Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training across the UK. They will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of organisations and families.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
They will be able to demonstrate the impact of this work by working with organisations to collate case studies and evidence to support the programmes achievements.

The ACNS is a key senior role within the Nursing team, acting as the clinical specialist lead and overseeing the community nursing service for a defined area on a rotation basis (non-clinical).
Working with an integrated team of nurses, you will contribute to the overall care of patient and families referred to St Giles within the community setting.
As a team member, you will contribute to a positive supportive working environment with an emphasis on team work and cooperation. You will participate in a rota system providing a 7 day a week, face to face and telephone service for patients and their families and, in the out of hours rota, providing telephone advice and support. This may include visiting out of hours in exceptional circumstances.
It is anticipated that the work plan will be 80% clinical (clinical management) 10% Service Development and 10% Education and Teaching.
The role includes activities such as audit, quality and risk management initiatives and Nurses working at an advanced level will:
·Practice autonomously and be self-directed
·Appropriately analyse complex situations
·Undertake assessment of individuals using a range of different assessment methods, which may include physical examination, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests or advanced health needs assessment.
·Draw on a diverse range of knowledge in their decision-making to determine evidence based therapeutic interventions; this may include prescribing medication and actively monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
·Actively seek and participate in peer reviews of their own practice
·Appropriately define the boundaries of their practice and understand the parameters of their professional role.
Promote and participate in the implementation of the local and national strategies and St Giles core standards.
Qualifications

· First level nurse

We are recruiting for two Peer Support Leads (Birmingham and immediate surrounding areas):
The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.
Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C?
We are looking for passionate and skilled peer leads who have excellent communication and organisational skills. We require a good standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work.
Working as part of a growing team providing services to people living with hepatitis C, this post will expand delivery of the Hepatitis C peer project, recruiting and supporting volunteer peers across Birmingham and immediate surrounding areas to raise awareness, promote harm reduction approaches, and proactively increase HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) testing, treatment, and care for marginalised communities.
This post will require extensive travel across the region, and it is desirable, but not essential for the post holder to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.
