Senior Corporate Fundraiser

Location: Primarily office‑based in Hemel Hempstead; however, hybrid working can be offered where appropriate and agreed.

Salary:IRO £36,000 (FTE) depending on experience

We are searching for an experienced corporate fundraiser to join our dynamic and high-performing Fundraising Team. 

You will be an excellent communicator, confident in networking and presenting a compelling case for support, target driven and have a background and successful record in securing high value (5/6 figures) gifts, business sales or similar.

You will be responsible for developing our DENS Business Partnership Programme, building a pipeline of high-value prospects, increasing engagement, and influencing the involvement of local businesses to support DENS ambitious growth plans.

You will represent DENS at regular networking events, business forums and external meetings to build visibility, grow networks and generate new corporate opportunities.

Overall Purpose: 

• Develop DENS Corporate Income Stream, creating and implementing an effective corporate fundraising plan to meet agreed targets and increase sustainable income for the charity, whilst supporting DENS ambitious growth plans.
• Build strong and influential external relationships through existing and new networks and deliver first-class donor stewardship to build a pipeline of high-value business prospects, secure new partners, and nurture existing partners – with the objective of building ongoing regular income and long-term support.
• Develop the DENS Business Partnership Programme as a framework to deliver an engaging and mutually beneficial programme of activity and network of partners, to encourage and inspire support.
• Actively represent DENS at regular networking events, business forums and external meetings to build visibility, grow networks and generate new corporate opportunities.
• Develop, manage and present a range of reporting tools to ensure efficient prospect stewardship, activity planning and income forecasting - to be used to manage and plan progress with Line Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

About the role:

Do you enjoy being the welcoming face of a service, keeping things running smoothly and creating a safe, organised environment for young people? We’re looking for Day Concierges to join our Young People’s Accommodation Pathway in Lewisham and Greenwich, supporting young people aged 16 to 25 to settle, grow in independence and move towards their next home.

This is a key front of house role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and partners, helping to create a calm, professional and supportive atmosphere across the service. Working closely with duty staff, you’ll play a central role in the day to day running of the building, from managing access and handling enquiries to keeping things safe, organised and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door.

In our Greenwich services, you’ll work across multiple sites within the pathway, moving between services as needed and building strong relationships with different teams and clients. You’ll also take the lead on health and safety, voids and maintenance processes, helping to ensure our spaces are safe, well maintained and ready for young people to move into.

About the role:

This is an ideal post for someone with experience and interest in bereavement work, looking to join a forward thinking, new service. This is also a great chance to be working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield and be part of a prison services team in Advance.

Using a trauma informed approached, the Loss & Bereavement Specialist will conduct a person-centred assessment to understand the extent of the client’s emotional needs and the impact of loss due to imprisonment or contact with the criminal justice system whilst also identifying practical and specialist needs. They will work with women to develop a support plan, ensuring they are equipped with information and knowledge about how to navigate possible changes in circumstances related to her children’s care and offer crisis intervention and support during acute phases of loss/bereavement.

The Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker will liaise with the Prison Healthcare team, OMU, visits team and the Family Support Officer to facilitate interactions between women and their children/family members, particularly considering support is in place after visits and that the women’s emotional needs are met in custody and community via our Women’s centres.

The Specialist Worker will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women. They will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.

About You:

To be successful as the Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker you will need the below experience and skills:

Experience of working with bereaved individuals and providing grief counselling including knowledge of various therapeutic modalities relevant to grief counselling

Comprehensive understanding of the grieving process and experience of working with bereaved and loss as well as knowledge of traumatic and complex grief/loss.

An understanding of violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system.

Proven ability and experience as a caseworker delivering trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of vulnerable people in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons

Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines

Senior Caseworker – Pathways

Our vision is a society where all individuals have choice and control to live independently. We provide information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to our clients and their families.

Pathways is a specialised welfare advice service that provides information, advice, advocacy and representation for Disabled adults (over the age of 18) living in the Richmond Borough. We work with clients, supporting them to navigate the complex Housing, Benefits and Social Care systems. In this role, you would be providing information, guidance and advice to Disabled people and their families, enabling them to have more choice and control over their lives.

We are also part of a larger network of Disabled-led advice services. Working together, we have developed pathways for Disabled trainee case workers, collated data on Housing and Benefits issues and have fed into important consultations and campaigns.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Homeless Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. 

Where: Tower Hamlets

Hours: Full time, 37.5hrs per week 

Full Time Salary Range:* £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours 

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st December 2026

*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

Street Outreach & Engagement – Identify and build relationships with rough sleepers and beggars across various locations and times, including those who are disengaged from services.
Assertive Outreach & Support – Work closely with entrenched rough sleepers, encouraging engagement with services and providing rapid assistance.
Substance Use & Healthcare Access – Connect individuals with drug and alcohol support, mental health services, and other healthcare provisions.
Case Management & Housing Support – Oversee service users’ treatment journeys, assist in hospital discharge planning, and collaborate with housing providers to secure appropriate accommodation.
Partnership & Multi-Agency Work – Act as the key link between CGL services, rough sleeping partners, hostels, shelters, the local council, and other support agencies to coordinate care and maximise opportunities for recovery.
Crisis & Emergency Response – Participate in monthly overnight street counts, unsociable-hour shifts, and emergency interventions during severe weather conditions.
Administration & Best Practice – Maintain accurate records, attend case conferences, and contribute to partner tasking meetings to ensure service users receive consistent and effective support.

About you:  

• Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field 

• Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills 

• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills 

• Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice 

• Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders 

• Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users 

• Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards 

• Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others

This role will be based in HMP Bronzefield, leading the development and delivery of specialist domestic abuse/family & significant other support with women impacted by the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Lead on developing an effective domestic abuse/family & significant others intervention for women impacted by the criminal justice system
2. Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to addressing women’s needs
3. Provide expert advice and support to colleagues, including Women in Prison’s influencing team
4. Provide effective leadership to direct report/s, ensuring teams are managed and supported.

Your new role

This Finance Business Partner will be the lead for reporting on Building Safety.

• Provide finance business partnering support and act as the finance lead for building safety reporting, ensuring robust insight around legislation, regulation and remedial programmes.
• Enhance the quality, clarity and impact of building safety financial reporting by producing timely analysis, insightful commentary, and linking financial performance to strategic objectives.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for building safety, preparing accurate annual budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with operational directors, service managers and other budget holders.
• Build strong, effective relationships with budget holders, supporting their understanding of financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and value-for-money requirements.
• Oversee the monitoring of budget changes, ensuring service budgets are incorporated into group reporting, and continually review systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support team leadership by guiding management accountants, providing training and coaching, contributing to workload planning, and acting as deputy to the Head of Financial Business Partnering when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full CCAB/CIMA qualification or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience within the Social Housing sector, ideally building safety or maintenance
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• Strong skills in management accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting
