Purpose of the role:

The Junior Salesforce Administrator role supports the effective use and ongoing development of the Churchill Fellowship’s Salesforce CRM platform and related applications. Working closely with the Salesforce Team and other internal teams, you will ensure our data remains accurate and accessible, help to improve business processes, and provides user support and training across the organisation. You will play a key part in ensuring Salesforce functions as the single source of truth for organisational data. 

Key responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration and Support:

• Support day-to-day Salesforce user needs, including responding to support tickets and troubleshooting.
• Maintain data quality through duplicate management, validation rules, and standardised field formatting.
• Assist with regular data cleaning activities and updates to system records. 
• Help to prepare technical documentation and user guidance materials. 
• Contribute to routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and third-party app integrations (e.g., FormAssembly, Conga). 
• Support data reporting and dashboards to ensure teams can access reliable insights. 
• Collaborate on developing and refining automated processes using Flows and other Salesforce tools.

Grant & Event Technical Support:

• Assist with the technical setup of grant-related processes in Salesforce, including automations and applicant communications. 
• Support the Events and Development teams with Salesforce Campaign setup, RSVP forms, and invitation tracking. 
• Help ensure integrations and automations run smoothly before, during, and after events. 
• Monitor engagement and follow-up activities through reports and dashboards.

Systems Training & Team Support:

• Provide training and onboarding support to help new and existing staff understand and use Salesforce effectively.
• Contribute to the identification of system improvement opportunities to support organisational needs. 
• Work with internal teams to ensure data protocols are followed and support the development of efficient processes. 
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning by proactively offering ideas for improvements.

Strategy and planning

• Deliver the existing Community and Events strategy and maximise opportunities for income growth

Fundraising events management

• Manage delivery of the event portfolio to achieve financial and sign-up targets, delivering effective on the-day support for event participants. This includes ensuring our events are accessible for visually impaired participants

• Deliver excellent supporter care to ensure supporters are motivated to achieve (and exceed) their fundraising targets, feel valued and build engagement with us 

• Key point of contact for high level event participants and community fundraisers via face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails – providing timely and personalised support

• Support the Events and Community Officer with enquiries, applications and registrations for challenge events, ensuring high levels of conversion, and capturing relevant supporter data 

• Support the Head of Community and Engagement, or other teams within Fight for Sight with the successful delivery of key special events, including fundraising gala dinners or receptions, virtual events and mini conferences, and third party or established supporter events.

• When required, support the Events and Community Officer in managing guest lists, enquiries, and ticket sales for special/major donor events and receptions, delivering a seamless guest experience and timely follow-ups supporter care and relationship management

Marketing 

• Oversee all paid Facebook advertising activity for events, updating web listings, and utilising our networks

• Work with the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness/increase recruitment across all activities, highlighting case studies and media stories 

• Develop and deliver effective and engaging content, and materials for supporters to increase recruitment, retention, and average fundraising amounts

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the internal communication team at London Fire Brigade. The team is in the process of modernising and streamlining the organisation’s communication channels to improve the experience for firefighters, other operational colleagues, and headquarters teams.

Modernisation and evolution of our digital channels is a key part of our ambition. The team is in the process of piloting digital screens in fire stations, with a view to rolling out an agile system to all 102 fire stations across London.

Alongside this, the team is rationalising regular newsletters into more agile online publications, and evaluating opportunities to better use app-based communication within a growing digital channels portfolio. We are continuously improving our SharePoint-based intranet and looking for ways to make it easier and more intuitive for colleagues to find the information they need to do their roles, and to keep up with the latest developments across the Brigade.

The role is London-based and requires at least 40% in-office working to facilitate collaborative working with stakeholders.

This role provides an opportunity for an excellent digital communications practitioner to lead the development and delivery of our internal digital communications strategy, and to extend their capability and experience as part of a can-do, friendly team.

This is an exciting opportunity to steer Asylum Aid at an important time in its 30-year existence. As Executive Director you will be responsible for delivering on our strategy for impact. You will oversee our work to increase access to expert, trauma-informed legal representation to those in the asylum, trafficking and statelessness systems and lead our policy and strategic legal work to achieve systemic change that contributes towards our vision.

You will line manage the Director of Legal Casework to oversee the provision of supportive and enabling leadership to Asylum Aid caseworkers so that they can continue to deliver high quality expert advice in complex cases, while being supported in their professional development and wellbeing. You will also manage and develop the work of our welfare advice team within the Westminster Advice Services Partnership and beyond, and work collaboratively with colleagues in the sector to build capacity and increase our impact. 

The ideal candidate, who may be legally qualified, will have experience of leadership in the charity/NGO sector and a sound understanding of the asylum, human rights and trafficking processes in the UK and the legal frameworks which govern the protection of refugees, survivors of trafficking and stateless people, and of the role of law in achieving system change.

We are looking for someone who is strategically minded and passionate about providing supportive and inclusive leadership to our expert team. You will be committed to our objectives and to the role which expert legal representation plays in enabling people in need of protection in the UK to obtain it.

