About the role:

As our HRIS technical lead, you'll play a key role in improving how we manage and use people data, ensuring our systems are accurate, efficient, and aligned with the Museum's evolving needs. You'll be the go-to expert for HRIS support, data analysis, and system enhancements, helping us deliver a high-quality service to our teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking transformation programme, working closely with our People Systems and Payroll Manager, and Head of People Transformation.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Be the technical expert for the HRIS providing support and coaching to colleagues and new users, reporting any required fixes, testing and support continuous development of the HRIS.
• Provide project support with the delivery of the HRIS project, including but not limited to the design, procurement and implementation of a modern and future-focussed HRIS.
• Ensure data integrity through the use and creation of validation reports to identify and correct issues, errors and anomalies in relation to post, employee, pay and reporting lines.
• Cleanse, prepare and analyse people related data to support the production of the People Management Reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Main Duties

• Provide strategic HR support and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring policies and procedures are well understood and applied consistently. 
• Share best practices and drive consistency in HR practices across global teams.
• Support leadership meetings by delivering insights and assessing People & Culture needs proactively. 
• Advise on complex employee relations issues, including performance management, conduct, capability, and grievance handling. 
• Oversee our relationship with our Employer of Record (EOR) including, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of payroll processes in line with legal and organisational requirements.

Operations Assistant (Full Time – Office Based)  

Job Purpose:
The Operations Assistant provides support to the HR and Operations Manager by taking day to day responsibility, under guidance, for various facilities, safety and administrative processes, including HR administration, as well as responsiblity for locking/unlocking of meeting rooms, routine health and safety tasks and other matters that contribute to making the office a pleasant and functional environment in which to work. 

The duties will also include giving regular support to the Fulfilment Manager and under their guidance, process orders and support with despatch and deliveries, in addition to providing holiday cover, when the Fulfilment Manager is away.

Many aspects of this role require Manual Handling.

Purpose of the job

The Senior Hr & Operations Officer is responsible for the charity’s day to day HR and operational functions to ensure efficiency and compliance. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding and mandatory training records whilst maintaining accurate HR records.

Operational responsibilities include co-ordinating office administration, procurement and facilities management to ensure a safe, productive workplace. 1. Maintain employee records in line with GDPR principles and confidentiality requirements

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of Development and Alumni Relations team at the University of Southampton, creating and delivering a range of strategic communications for our alumni and supporter community.

Due to launch in 2027, this will be our biggest fundraising campaign ever, with a target of £100m. One of our key fundraising focusses will be the Institute for Medical Innovation; we will raise £50m to build this groundbreaking facility, which will address the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges through interdisciplinary research. We are looking for an experienced communications professional to support us with creating engaging communications. You will be responsible for activities such as: 

• Developing compelling propositions
• Delivering the communications to support major gift prospect fundraising events, from creating invitations and shaping the themes, through to developing event materials and briefing speakers 
• Creating and editing a wide range of communications pieces for our major gift prospect audience, from written case studies through to web content and video 
• Managing the development and execution of new creative for the Campaign for Southampton
• Sourcing new stories and gathering information through interviews and desk research

This is a part-time role, working four days a week (but will consider 3.5 days), on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. · Understand the legal and reporting obligations of the Brazelton Centre UK as a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and be responsible for ensuring the Centre meets these obligations including for example filing of annual accounts.

· Work with the Board of Trustees, Director, fundraising colleagues and partner organisations to increase voluntary income to the Centre to fund and trial innovative new services and research opportunities in line with our strategy

·Ensure HR policies are reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and best practice. Develop new policies that are fit for purpose, legally compliant, and embedded within the team. 

·Update, maintain and develop employee handbook, HR templates, processes, and systems to support the delivery of an effective HR function. 

·Manage HR systems ensuring all records are maintained accurately and comply with GDPR.

·Day to day line management of a number of the Brazelton Centre staff including the development of objectives, work plans and monitoring ongoing performance, the management of annual leave and sickness and absence monitoring.

·Oversee the entire employee lifecycle - from induction to exit - while implementing talent retention strategies, performance management systems, and succession planning. 

·Oversee organisational volunteer management, ensuring compliance with policies and alignment with strategic objectives

Support the planning and further development of the Brazelton Centre UK, working to continually extend the reach of our existing NBO and NBAS courses.

·Work with the Director and Board of Trustees, to develop and implement the Brazelton Centre UK’s long-term strategy, and be responsible for the development and delivery of the supporting business plan.

In line with our strategy, where relevant, support the Director to seek new projects, research and funding opportunities related to the aims of the Centre

Promote the activities of the Brazelton Centre UK in enabling the highest standards of service delivery

As required support the Director with engaging with the appropriate resources and media to promote and develop services offered by the Brazelton Centre UK.

This role will involve working closely with managers and staff to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective people management practices.

• Provide timely and consistent advice to managers on all aspects of employment, including recruitment, employee relations, and policy compliance
