What you’ll do: 

✅ Running a large, high density shop efficiently and profitably, maximising sales, Gift Aid, and round-up donations

✅ Leading and inspiring a team including an Assistant Manager (3 days/week), a Sales Assistant, and a team of volunteers

What you’ll need: 

• Retail management experience (charity retail experience is a bonus, but not essential)

• Experience handling cash, banking, and financial reporting

Mission Director

Do you have a heart for God’s global mission, a head for strategy implementation and a passion to see global mission movements catalysed? Are you ready to help co-create mission activities in a number of edge contexts around the world? Are you good at influencing and leading people? If so, then you might be just the right person to take on the key role of Mission Director with Church Mission Society (CMS).

Like many mission organisations, in recent years CMS has gone through a process of decentralisation and localisation, resulting in the establishment of CMS-Africa and Asia-CMS within their respective regions. In addition, while CMS once worked primarily through placing people from the West in cross-cultural contexts, we’ve broadened our approach to include supporting local mission organisations and their mission personnel, partnership grant-making and network-building. We particularly want to do this in edge contexts around the world: those places where Jesus’ name is rarely heard or where the church struggles to be.

As a member of the senior leadership team (SLT) of CMS, the Mission Director will play a key part in leading this strategic direction to success together with the CEO, the rest of the SLT, international partners and the mission team.

This post has an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a practising and committed Christian, committed to the aims, values and the ethos statement of CMS. Hours, salary and benefits:

· Permanent and full time (35 hours per week)

· Hybrid working: at least two days a week at CMS House, Oxfordshire

· Starting salary is circa £60,000 per annum depending on experience with a generous pension contribution: up to 10 per cent employer contribution on annual salary

Your role

The Project Officer supports the effective delivery of HACT’s community-focused programmes, with a particular emphasis on operational coordination, partner engagement, and service administration. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the role ensures that project activities—such as voucher distribution, data management, and partner communications—are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with organisational standards.

This role blends project management and client relationship management, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively, with a primary focus on ensuring HACT successfully delivers the objectives for the Fuel Fund programme. The postholder will act as a key point of contact for partners, manage administrative processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and administer the delivery of HACT’s community support projects, with a focus on the Fuel Fund and related initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing of partner requests and maintaining strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders. The Project Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that residents receive support efficiently via our partners, while contributing to the overall success and impact of HACT’s programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general administration of the Fuel Fund
• Be the primary point of contact for all Fuel Fund queries (internal and external)
• Manage Expression of Interest requests from Housing Associations, local authorities and third sector organisations, ensuring they meet the qualifying criteria and terms of the Fund
• Manage voucher requests, ensuring they meet qualifying criteria, and issuing to referral partners across the UK
• Manage, and evolve as needed, quality control processes
• Manage collation of reporting data from Housing Associations and other referral partners
• Analyse multiple data sets and produce reports on the Fuel Fund for HACT and external stakeholders
• Provide updates to key HACT staff about distribution progress
• Feed informal and formal progress updates and reporting information to HACT Communications and Marketing colleagues, working with them to communicate project learning and opportunities
• Work closely with colleagues in the wider Communities team to support housing association engagement with HACT’s work and to support key team-wide activity such as the annual Community Investment conference

Required Skills

Essential

• Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with an ability to engage, communicate and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience of managing multi-partner/ stakeholder projects and knowledge of project management tools and methods.
• Excellent data analysis skills.
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrable track record of preparing and producing data analysis and reports.
• Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and work independently to drive projects through to completion.
• NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)

Desirable

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience working in a charity, social enterprise or local government supporting communities facing hardship
• Experience using organisation-wide CRM systems and utilizing these to manage personal data and project delivery

Job Accountabilities

Complete fuel fund and voucher allocations as per agreed timelines.

Ensure projects operate with a sufficient number of sector partners, for example the number of housing associations referring into the fuel fund.

Monitor and review project reach and impact, using this learning to shape any new methods of delivery, e.g. pilots with other sector partners to reach new audiences.

Collaborate with colleagues to communicate the project opportunities and learning at regular intervals, contributing to the wider thought leadership and collaboration objectives of the Communities team.

Maintain positive relationships with project funder(s), by sharing project data in line with agreements.

Ensure high quality delivery of the project, ensuring robust systems are in place to record activity and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of the project, improving systems as needed, to support partner engagement and voucher redemption.