As is the nature of this sector, the role may be exposed to a high volume of traumatic and distressing material and, whilst they will be supported by the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO and surrounding team, the candidate should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of good self-care principles in an intense work environment and dissemination of those principles to junior members of the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

Leadership and strategy

 

·Be responsible, with the support of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO, for the development, implementation and monitoring of Asylum Aid’s organisational strategy

·Provide leadership and strategic direction at Asylum Aid in accordance with its aims and objectives, with the support of the Director of Legal Casework

·Act as external spokesperson for Asylum Aid, maintaining and strengthening Asylum Aid’s position as a leader in the refugee rights, statelessness and legal aid sectors;

·Work collaboratively with others in the sector to promote and strengthen Asylum Aid’s work, identify and establish potential partnerships, with the support of the Director of Legal Casework;

·Work collaboratively with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO and Executive Leadership team to drive the implementation of the Group strategic framework;

·Ensure that all reporting and monitoring requirements are met to support fundraising, contract compliance and monitoring strategic impact;

·Support the cross collaboration of the Asylum Aid team with the Helen Bamber Foundation team and play an active part in the management of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group.

 

Governance  

·Act as the Data Protection Supervisor with responsibility for data protection and cyber security within Asylum Aid

·Together with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO and designated safeguarding leads, be responsible for child and adult safeguarding within Asylum Aid

·In collaboration with the Director of Legal Casework, ensure compliance by Asylum Aid with all legal and regulatory obligations, including the Legal Aid Agency contract, the Immigration Advice Authority and Solicitors Regulation Authority;

·Lead on the preparation and presentation of quarterly reports on Asylum Aid’s activities, strategy and risks to the Asylum Aid Board, the Finance and Fundraising Committee and the People and Governance Committee;

·Lead on the preparation of the Trustees’ annual report and ensure that monitoring and evaluation systems are adequate to enable reporting on Asylum Aid’s activities and impact.

 

Management and Supervision 

 

·Responsible for line management of the Director of Legal Casework and Welfare Advice service coordinator, and other team supervisors as required;

·Together with the Group Director of People, responsible for Human Resources and implementation of the People Strategy within Asylum Aid, including development and implementation of HR policies and procedures;

·Together with the Director of Legal Casework and team supervisors, drive the effective management and supervision of the Asylum Aid team and ensure that they comply with relevant professional standards and accreditation;

·Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture at Asylum Aid in which each member feels valued and supported to develop professionally and to perform to the best of their ability;

·Ensure the team’s well-being and that self-care practices are established and work in tandem with the Director of Legal Casework and supervisors to ensure trauma-informed ways of working.

 

Policy & Strategic Legal Work

 

·Together with the Group Director of Policy, identify policy priorities and coordinate the preparation of evidence and briefings drawing on Asylum Aid’s experience and expertise to influence system change;

·Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with sector colleagues to support joint strategic engagement including policy advocacy and strategic legal work;

·Work closely with the Director of Legal Casework and team supervisors to drive changes in the UK asylum, trafficking and statelessness systems through strategic legal work.

 

Finance & Fundraising

 

·Work closely with the CEO and the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Finance Team to set and manage budget(s) and general financial matters for Asylum Aid

·Together with the Director of Legal Casework and the Group Finance Team, establish systems for monitoring legal aid Work In Progress and billing, and securing casework income including legal aid, and inter partes income from judicial review cases;

·Work closely with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Fundraising and Communications Team to secure funding for Asylum Aid from a range of sources including trusts and foundations, corporate philanthropy and major donors;

·Ensure that Legal Aid and other income is maximised, and targets are achieved.

Other duties

·Manage the recruitment and supervision of volunteers where necessary in collaboration with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Volunteers Coordinator;

·Support the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Facilities team to ensure the smooth running of the office and that the facilities meet the needs of Asylum Aid;

·Work outside normal office hours as required and travel in order to carry out the responsibilities of the post.

·To undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the nature and scope of this post.

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

•Experience of running a small to medium sized charity/legal NGO and/or legal department within the NGO sector (or other equivalent senior management role);

•Demonstrable experience of managing and leading a successful team and the ability to manage a growing team with mixed roles from team supervisors to administrative support staff, working co-operatively with colleagues to maintain transparency and effective working relationships within the team;

•Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds

•Strong understanding of good governance including legal, regulatory and financial responsibilities;

•Ability to work with a range of stakeholders from trustees to external partners;

•Experience of leading and/or participating in organisational strategic planning;

·Experience of legal policy work within the human rights field and /or of strategic litigation, whether as an NGO claimant or legal representative;

•Experience of managing diverse funding sources and setting and implementing budgets;

•Experience of working in a service delivery partnership with other organisations;

•Experience of fundraising, especially grants from trusts and foundations;

•Sound working knowledge of the law and policy as it relates to immigration,  asylum, human rights and modern slavery/trafficking;

•Demonstrable understanding of the asylum and human rights sector in the UK;

•An understanding of the barriers migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers face regarding access to legal advice, reasons why they may become destitute and why this makes it more difficult to access advice and support; and

•The passion for working empathetically and supportively with migrants, refugees, stateless people and asylum seekers.

