About You

We’re seeking an ambitious, results-driven fundraising professional with a proven track record in securing six and seven figure multi-year gifts.

As our ideal candidate, you have new business knowledge and are adept at building and nurturing high-value relationships, demonstrating gravitas and passion for the cause when engaging with senior stakeholders, Trustees, and high-net-worth donors.

You have the skills and experience to autonomously lead on every stage of the cultivation journey. Strategic thinking is crucial – you can spot growth opportunities, shape innovative fundraising propositions, and collaborate across teams to deliver transformative outcomes for the BHF.

As someone who adopts a truly collaborative perspective, you can think beyond your own portfolio and team to deliver transformative relationships.

Your experience of engaging senior volunteer leaders, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and working within a matrix structure will be essential.

You have exceptional communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to inspire commitment and connection to our mission. Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems are required.

Working arrangements

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

On occasion you will need to attend evening events.

About the role:

As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. The Motability Foundation is seeking a proactive Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement professional to join the Communications team and help drive forward our public affairs and wider engagement activity.

Reflecting the current dynamic political environment, we are looking for a driven Executive to play a critical role in promoting and enhancing awareness of the Motability Foundation among key political stakeholders, as well as wider audiences across the disability sector, transport operators, and other relevant stakeholder groups. 

 
What you will be doing:

• Supporting the implementation of public affairs activities aligned with the Motability Foundation’s vision and overall strategy. 

• Amplifying the Motability Foundation’s voice in Parliament, across the devolved nations, by supporting political engagement work under the guidance of the Public Affairs Manager 

• Monitoring the political, legislative and regulatory landscapes in relation to the work of the Motability Foundation and providing timely updates to relevant internal stakeholders.

• Providing updates on relevant political developments and drafting briefings for Governors, Directors, senior management and a variety of audiences across the organisation where appropriate. 

• Supporting the delivery of a contact program with key stakeholders, raising awareness of the work of the Motability Foundation, supporting work to establish regular meetings for senior leaders and facilitating dialogue on issues relevant to our work.

Your experience:

Must haves

• Solid grasp of parliamentary processes in Westminster and the Devolved Nations, and familiarity with wider Parliamentary functions and vehicles – e.g. All Party Parliamentary and Cross-Party Groups. 

• Prior experience of working in public affairs or similar field. 

• Experience of regular political monitoring and familiarity with utilising political monitoring services - i.e. DeHavilland, Polimonitor or similar.

• Ability to advance projects independently with appropriate support from senior team members, while contributing effectively to team efforts. 

• Experience of producing briefing notes for stakeholder meetings and updating on policy developments for a variety of audiences.

• Comfortable drafting written communications designed for political audiences – i.e. emails, letters, briefing notes. 

• Ability to proactively identify opportunities to influence policy and shape political activity. 

• Strong communication skills, with an ability to grasp complex issues quickly and share information in an accessible way to a variety of audiences. 

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders in Government, industry, and other charities and foundations, particularly via written communications. 

• Highly IT literate with extensive experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 

Nice to haves: 

• Understanding of key disability and transport issues, such as the social model of disability, inclusive micro mobility, or the transition to electric vehicles.

The Fundraising & Partnership Lead will report to the Head of Smart Works Birmingham and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of income generation for the charity. In collaboration with the Head of Centre and Trustees, with the responsibility for Fundraising, the successful candidate will design and implement the centre’s annual income generation strategy. The position will concentrate on diversifying income streams, fostering corporate partnerships, and cultivating relationships across the West Midlands to support all fundraising initiatives, thereby ensuring the organisation's long-term sustainability.

As Foundation Director, you will shape and drive the next phase of Love Rowing’s development. You will lead fundraising strategy, build new partnerships with major donors, trusts and foundations, and develop innovative initiatives that create lasting social impact. You’ll work closely with a passionate team, a supportive and hands-on Board of Trustees, and the wider British Rowing community.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in securing substantial, multi-year funding and developing high-trust relationships with major donors and philanthropic partners. You’ll be an engaging advocate and storyteller, able to inspire others with the mission of changing lives through sport.

You’ll bring strategic vision, financial acumen, and a collaborative approach to leadership. Experience of governance, impact measurement, and working with boards or partner organisations will be key.

About the role

At ClientEarth, we are looking for a Senior Supporter Experience Officer to design and implement engaging stewardship journeys. You will work closely with our philanthropy account managers, leading on project-managing multiple donor communications, setting up meaningful journeys that strengthen relationships with high-net-worth individuals and partners.

Meet your Manager

In this role you will be managed by Camilla Fitzgerald. Camilla joined ClientEarth in 2022 and is part of ClientEarth’s fundraising team, working hard to grow our supporter community and brand awareness while stewarding supporters, both in the UK and internationally. She focuses on corporate and philanthropic giving, with a particular focus on unrestricted income to help secure long-term financial stability for the organisation. Before joining ClientEarth, Camilla was Director of Development at Walkabout Foundation, where she built and implemented their 5 year fundraising strategy. Camilla started her career in Events Management, having learnt first at The Institute of Masters of Wine, and then solidifying her experience in fundraising at Brooke and then charity: water UK. Camilla went to school at the French Lycee Charles de Gaulle in London and completed her degree in History of Art at Oxford Brookes University.

Main Duties

• Lead on the project management, design, content creation and publishing of communications for the Philanthropy team (including impact report and newsletters) and work with translators to ensure communications are produced in other key ClientEarth languages
• Lead on the development of bespoke reporting for six and seven figure restricted and unrestricted gifts to produce high-quality, compelling reports tailored in style and content to suit a range of audiences in different geographies
• Work closely with the Philanthropy team to ensure gold standard stewardship for ClientEarth’s philanthropy donors: driving creative, unique and inspiring ideas for tailored stewardship touchpoints throughout the year;
• Partner with the Design Manager to deliver visually compelling reports and original donor stewardship touchpoints tailored to the Philanthropy portfolio;

Role requirements

• Experience of writing, coordinating and submitting successful funding proposals and reports for both short- and long-term projects
• Experience of providing first-class stewardship or excellent customer service, including designing donor journeys across multiple formats and knowledge of the donor life-cycle
• Experience of managing competing deadlines and managing multiple stakeholder requests, tasks and priorities
• Ability to interpret varied and complex information and reframe in a clear, concise and persuasive way
