What you’ll do

• Lead and deliver AudioActive’s fundraising and development strategy

We're looking for a motivated team assistant to join our collaborative and dynamic Partnerships team. You will play a key role in supporting the Partnerships team in achieving Choose Love’s ambitious fundraising goals while driving engagement and increasing awareness. 

Our perfect candidate will be a team player, very organised, and have great attention to detail. In this role, you'll be an important coordinator for the team, ensuring our systems and processes work seamlessly and that our supporters feel valued and inspired at every step of their journey. You will be working within a fast-paced environment, confidently managing a varied workload and engaging professionally with high-profile, corporate and community stakeholders. You'll be instrumental in helping our team to reach our ambitious fundraising targets and will contribute across the full breadth of the Partnerships function, supporting corporate partnerships, brand and merchandise collaborations, talent engagement, and events.

We are looking for a Public Affairs and Campaigns Officer to join our team and help influence decision makers and mobilise our campaigners to achieve our vision of fewer lives lost to suicide. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering inspiring public affairs and advocacy campaign activity that help achieve our policy and influencing aims, resulting in lasting system change.​

About the Role

As Public Affairs and Campaigns Officer, you will lead on the development and delivery of impactful advocacy campaigns and public affairs activity, managing supporter journeys and mobilisation, as well as political engagement. It involves building strong relationships with parliamentarians, Samaritans branches and people with lived experience, while producing high‑quality campaign actions, briefings, events, and intelligence to influence change.

In-person working: Meeting in person and working collaboratively are things we value. We work in person around 2 days per month. This role will also involve regular travel to Westminster.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver effective advocacy campaign actions.
• Manage campaign data, mailing lists and inboxes.
• Support strategy development for campaigns and lead community mobilisation.
• Promote our campaigning work internally and externally.
• Build and maintain public affairs relationships, particularly with parliamentarians.
• Monitor parliamentary developments and identify opportunities for influencing.
• Coordinate political engagement events.
• Provide secretariat support to relevant APPGs.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience designing impactful advocacy campaigns.
• Solid understanding of public affairs and the Westminster environment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and adaptable, with strong project and time‑management skills.
• (Desirable) Knowledge of suicide prevention and mental health policy, local and regional political structures, and experience within complex service‑delivery charities.​

We’re looking for a Family Support and Activities Coordinator to join our friendly and committed team. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work directly with families in their homes and communities, coordinate volunteers, and plan engaging activities for young children and parents.

About the role

You’ll support families with young children who may be facing challenges such as isolation, low confidence, or complex needs. At the same time, you’ll design and deliver fun, development-focused activities and groups that help children thrive and parents feel more confident.

A key part of this role is delivering sessions during school holidays, when families often need additional support. Your work will help ensure continuity of care and reduce isolation during these times.

You’ll also:

• Assess family needs and provide tailored support
• Match and support volunteers working with families
• Plan and deliver stay-and-play sessions, workshops, and activities
• Build strong relationships with local partners, schools, and services
• Promote our work in the community and support outreach efforts

Around 70% of your time will be spent out in the community, including home visits and delivering groups.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in working with children and families (e.g. schools, nurseries, family services or similar)
• Confident delivering group activities or workshops
• Warm, approachable, and able to build trust with a wide range of people
• Organised and able to manage a varied workload independently
• A strong communicator with good written and IT skills

War on Want challenges the root causes of poverty and injustice. We run impactful campaigns in the UK - and work with partner organisations across the Global South. We are currently relaunching our trade justice campaigning and are looking for an energetic early career campaigner to work on it. 

The trade system sits at the heart of the rigged global economy. It perpetuates social, economic and climate injustice. From fossil fuel corporations suing governments in secret courts, to British mining giants violently extracting minerals from countries in the Global South, to upholding neocolonial patterns of economic inequality. 

Our re-launched campaign will challenge these secret ‘ISDS’ courts and the dangerous global rush for critical minerals, while championing trade justice.

This is a diverse and challenging role. On a typical day, the successful candidate might be planning a panel discussion, producing social media content, meeting an MP, carrying out research, organising a protest, or coordinating with allied organisations. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with a passion for social justice.
