You’ll be right at the heart of our Philanthropy & Partnerships team, uncovering opportunities that fuel transformative global change.
This is more than just a research role - it’s an exciting chance to become a vital part of how we build meaningful relationships with high-value donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners. Using your analytical skills and curiosity, you’ll dig into data, investigate potential supporters, and surface the insights our fundraisers need to connect with those ready to make a difference. Your work will directly shape the way we approach engagement, by identifying new avenues for support and helping to build ethically sound, carefully vetted donor pipelines. You’ll support the team in maintaining high standards of compliance and use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, while also contributing fresh thinking to how we use insight and intelligence across our fundraising strategies.
We are seeking someone with experience of prospect research in a high-value fundraising context, experience, knowledge and understanding of prospect research methods, standards, criteria and tools as well as producing evidenced and persuasive research briefings. Joining our Philanthropy & Partnerships team, you'll help us find new funding opportunities and improve our understanding of current supporters. The role will work across our high value funding streams, including in major gifts, trusts and foundations and companies. Candidates should able to demonstrate a proven track record of completing high quality research quickly and accurately using a variety of research resources, they will have well developed communication and presentation skills and are comfortable using databases.

Role overview:
A pivotal senior position within the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising team, this role works closely with the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to lead key fundraising initiatives and stewardship efforts. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, staff development, and performance management, as well as contributing to strategic planning and budget oversight. The role also leads the delivery of a multi-channel legacy marketing programme and ensures external suppliers meet agreed service levels. The role will line manage two team members, take on broader leadership responsibilities within the department, and actively promote legacy giving across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to shape and implement the overarching strategy and budget, with a key focus on expanding the supporter pipeline, increasing In Memory donations, and safeguarding long-term Legacy income.
- Offer expert advice and strategic input to design integrated, personalised supporter journeys that prioritise exceptional supporter experiences, drawing on industry best practices and working closely with internal teams and external agency partners.
- Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel Legacy and In Memory fundraising campaigns—across acquisition and stewardship—including DRTV, press, print, and digital; monitor performance and report progress against defined KPIs and milestones.
Person Specification: - Deep expertise in all areas of Legacy and In-Memory fundraising, underpinned by strong knowledge and hands-on experience within the sector
- Extensive track record of successfully managing multiple campaigns across various channels—meeting and exceeding revenue targets, crafting compelling copy, overseeing third-party suppliers, and using data insights effectively, all while ensuring full regulatory and compliance adherence
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and management of fundraising strategies
- Proven excellence as a highly organised and effective project manager, capable of leading multiple complex projects simultaneously while prioritising workload efficiently
- Strong financial management capabilities, including experience in budget management, creating spending plans, and delivering accurate financial reporting

ActionAid UK is looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Senior Trusts Manager to lead on foundation partnerships across the UK and Liechtenstein, focusing on building long-term, high-value relationships that directly fund our work with women and girls living in poverty.

This pivotal role offers the chance to deliver accurate audit services, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute significantly to the governance and risk management of the two local authorities.
As a Senior Auditor, you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting work in accordance with Public Sector Internal Audit Standards (PSIAS)
- Delivering a personal audit plan focused on complex areas, providing valuable advice and assurance to both Councils each year
- Leading and supervising audits conducted by Auditors and Trainees, ensuring quality and adherence to professional standards.
