Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across the organisation.
- Drive performance by setting clear expectations and evaluating outcomes.

- Act as a key ambassador and representative for CAN, deputising for the Chief Executive as required.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and secure new income streams, strengthening our financial sustainability

Hampshire Social Inclusion Lot 2 - provides supported accommodation to adults, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across three locations. Each is tailored to the needs of the clients and offer various levels of support. This service also provides community support to individuals who are having difficulty maintaining their tenancy in their own accommodation in Fareham and Gosport.
Our aim is to provide person-centred support to our clients, empowering them to gain the life skills they require to move on to more independent living as well as preventing evictions.

The Dollywood Foundation UK runs Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the UK, the worlds largest book gifting programme. Over the last 30 years the Imagination Library has delivered nearly 300 million books to children globally. In the UK we support over 60k children a month, delivering them a free book sent to their house every month.
The primary purpose of this new role is to increase registrations for the Imagination Library initially across London. This role will support our Local Programme Partners to reach families with whom they are not currently engaging.

We have a steadfast belief that inspiring a love of reading in children can bring joy, love, and measurable individual, family and societal benefits. We are driven by Dolly Parton’s mantra that you “can’t put enough books into the hands of enough children”.
It is an exciting time for the Dollywood Foundation. We have recently received a new investment to allow us to scale our Imagination Library programme across London. As families across the capital become eligible for free books, we need to make every effort to ensure families know about the programme and sign up.
This role is integral to that plan, working with local authority and community organisations to spread the word about the programme. The role holder will need to be passionate about books and supporting children’s development. They will hold brilliant relationship building skills to engage local communities and overcome any barriers to families enrolling.
We are a remote team with no fixed office. While this role will be based from home, regular travel across London will be required. The role holder will need to be based in London or surrounding areas to allow for the frequent travel.

Location, hours and benefits

We are recruiting for a creative and dynamic qualified counsellor to join our team of therapists as a Community Counsellor based in Horsham. We are seeking someone who has experience working with children and young people between the ages of 11-18 years old.
Our counsellor’s offer assessments and counselling sessions to children and young people within the newly commissioned ‘blended’ tier 2 Counselling Service for young people aged 11-18 with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The role represents the operational face of the service in community settings and the post holder will be required to support children / young people accessing provision within the emotional well-being pathway

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience
We are recruiting a qualified counsellor, who has experience working with children and young people, delivering face to face counselling and carrying out assessments with young people to include working with high risk and complex issues. You will have a graduate or post-graduate level Counselling Diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of two years post-qualifying experience. You will also need to be BACP Registered/Accredited or registered with another recognised professional body (e.g. HPC, UKCP). You will be able to work within the framework of an 6-session model and carry out individual assessments, offer face-to-face counselling or online counselling and group work to children and young people.
The successful applicant will have experience of managing risk, with effective communication around safeguarding procedures. You will also have experience of multi-disciplinary team working and knowledge of local statutory and voluntary agencies. You will also have experience of using electronic database for case management notes and administrative tasks to include monitoring and evaluation.
