce wider measures to reduce their carbon footprint.
This is an exciting, new role in our growing team and provides a great opportunity to apply your financial accounting and management skills to help our charity flourish. As the only finance employee within a small organisation, this role will be a blend of weekly bookkeeping tasks alongside the preparation of management accounts and strategic oversight of Energy Sparks’ finances. About us
Energy Sparks is an online energy management tool and energy education programme specifically designed to help schools reduce their electricity and gas usage through the analysis of smart meter data. Energy Sparks helps pupils and the wider school community to reduce their school’s carbon emissions, and make a real contribution to addressing the 'climate emergency'. Energy Sparks started in 2017 in Bath, and is now working with over 1000 schools across the UK.
Current annual income is £500,000 to £600,000 with expected growth in the 2025/2026 financial year. To date, the responsibilities in this job description have been delivered by the CEO. All staff work remotely with the core staff team based in the Bath area.
Key Responsibilities
Note: Energy Sparks currently uses the Xero accounting package to deliver most of the tasks below.
1. Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of income and expenditure.

Provide financial reports to the CEO and Board of Trustees

Track restricted vs unrestricted funds and ensure proper allocation and reporting.

Prepare the annual financial statements (in line with charity SORP).

ROLE SUMMARY
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and ambitious fundraiser with experience in trusts, foundations and/or corporate fundraising to join upReach as we deliver our three-year strategy (2024–2027). The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of upReach through the development and stewardship of relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners, and by helping secure five and six figure grants and gifts.
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, this role will manage a portfolio of funders and help the wider team to meet income targets. You will work collaboratively across the organisation including the delivery and impact teams, finance, partnerships, and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with stakeholders (internal and external)

Develop and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with key external contacts, including funders and volunteers.
