About the Role

This exciting new role will be central to amplifying the voices of our current and future members, ensuring their lived experiences and needs shape our work.

This role will use our CRM system and a range of communication types and channels to foster lifelong engagement, support campaigns, and strengthen relationships with our partners and healthcare professionals.

Duties & responsibilities

• Use our CRM system, along with online and face-to-face communications.
• Coordinate member engagement and communications across services, fundraising, academy, and campaigns, using targeted segments of our membership.
• Work with colleagues to develop a membership hub that:
• Support the CRM and member engagement manager in maintaining an accurate, up-to-date, and GDPR-compliant database.
• Manage subscription payments for our magazine, FORWARD, including sending renewal reminders by email and post.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The service provides 24 hours supported accommodation for high needs mental health service users. It compromises of 11 units which offers higher levels of 
support in comparison to the wider supported living pathway. Service users at Teresa House may have treatment resistant mental health needs that are complicated by substance misuse, challenging behaviour including low level offending and long-term physical health conditions. All support is delivered in-line with the principles of trauma-informed recovery/empowerment/co-production.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting people with mental health and complex needs, with substance misuse experience desirable. They should have a strong understanding of recovery approaches and co-production, with the ability to design and deliver activities that build confidence, reduce anxiety, and support a self-directed recovery journey.

They must be resilient, maintaining high service standards in challenging situations, and have knowledge of legislation relevant to mental health crises, including welfare reform, the Care Act, and housing pathways. Skills in assessment, co-producing support and safety plans, and auditing them are essential.

Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems is required, along with good knowledge of basic building safety and repairs. The candidate should have excellent spoken and written English, be able to handle petty cash accurately, and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

About the role

We are seeking a Sustainability and Evaluation Officer to play a vital role in helping us build the foundations of our sustainability and impact work during a key period of organisational development and change. 

Reporting to our Sustainability and Impact Lead, this role will provide essential analytical, coordination, and stakeholder engagement support as we: 

• Develop and implement a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework 

• Complete our first environmental and social impact baseline assessment

We are recruiting a Casework Coordinator to deliver support services to people seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or sex characteristics.

We now have an opportunity for a Casework Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in helping women seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation improve their ability and resilience to cope with the challenges they face and build support networks.

This role will receive full training and support as required to deliver your responsibilities, including:

• Facilitating regular support group meetings of women who are seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation
• Providing one-to-one emotional and practical support primarily to LBTQI+ women who are seeking asylum
• Assisting service users to access health services and accommodation

• Sharing your knowledge and experience by providing advice, guidance and training to other organisations working with LGBTQI+ people who are seeking asylum

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week). Working part-time (minimum 21 hours a week) or job-sharing will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £31,294 FTE with potential annual step increases up to £35,086 (pro rata if working part-time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. By providing high quality governance and administrative support you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. Key Tasks

 Overseeing our Governance & Administration:

The Welfare Benefits Caseworker is responsible for delivering a comprehensive Welfare Benefits Advisory Service to individuals and families in need. The caseworker will provide support and guidance to clients in understanding and accessing welfare benefits, ensuring they receive the appropriate financial assistance and support, including support with welfare benefits mandatory considerations, and appeals.
