About the Role
As General Manager, you will play a central role in leading and developing the work of The Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship, raising its profile and ensuring its long-term sustainability. You will oversee the overall management of the charity, alongside the effective operation of the Victoria League Student House.
This is a broad and hands-on leadership position, combining strategic development with day-to-day operational oversight. You will drive key fundraising initiatives and business development opportunities, as well as support the House Manager and their team, and the Membership and Administration Officer.

About the Role
We are looking for a Duty and Triage IDVA to join our team. The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for incoming referrals to Tower Hamlets SASS. As the Duty IDVA you will triage referrals into the Tower Hamlets SASS team, responding to professionals and members of the public. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with external agencies. In addition, you will risk and needs assess and safety plan with survivors of domestic abuse.
About You
The ideal candidate would have demonstrable experience of working with those affected by domestic and/or sexual violence and experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse and vulnerable client group.
You bring a solid understanding of housing, welfare, and policies relating to domestic and sexual violence, alongside strong administrative and time‑management abilities, including confident use of Excel and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks. You’re able to manage a busy and often complex caseload with professionalism and care.
You have a well‑developed understanding of the causes and dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse and the impact this has on victims and survivors. Your approach to work is flexible, empathetic, and grounded in the values of Solace Women’s Aid, with a commitment to empowering those you support.

Role Requirements

As a Lead Worker (Intensive Case Management), you will deliver intensive, person-centred, and holistic support to people who are disadvantaged and need significant support to end their homelessness. You will be collaborating with internal and external colleagues to meet people’s immediate, acute needs and to support them to start taking steps towards ending their homelessness.
We take a bold approach to supporting people and adapt our ways of working when needed to ensure that we are providing impactful, equitable service giving everyone a fair opportunity to receive the support they need. We help people to challenge barriers put up by the system. About this key role
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, our Floating Support Caseworker will be expected to provide essential support, advice and advocacy to young people on accommodation-related needs, including homelessness prevention. You will produce support and risk management plans based on assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and ensure all monitoring information and evidence is being recorded and collated in line with agreed processes and procedures.

About the Role
In this role, you will provide advice, practical assistance and emotional support to women who have experienced domestic abuse, working across two refuge sites. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop tailored support plans and provide key‑working sessions to help survivors build safety and stability.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least two years’ experience supporting this or a similar client group, along with a strong understanding of the diverse needs of women and children. Your work will play a vital part in helping survivors rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
About You
You have a strong understanding of domestic abuse and the ways it affects women and children, enabling you to provide sensitive and informed support. You bring solid organisational skills and basic IT competency, allowing you to manage administrative tasks confidently.
This role is active and hands‑on, so you are comfortable with the physical aspects of working in a refuge environment. You communicate clearly and compassionately, with a polite and empathetic telephone manner that helps ensure women feel heard, respected and supported.

We’re looking for someone with experience designing inclusive and accessible digital products and services, who can test ideas, gather feedback and turn research insights into clear, actionable design decisions. You’ll have experience using and developing design components and patterns that meet user needs and accessibility standards, and in preparing well-documented design assets to support consistent implementation. You’ll be confident generating ideas and facilitating workshops or co-design activities, as well as creating wireframes and prototypes at the right level of detail using tools such as Miro and Figma. A collaborative approach is essential, with strong communication skills, the ability to act on feedback, and experience applying user-centred design principles within multi-disciplinary teams.