Coordinate and lead day to day communications with sector partners participating in the project and ensure feedback is collected and reviewed from project partners and beneficiaries.

The Fuel Fund programme must have dedicated resource at all times during the working week (Monday Friday) and as such, annual leave needs to be coordinated with colleagues in the team to ensure the programme is sufficiently resourced throughout the year.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based within the Non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials.  This service does have step free access.

Salary: £31,700

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, hours may be extended 08:00 - 18:00. You may also be required to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
• Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management

The Governance Team at the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is a dynamic six-person team at the centre of the organisation’s operations. We’re looking for a Governance Assistant to join us in delivering high-quality support across our devolved nations work and wider governance functions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Offering committee servicing for other boards and meetings across the RCR.
• Playing a key role in the Annual General Meeting, website updates, and member communications.

Trust and Grants Manager

As Trusts & Grants Manager, you’ll play a key role in powering the Youth Zone’s mission to give thousands of young people somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding role at the heart of the Fundraising Team, where you’ll help generate over £1.4 million each year to keep the Youth Zone running. You’ll lead on writing compelling bids and funding proposals that unlock both unrestricted income and targeted project support – from mental health to employability to sports and creative programmes.

You’ll have access to a wealth of impact data, real stories, and a ready-made case for support – and you’ll be encouraged to bring your creativity, energy and ambition to every application. You’ll collaborate with an experienced, passionate team and be supported by the Head of Fundraising & Communications, the CEO, and a dedicated Board of Trustees who believe deeply in what we do.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead on identifying, writing, and submitting high-quality funding applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory funders, securing both unrestricted income and project-specific funding aligned with strategic priorities
• Develop compelling proposals that articulate the impact of the Youth Zone’s work, leveraging live data, case studies, and feedback from youth workers to bring applications to life
• Work collaboratively across departments to ensure funding needs are clearly understood and prioritised, maintaining regular communication with delivery leads to shape project bids that reflect current and emerging needs
• Build and manage relationships with funders, developing stewardship plans that include timely reporting, in-person or virtual engagement, and opportunities for funder visits to the Youth Zone
• Act as a passionate advocate for the Youth Zone, representing the charity at networking events, funder meetings, and promotional visits, and supporting the wider fundraising team on campaigns and events when needed.

About You

You will have experience of:

• Writing successful funding applications or proposals, ideally in the voluntary or public sector, securing four- and five-figure gifts from trusts, foundations, or statutory sources
• Managing a fundraising pipeline or prospect list, from initial research through to application and stewardship, using a CRM system such as Salesforce to track progress and outcomes
• Collaborating across teams, particularly with delivery, finance, or impact colleagues, to gather information and develop compelling bids grounded in real-world delivery
• Producing high-quality donor reports, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations through clear narrative, data, and case studies

About the Organisation

This is a brand-new locally run youth charity, set to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, try something new and feel safe. With community centric values and located in the heart of Grimsby, it will be an inspiring place for young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure. The building is due to be completed in 2025.

Community Fundraiser

We have an exciting opening for a full time Community Fundraiser within our friendly and supportive Income Generation Team, based at our site in Farnham, Surrey. This energising role will see you supporting individuals and groups within our local community, to organise their own events and fundraise for our vital care. It’s a fun and varied role and no two weeks are the same.

You need to be someone who’s compassionate but can bring bags of energy to the position! One day you might be supporting someone to open their garden or hold an afternoon tea and the next you’ll be dressing up and joining the team to deliver our Reindeer Run’s at local schools. There’s also the space for you to think creatively and bring new fundraising ideas and campaigns to our community fundraising calendar.

We’re looking to appoint an enthusiastic and positive individual who is great at communicating and confident at building relationships. You’ll also need to have excellent presenting skills to motivate and inspire our supporters. The service will focus on identifying service gaps across Birmingham to enable families to access Early Help and support, through the application of Early Help.  You will play a key role in leading quality assurance and the day–to–day delivery of the service, providing effective management and leadership to a team of Early Help Support Workers and Early Help Development Workers. As the Service Manager, you will be required to work in partnership with the Operational Manager to support the strategic development of the integrated service offer for children and families living in the West of Birmingham. As the Service Manager, you will be working as a part of a management team and be accountable for the quality standards in the service, building and sustaining professional relationships with all stakeholders.