Desirable Experience

·Experience of managing the delivery of frontline casework with people in the asylum or trafficking systems

·Experience of tendering for and delivering publicly funded contracts e.g. LAA or local authority funding;

·Working knowledge of Legal Aid Agency contracts, including the delivery of casework and billing under a legal aid contract in the immigration and asylum category and/or the public law category;

We are delighted to be supporting Hand in Hand in their search for an ambitious, confident Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer to join their award-winning fundraising team. You will join a team of eight, including a Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships, three Philanthropy Partnerships Managers, two Philanthropy Officers and a Philanthropy and Corporate Assistant.

This is a Trusts and Foundations-focused Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer role with a mix of responsibilities across family Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Foundations, Wealth Management firms, and HNWIs. It’s a programme-led role and suits someone who is both personable and detail-oriented, excited by co-developing impact with donors through tailored projects.

As Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer, you will:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of family Trusts and Foundations, Wealth Management firms, and HNWIs
• Manage accounts worth $215,000 and drive new business worth $175,000
• Contribute to the team target of $7.1 million
• Develop detailed, programme-specific funding proposals
• Steward existing donors and develop new partnerships
• Build strong relationships with donors based on detailed programme insight

Ideal skills and experience:

• At least 1 year in a fundraising role ideally Trusts and Foundations or Major Donor
• Proven track record of securing gifts of c.$20,000+
• Ability to own relationships and manage a donor portfolio
• Methodical, detail-oriented, confident, and persuasive
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills
• Open to candidates from Corporate or Major Donor backgrounds who enjoy proposal development

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to join our People Directorate Leadership team as the Head of Involvement at Alzheimer’s Society. This pivotal role will focus on deepening our understanding of the lived experiences of those affected by dementia and driving the development and delivery of our Involvement Strategic Plan. You will empower people affected by dementia, co-producing initiatives, and sharing their invaluable experiences, ensuring inclusion and equity in all aspects of our work. 
 
As Head of Involvement, you’ll lead a dynamic team, collaborating across the organisation and with external partners to influence the wider dementia sector. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact, shaping policies and practices that directly affect the lives of people living with dementia and their carers. You will have the chance to be a thought leader, promoting and raising the profile of involvement activities that truly make a difference.

What You’ll Focus On

- Leadership, Culture Transformation & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of Alzheimer’s Society’s Involvement Strategic Plan, ensuring meaningful, impactful, and inclusive involvement of people affected by dementia.
- Inclusion & Diversity: Champion equity, diversity, and inclusion, creating opportunities to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and people affected by Dementia.
- Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership to the Involvement team, building a high-performing culture prioritising wellbeing, learning, and accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain trusted, high-impact relationships with stakeholders across health, social care, and the third sector.
- Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate across directorates and with external partners, ensuring that involvement is embedded in all organisational and strategic initiatives.
- Impact Measurement: Use data and insights to clearly articulate the impact of involvement on operations, strategic direction, and culture change.

About You
We’re looking for a dynamic individual who brings a wealth of experience in involvement work, with a proven track record of embedding inclusive practices and developing sustainable initiatives. You’ll be an excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You will also possess the ability to inspire and lead a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
You should be a trusted expert who demonstrates compassion, determination, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference. The ideal candidate will also have:

- Significant experience in developing involvement models across sectors and organisations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards shared goals.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to act as an ambassador for the Society’s involvement work.
- A passion for inclusion, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by people with dementia and their families.

At West London Synagogue (WLS), we have made a commitment to helping London’s most vulnerable residents regardless of faith and background. This is achieved through delivering direct services to those who need it most. We have identified asylum seekers and refugees as the core communities in which we can have an impact. 

We work closely with Westminster City Council, as well as local and national organisations to identify where our resources can be best focused, where we can bring added value, and where our teams of volunteers can make a meaningful impact. 

We run 2 drop-ins each month. Our Family drop-in welcomes families with children and of all faiths and ethnic origins who are seeking asylum in the UK. We rely on volunteers to help provide a hot meal, grocery vouchers, toiletries, companionship, and advice for families who have fled life-threatening violence or persecution in their countries of origin. 

As well, as our Family drop-in, we run the monthly 'Rainbow' Group.LGBTQI+ asylum seekers in the UK face the same challenges that most asylum seekers face in the UK. In addition, they face further challenges since their sexual orientation WLS opens its doors once a month to provide a safe space for LGBTQI+ asylum seekers to feel a warm community welcome, to build community together, and to receive vital support whilst living in poverty awaiting a decision on their asylum application. 

At WLS we have recognised the unjust and compounded hardships for asylum seekers who are members of the LGBTQI+ community. We aim to create an environment where asylum seekers of the LGBTQI+ community can feel safe, supported, and comfortable.

We are looking for a committed Project Leader who can drive progress, inspire a team of volunteers and make a positive impact to the lives of everyone who attends our Social Action projects.
