In this role, you will actively seek and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and maintaining existing accounts, ensuring a steady and growing stream of revenue. We are seeking a Finance Assistant with excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, and good inter-personal skills to join our friendly Finance Team of Yeldall Manor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for helping others to join a Christian organisation dedicated to supporting men in their recovery journey.

As the Finance Assistant, you will assist with accounts payable/receivable and bank/cash reconciliations, and assist the Finance Team with administrative tasks using Excel (and accounts software). You will support our residents in the management of their money and benefits and accompany them to relevant appointments.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian organisation, and this role requires a committed Christian faith to meet the occupational requirements (in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010). ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading and developing RABI’s philanthropy and partnerships donor base, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners as well as legacy and in-memory supporters (larger funders).

This plays a pivotal role in shaping RABI’s fundraising strategy, identifying major funding opportunities and creating impactful engagement strategies to secure long-term financial support for the charity’s sustainability.

Relationship building is key to this position, communicating effectively with our donors by enhancing and strengthening relations through cultivation tactics and deepening relationships to ensure robust support from these influential stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Philanthropy and Partnerships (P&P) fundraising strategy to drive RABI’s fundraising activities and support long-term sustainability. This includes overseeing the cultivation and stewardship of major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners as well as legacy and in-memory supporters (larger funders).
• Report on income and expenditure targets, ensuring targets are met and assisting with budget setting.
• Cultivate, solicit and steward relationships with larger funders, ensuring strong and sustained engagement.
• Develop tailored proposals and partnership packages aligned with potential partners’ priorities and interests.
• Manage, identify and build relationships with key corporate funders, negotiate and manage agreements, ensuring clear communication of expected deliverables.

• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR the CIOF Code of Fundraising Practice and RABI’s internal policies. Make certain the charity’s best practices are upheld in all donor interactions and fundraising activities.
• Responsibility for line management, providing guidance, support and performance feedback to ensure the development and success of team members.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including fundraising, communications, service delivery, business development and external affairs to identify project funding opportunities, share donor insights and collaborate and support the development of other fundraising initiatives.
• Take part and contribute to team meetings.
• Actively participate in the staff appraisal scheme and be committed to training and development in line with RABI’s aims and objectives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Essential

• Demonstrable experience in a senior fundraising role, with a proven track record in securing major funds from larger funders.
• Exceptional major donor management skills, with experience in donor stewardship, partnership development and engagement strategies that build long-term relationships.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of targeting, segmentation and response analysis.Persuasive written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling applications, proposals and donor communications. Capable of tailoring messaging for different audiences and ensuring clarity, consistency and emotional impact.
• Experience of managing a fundraising team and assisting with recruitment and team development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
• A strategic outlook with the ability to identify fundraising opportunities and take the initiative to drive growth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics). Familiarity with fundraising platforms and donor management systems.

About the role

As an Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be the first point of contact for someone who comes to Crisis for help to prevent or end their homelessness. You will:

• Welcome them to the service on site and at partner agencies,

• Listen carefully and non-judgementally to their story,

• Complete thorough Crisis and Mainstay assessments using a trauma informed approach,

• Agree realistic options and the support needed to assist them to prevent their homelessness or a pathway out of homelessness.

• Help them formulate a holistic plan and help them take the initial steps, where necessary.

• Hold a caseload of members who require short term intervention to end their homelessness.

About you

• Experience of working successfully with disadvantaged/or socially excluded groups and individuals, utilising a psychologically informed approach.

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service, ensuring accessible, welcoming, and safe ‘front of house’ environment in a busy service.

• Experience of assessing presenting needs, and an understanding of strengths-based assessments. You will have empathy and understanding of the barriers to accessing services.

• Ability to manage successful relationships with external agencies and relevant service providers and successfully advocate on members behalf.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to ensure accurate record keeping on a variety of Case Management Systems/Databases.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

This role provides overnight waking cover to ensure the safety, security, and smooth running of properties within the Cluster and on-call night hub. You will conduct regular health and safety checks, monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to emergencies, and contact on-call managers or emergency services when required. The role includes supporting clients in crisis, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating access to emergency or ongoing support.

Acting calmly and professionally at all times, you will ensure a safe, supportive environment for clients while adhering to Hestia's health, safety, and safeguarding policies.

Here's what the team will be looking for

You bring strong experience in delivering high-quality customer service within supported or accommodation-based settings, ensuring that service users feel respected, safe, and supported at all times. You demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations relevant to housing environments, alongside a basic knowledge of housing management, including maintenance, repairs, and the ability to monitor and report any property-related issues promptly.

You have proven experience in working with individuals with mental health needs, with a solid understanding of the signs, symptoms, and treatments of mental illness. You are confident in recognising when a client's mental health is deteriorating and taking the appropriate action to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

You are proficient in maintaining accurate records related to both premises and clients, using computer-based systems and demonstrating strong IT skills across Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet applications. Your good literacy and numeracy skills enable you to produce clear written correspondence and manage basic financial transactions, such as petty cash, with accuracy and accountability.

You work in line with safeguarding policies, applying your understanding of safeguarding principles to ensure the protection and welfare of all service users. Overall, you combine professionalism, attention to detail, and empathy to deliver safe, efficient, and person-centred support within accommodation-based mental health services.

When will I be working?

You will be working a shift rota, covering evenings, 39 hours per week, including some weekend shifts.

We’re looking for a caring, motivated and hands-on Community Worker to join our team. You’ll help run our Soup Kitchen sessions at St Peter’s Church in Blackpool’s South Shore, making sure food preparation, service and cleanup run smoothly. The Miscarriage of Justice Support Service is a very unique service providing a broad range of support and advice to people whose criminal convictions are quashed by the Court of Appeal. The majority of people have been in prison for many years and need extensive help and support to begin to rebuild their lives based on their own individual needs.

One of our caseworkers is going on a sabbatical, which this role will cover, including 2 weeks of handover at the start, and 1 week at the end.

The role will support individuals in a broad range of areas including welfare benefits, housing, navigating access to GPs, mental health support, community services, and applying for grants or essentials post-release (e.g. white goods, clothing).

About the Role

To work as part of a team that delivers an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Our work is underpinned by the Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of this is to ensure that every client leaves the service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.

Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for managing the building to ensure that the accommodation provided to the clients is safe and secure through the provision of overnight concierge service, security and door control. This includes controlling access to buildings, being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning.

Key responsibilities include:

• You will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
• You will provide a basic first contact advice response and security service at night to clients living in the property and/or in dispersed accommodation linked to the service
• You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night
• You will be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards on the premises and a point of information for clients regarding Health and Safety at night
• You will actively ensure the security of the building through regular checks, and monitoring.

About You

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

• An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.

The purpose of the Finance and Data Manager role is to support their financial and operational decision-making processes. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Data Systems, this role is responsible for the timely and accurate production of management accounts and data reporting across the organisation. The Finance and Data Manager will be required to use their strong financial acumen, technical proficiency in data analysis tools, and ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
