Secure internal buy-in for new ideas by preparing compelling business cases and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Job Purpose
This role sits within our new forensic Women’s Nova Roots service, which is a peer led service for women who are leaving forensic services, based in West London. The service will be open 3 days a week: one weekday evening out of hours and three weekends a month (flexible weekend pattern and times can be arranged).
The aim of the service is to support women who are leaving forensic care to re-integrate into society by offering a community social hub. The focus of the service is to provide social engagement, relaxation and a touch point for out of hours forensic support. The Women’s Hub will provide face-to-face holistic group support, offer psychoeducation and health workshops tailored and coproduced to the direct needs of clients, offer peer-led groups which will be co-designed and led by the clients accessing the hub. We will also offer a range of activities onsite.
Nova Roots will be an extension of the existing support offered by the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), offering out of hours social support. All referrals into the hub will be directly from the SCFTs and local hospitals.
The Nova Roots will be staffed with 1 part time Project Coordinator and 4 Forensic/Peer Led Volunteers – with Service Manager oversight. The Project Coordinator will work directly and closely with the SCFTs.
The Role
The role of the Nova Roots Project Coordinator is to arrange and coordinate a range of psychoeducation, health and peer-led workshops which will be delivered 3 times a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the 4 peer-led volunteers and oversight of the site 3 days a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will also be required to be in regular communication with the SCFTs.

We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Head of Fundraising. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a key member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.
An exciting opportunity has risen for a versatile and driven Head of Fundraising. The postholder will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy, implementing the fundraising plan, overseeing the fundraising budget, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations. This role has strategic accountability for fundraising, but will be hands on, involving operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable income sources for Richard House.

The Health IGVA will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals and providers to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about gender based abuse and different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG): including Domestic abuse and violence (physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, economic or tech abuse), Sexual Violence (Rape and sexual assault), Stalking and harassment , Sexual exploitation (including women working in sex industry and Child Sexual Exploitation), Female genital mutilation (FGM)/cutting , Forced marriage, So-called ‘honour’-based abuse, provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for survivors of all genders, aged 16 years and over and their children, living, working or/and studying in Lambeth.
The post holder will work in partnership with the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Gaia Service Manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area and build links with health professionals and support agencies.
The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multiagency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support.

Role Description
The Programmes Executive plays a key role supporting our community of schools during their time on the programme across the school year. Key Responsibilities:
Relationship management

● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.

● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.
● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.

Join Union Grove Community Nursery as Our Freelance Bookkeeper
Role: Freelance Bookkeeper / Accountant
Location: Union Grove Community Nursery, Lambeth, London (Hybrid – some in-person work approximately 2-3 times per year)

Union Grove Community Nursery is a long-standing, not-for-profit nursery based in Lambeth. For 25 years, we've offered high-quality, affordable childcare to local families, placing warmth, care, and community at the heart of what we do.
As a small charity (annual income under £500k) caring for up to 48 children at a time, we pride ourselves on giving every child the attention and support they need to thrive. Our team is friendly, values-driven, and committed to creating a safe, joyful environment for early years education.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable freelance bookkeeper or accountant to join our extended team and help keep our finances running smoothly. You’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role, supporting our nursery’s sustainability and ensuring we can continue delivering quality care for local families.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with purpose-led organisations, and who values flexibility, community impact, and clear communication.
Your Key Responsibilities
● Run monthly payroll (ideally in-person with our Nursery Administrator), and issue payslips to staff
● Prepare monthly management accounts in a clear, accessible format for trustees and management
● Produce statutory annual accounts for submission to Companies House and the Charity Commission
● Provide ad-hoc support and advice on bookkeeping, accounting, and financial queries as well as forecasting
● Assist in creating cash flow forecasts or budgets
● Act as a secondary bank signatory
What We’re Looking For
● Proven experience in bookkeeping or accountancy, ideally with small charities or community organisations
● Confidence with payroll processes and charity finance
● A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset – someone we can turn to with financial questions
● Familiarity with accounting software and simple reporting formats
● Bonus if you have experience working with voluntary boards or in the non-profit sector
